Abstract

本发明一般地涉及电动阀,例如,向内燃机注射液体燃料的喷油器。特别地,本发明涉及一种使喷油器可携带性能数据的方法。
                        发明背景
某些电动阀,如某些喷油器,含一阀针,可在阀体内部作轴向往复运动,以响应电力机械开关的激励与去激励,从而有选择地打开和关闭通过阀体的流径。喷油器通常带有内含电磁线圈的筒形线圈组,该电磁线圈受到激励后便引起电枢的轴向运动。
本领域中涉及喷油器线圈结构的专利数相当可观,一般来说,电磁阀包括一个电枢,可在第一和第二个位置之后移动,使得针阀与阀座接触或分离。基本线圈结构包括线圈、固定铁磁杆和可移动铁磁性电枢。该电枢和杆可通过象重力、弹簧力或压力这样的力来分开。
在专利文献Offenlegungsschrift DE 1952037 A1中,描述了一种测试喷油器及用测试结果标记喷油器的方法。这些结果自喷油器传至燃料控制计算机,该计算机使用这些数据来控制燃料的喷射。所使用的标签可以是条型码,也可以是以EEPROM的形式。
汽油机的制造商们在产品技术要求中规定了喷油器的静态和动态流速。前者的波动一般不超出±3.2%,而对于后者则不超出±3%。在制造过程中,喷油器必须百分之百地满足上述特性要求,超出极限之外的产品一律丢弃。落在极限之内的喷油器符合通常用直方图表示的正态分布。
当喷油器与发动机配套后,其性能可能表现为该统计分布的两端。尽管仍符合总体规定,但却会对车辆的废气排除产生变数。这种喷油量时多时少的状况直接影响到废气的排放。
随着政府的标准逐年增高,制造商们也不断缩紧静态和动态流动的可变性。今日工业上的目标是对一组参数只允许在±1.5%范围内变动。较紧的容限要求较好的残渣内吸收,最终提高了产品的造价。
由此可见,很需要有一种能给车载计算机提供与任何给定喷油器相联系的准确的技术数据的方法。
上述要求可通过本发明的数据存储和再调用方法来达到。在该方法中,喷油器的技术测试结果由本身携带,并传输至车载计算机,最终导致了废气排除的改善。
简言之,本发明包括将EEPROM(电可擦可编程序只读存储器)技术特征提供给喷油器。当然,本发明的原理可潜在地应用于除这里所表示和描述的喷油器之外的许多别的形式喷油器,并可借助多种数据存取装置来实现。
根据本发明,一种存储和再调用有关电磁线圈操作的喷油器技术数据的方法,包括测试与该喷油器有关的技术数据及将该技术数据传至喷油器这样一些步骤。然后将该喷油器的技术要求传输给车载计算机。喷油器间的差别可加以调整或补偿,从而通过让发动机接受性能一致的喷油器来改善废气的排放。

                    优选实施方案描述
图1中,部分地以截面图形式显示了一典型的喷油器10,用以将燃料注射至内燃机内。喷油器10的主要部件,包括由透磁材料制成的箱12及压模壳14;同样用透磁材料制作的管状入口连接管16;出口连接管18;调试管20;弹簧22;电枢24;电磁线圈组26,包括线圈架28及电线30;电源终端32,用以将喷油器与一用电操作的有选择地激励电磁线圈的控制电路相连;以及一阀体组件34。电枢24可在第一和第二个位置间移动,使针阀或导销36因可在导槽40内移动而与阀座38接触和分离。各种密封装置包括0环42也可使用。
这些部件的相对放置与常用美国专利4610080中的喷油器基本相同。该喷油器属通常所称的顶部进料式,即燃料经过入口连接管16进入,而后又自轴对面的喷嘴18作为排放物射出。
差别基本只涉及本发明中的新特性。让产品带有识别码已成为许多工业部门的包装和制造过程中的关键一环。
现在来看一看图2,图中与喷油器10相连的EEPROM存储器装置44即为本发明的数据存储的实施方案。存储器装置44位于图1的喷油器10的外表面,且最好附接于位置46处与连接管和终端32相对的喷油器的那一边。在本发明的优选实施方案中,存储装置是直径约为1/8″的金属圆盘或按钮。
本发明说明提供一种让喷油器保留其技术测试结果的方法,这些测试结果包括静态流动、动态流动、泄漏速率及开机时间。数据最好以EEPROM形式,如存储芯片,由喷油器携带。这些数据然后传输至车载计算机。相关的软件可对所给的参数进行“调整”或“补偿”,以便容纳喷油器要求上的变化,使发动机接受的是性能相同的喷油器,最终改善废气的排放。
在本发明的最佳实施方案中,任一给定的喷油器,例如喷油器10,在制造过程中要接受测试,以提供与该特别喷油器有关的技术数据和要求信息。这些数据然后经一阅读器传输给与喷油器相接的数据存储装置,如存储按钮44。存储按钮44通过使用EEPROM技术而无需内置电池。电力在与阅读器接触时便获得。由于不需要内置电池,存储按钮从不会断电,且在喷油器与发动机的界面上无需进一步绕电线。数据的寿命与喷油器寿命一样长,且与温度无关。典型的存储按钮44有4到8位内存。存储芯片44可以说是为单个喷油器所规定的信息的“微型数据库”。
连接存储芯片44与喷油器10的方法可通过任何合适的装置。例如,可包埋于压模塑料盒内或只是使用胶粘剂在压模过程中形成一小口袋。存储器的典型操作温度为-40°F到+180°F,在此温度范围内性能不会变差。
因此,本发明提供了一种数据存储和再调用的方法,并可“调整”或“补偿”车载计算机逻辑使得喷油器的可变性缩小至一单一、居中的喷流。除了技术资料。有关制造的信息,如制造日期、分配器控制号、零件号码、升降标记。以及线圈组内径号数等均可编码。对于本领域的同行,很清楚,这一过程显然适用于所有喷油器。
由上述对本发明的详细描述并参阅本发明的最佳实施方案,不难看出,本发明的原理可以别的形式应用于各种喷油器及别的由电磁线圈操作的开关,而不超出在所附权利要求书中所限定的本发明的范围。

Claims (3)

1.一种存储和再调用与由电磁线圈操作的喷油器有关的技术数据的方法,包括下列步骤:
测试该喷油器,以便得到涉及该喷油器的技术数据要求;
将一存储装置连接到该喷油器上;
将所得技术数据要求传输至上述存储装置;
将上述技术数据要求自该存储装置传至一车载计算机,而该计算机则使用这些技术数据要求对喷油器之间的差异进行有利地调整,使得喷油器的可变性缩减至一单一、居中的喷流。其中,将所述存储装置接至所述喷油器的步骤,其特征在于将所述存储装置包埋于压模壳中。
2.根据权利要求1的存取技术数据的方法,其中技术数据要求以EEPROM形式携带在喷油器上。
3.根据权利要求2的存取技术数据的方法,其中将技术数据要求传至所述与喷油器相接的存储装置的步骤,进一步包括应用一台与EEPROM兼容的阅读机将所述技术数据要求传至所述存储装置这一步骤。
