Abstract

Description

使用便携电话话筒/耳机插口 的无线数据通信系统
本发明涉及使用便携电话的无线数据通信系统,特别是通过将计算机的调制解调器利用一接口单元经话筒和耳机插口与便携电话连接进行计算机数据通信的无线数据通信系统。
典型的传统无线数据通信系统是如下配置的:使用具有专用连接器的便携电话从安装在便携计算机中的调制解调器进行无线数据通信。一条电缆电气连接便携电话和调制解调器。在传统的无线数据通信系统中,调制解调器和便携电话中安装了特制连接器以便经由便携电话发送和接收。
在T.J Davis等人题为“带有中频处理的多频涡流试验装置”的美国专利(No.4,467,281);和A.L.Serrano等人题为“用于蜂窝系统的微处理器控制接口”的美国专利(No.4,718,080),以及Wm.G.Haggar,III等人题为“无绳电话数据输出器”的美国专利(No.4,914,686);和H.M.O′Sullivan的题为“便携混合通信系统和方法”的美国专利(No.4,972,457);和Mark J.Emery等人题为“使用有线/无线综合的个人通信业务”的文献中的那些电路结构中列举了试图经由一无线手机连接微处理器获得数据通信的实例。
诸如现有技术提供的这些设计趋于依赖便携电话和调制解调器中安装的专用电连接器,需要大量的电缆电耦合便携电话和调制解调器。另外还需要用于无线通信的专用协议,并且该专用协议必须在使用前预先安装或存储在随机存取存储器中。
因此,本发明的目的是提供一种能够在基于微处理器的装置和无线电话之间进行可靠无线数据通信的改进方法和装置。
本发明的另一个目的是提供一种能够用便携电话的话筒/耳机插口在基于微处理器的装置和无线电话之间进行无线数据通信的方法和装置。
本发明的再一个目的是提供一种能够用耦合到便携无线电话的话筒/耳机插口的传统的数据电缆在基于微处理器的装置和无线电话之间进行无线数据通信的方法和装置。
本发明的再一个目的是提供一种简化的便于在基于微处理器的装置和无线电话之间进行无线数据通信的方法和装置。
本发明的再一个目的是提供一种使用便携无线电话的话筒/耳机插口而无需用于支持无线调制解调器的通信专用连接器和用于通信的专用协议的无线数据通信系统。
为实现这些和其它目的,本发明考虑使用便携计算机的话筒插口和耳机插口在便携计算机的计算机调制解调器和便携电话的话筒和耳机插口之间进行数据通信。具有发射器级和接收器级的接口模块通过计算机调制解调器和便携电话的话筒和耳机插口之间的电耦合传送信号。发射器接口模块具有一个放大从调制解调器发送端输出的信号差的差动放大器,一个用于调节差动放大器产生的信号增益的传输增益调节器,和一个在使传送接口模块的阻抗与便携电话话筒插口的阻抗匹配之后从传输增益调节器向便携电话的话筒插口传输信号的传输匹配级。
接收接口模块包括一个接收匹配级,它在使便携电话的阻抗与接收接口模块的阻抗匹配后从便携电话的耳机插口输出信号,还包括一个接收增益调节器,用于调节来自接收匹配装置的信号增益并将该信号输出到调制解调器的接收端。
因此,来自调制解调器发送端经放大的差动信号在通过传输接口模块后,经便携计算机的话筒插口传送到便携电话的话筒/耳机插口。来自便携电话话筒/耳机插口的信号在通过便携计算机的耳机插口之后,经接收接口模块被传送到调制解调器的接收端。
以下将结合附图详细说明本发明及其许多附加优点。图中同样的参考标号表示相同或相似部件。附图中:
图1是便携电话和具有支持无线调制解调器的特制专用连接器的调制调器之间的传统的无线数据通信系统的配置的非实物表示视图;
图2是在便携电话和调制解调器之间使用耦合到无线调制解调器的专用连接器的传统的无线数据通信系统的简化方框图;

图5是根据本发明原理使用便携电话的话筒/耳机插口在便携电话和调制解调器之间提供通信的接口单元的电路图。
如图1和2所示,现有无线数据通信系统可通过使用便携电话500装配便携计算机80。一个专用连接器端口110位于便携计算机80的机体外部,为经安装在便携计算机80内的调制解调器100进行的无线数据通信传输提供端口。无线数据通信的专用连接器端口510位于便携电话500的机体外部,在专用端口110、510的两端装配的带插头的电缆5 12电连接便携电话500和调制解调器100之间的连接器110、510,从而使计算机80通过便携电话500发送和接收数据。
如图3、4所示:便携式袖珍或笔记本计算机90通过形成在计算机90外壳一侧的话筒端口210和耳机端口220经多芯电缆522内部操作地耦合到蜂窝电话500的端口520,在多芯电缆522内,一条导线的一端作为可耦合到话筒端口210外侧的插头,电缆522内第二条导线的同一端作为可耦合到耳机端口220外侧的插头,而电缆522内第一和第二导线的相对端作为可耦合到无线便携电话500的话筒/耳机插口520外侧的插头。
如图5所示:接口单元200包括数据发射器300和数据接收器400,并可使用耦合到便携计算机90的总线的内部或外部调制解调器100。接口单元200的发射器300可由差动放大器310、传输增益调节器320。和传输匹配装置330构成。接口单元200的接收器400可由接收匹配级410和接收增益调节器420构成。
在差放大器310中,运算放大器OP1接收从运算放大器OP1传送到传输增益调节器320的数据信号。
运算放大器OP2有一个连接到诸如电路接地之类的本机参考电位的输入端,和经电阻R6连接到电容C1的另一个输入端。跨接电容器C1接收的输入数据信号被反馈环路放大,该反馈环路可由跨接运算放大器OP2的一个输入端和电阻R6之间的节点和运算放大器OP2输出端的并联的电容器C5和电阻R7构成。电容器C2将运算放大器OP2的输出端耦合到传输增益调节器330中的运算放大器OP3的一个输入端口。运算放大器OP3的另一个输入端口在反馈环路中连接到运算放大器OP3的输出端口。运算放大器OP3作为一个缓冲器,并在隔离发射器装置300的后续级的负载阻抗变化之后向便携计算机的话筒插口210传送输出数据信号。
在接口单元200的接收器400中,接收匹配级410的运算放大器OP4在隔离便携无线电话中后续电路的负载阻抗变化之后传送经由耳机插口220从便携计算机90接收的输出数据信号。接收匹配级410的输出信号通过电容器C3传送到接收增益调节器420。
在接收增益调节器420中,运算放大器OP5包括一个连接到诸如电路本机接地电压之类的本机参考电位的输入端,另一个输入端接收由匹配级410经与电阻R8串联的电容器C3传送的数据信号。由反馈环路提供反馈信号,该反馈环路可由位于电阻R8和运算放大器OP5的输出端之间的并联的电容器C6和电阻R9构成。在运算放大器OP5的输出端出现的输出数据信号经与电阻R10串联的电容器C4传送到调制解调器100的接收端RXA。
根据本发明优选实施例的操作如下:差动放大器310的两个输入端从调制解调器100的对应发送端TXA1和TXA2接收数据信号并放大这两个输入数据信号的差值。传输增益调节器320接收来自差动放大器310的经放大的差动信号并调节经放大的数据信号的增益。传输匹配级330作为缓冲器,从传输增益调节器320接收经调节的数据信号,并在隔离发射器300的前级310、320的负载阻抗变化后向便携计算机90的话筒端口210传送经调节的信号。
作为缓冲器的接收匹配级410在隔离便携电话500内的前级电路的负载阻抗变化后在便携计算机90的耳机插口220传送从便携电话500接收的输出信号。接收增益调节器420从接收匹配级410接收缓冲数据信号,调节缓冲数据信号的增益,并向调制解调器100的接收端口RXA传送经调节的数据信号。
从便携计算机向便携电话的数据传输说明如下。如图4、5所示:在连接在诸如MOTOROLA TAC型1000之类的便携电话500的话筒/耳机插口520和便携计算机90的调制解调器100之间的接口模块200中,差动放大器310放大来自调制解调器100发送端口TXA1和TXA2的信号的差值,经放大的差动信号通过调节差动信号增益的传输增益调节器320,传输匹配级330使经调节信号的阻抗与便携电话500的话筒插口210的阻抗匹配,并将经调节的信号施加到便携计算机90的话筒插口210。施加到话筒插口210的数据信号经电缆522传送到便携电话500的话筒耳机插口520,然后通过便携电话500的天线524以射频通过无线方式发送该数据信号。
从便携电话500向便携计算机发送的数据处理如下。如图4、5所示:通过便携电话500的天线524以射频信号接收的数据通过便携电话500的话筒/耳机插口520并经便携计算机90的耳机插口220通过电缆522施加到接口电路200。接收匹配级410使向耳机插口220传送数据信号的便携电话500的阻抗与接收增益调节器420的阻抗匹配。接下来,将通过接收匹配级410的信号在接收增益调节器420调节数据信号的增益之后,传送到调制解调器100的接收端RXA。
通过接口模块200的该协同操作可在调制解调器100和便携电话500之间双向传输发送或接收的数据。在图3、4和5所示的本发明优选实施例中,当听到调制解调器的接收音或对方的传真音时用户执行加载到计算机90的工作存储器中的通信软件。接下来,如果输入指令ATD,用户可与对方通信。由此可通过无线射频借助可在市场上买到的一般用途的调制解调器发送和接收数据。结果是,不需要特别构造的专用连接器连接调制解调器和便携电话,不需要用于无线通信的专用协议,并且当利用便携电话通过无线发送或接收便携计算机的数据时不需要将专用协议预先安装或存储在RAM(随机存取存储器)中。
上文描述了本发明使用便携电话话筒和耳机插口的无线数据通信系统的实施例,以便经由接口单元通过连接计算机调制解调器和便携电话的话筒/耳机插口进行计算机数据通信。利用更少的电缆简化了便携计算机调制解调器和便携电话之间的接口模块电路,并且如果调制解调器和便携电话装配有现有设计的插口,可在本发明应用中继续使用该插口。

Claims (10)

1.一种无线通信系统,所述系统包括:
一个计算机调制解调器;
用于便携计算机的一个话筒插口和一个独立的耳机插口;
一个具有话筒/耳机插口的便携电话;
一个通过电连接所述计算机调制解调器的发送和接收端口向所述话筒插口和所述耳机插口中的各插口分别传送电信号的接口模块;和
一条将所述话筒插口和所述耳机插口耦合到所述便携电话的所述话筒/耳机插口的电缆。
2.根据权利要求1所述的无线系统,其中所述接口模块包括:
差动放大器装置,用于放大从所述调制解调器发送端输出的信号;
传输增益调节器装置,用于调节来自所述差动放大器装置的信号增益;
传输匹配装置,用于在进行阻抗匹配后从所述传输增益调节器装置向便携计算机的所述话筒插口传送信号;
接收匹配装置,用于在进行阻抗匹配后从便携计算机的所述耳机插口输出信号;和
接收增益调节器装置,用于调节来自所述接收匹配装置的信号增益并将该信号输出到所述调制解调器的接收端。
3.根据权利要求2所述的无线系统,其中所述差动放大器装置包括:
第一运算放大器,用于接收和放大所述调制解调器发送端的输出信号;
一个连接到所述第一运算放大器的一个输入端和一个输出端的第五电阻器;和
一个向所述传输增益调节器装置传送所述第一运算放大器的输出信号的第一电容器。
4.根据权利要求2所述的无线系统,其中所述传输增益调节器装置包括:
一个接收所述差动放大器装置输出信号的第二运算放大器;
跨接所述第二运算放大器的一个输入端和一个输出端的并联的一个第七电阻器和一个第五电容器;和
一个向所述传输匹配装置传送输出信号的第二电容器。
5.根据权利要求2所述的无线系统,其中所述传输匹配装置包括:
具有一个从所述传输增益调节器装置接收信号的输入端的一个第三运算放大器;
一个连接到所述第三运算放大器的一个输出端的第二输入端;和
连接到便携计算机的所述话筒插口的一个输出端。
6.根据权利要求2所述的无线系统,其中所述接收匹配装置包括:
具有一个从便携计算机的所述话筒插口接收信号的输入端的一个第四运算放大器;
一个连接到所述第四运算放大器的一个输出端的第二输入端;和
一个向所述接收增益调节器装置传送信号的第三电容器。
7.根据权利要求2所述的无线系统,其中所述接收增益调节器装置包括:
一个从所述接收匹配装置接收输出信号的第五运算放大器;
跨接所述第五运算放大器的一个输入端和一个输出端的并联的第九电阻器和第六电容器;和
向所述调制解调器的一个接收端传送从所述第五运算放大器输出的信号的串联的第十电阻器和第四电容器。
8.根据权利要求1所述的无线系统,其中所述接口模块构成所述调制解调器的一部分。
9.根据权利要求2所述的无线系统,其中所述接口模块构成所述调制解调器的一部分。
10.一种无线数据通信系统,包括:
一条由第一电导线和第二电导线构成的导电电缆,所述第一电导线的第一端作为可耦合到由微处理器驱动的装置的话筒端口外侧的插头,所述第二电导线的第一端作为可耦合到该装置的耳机端口外侧的插头,所述第一电导线和所述第二电导线的第二端作为可耦合到无线电话的话筒/耳机插口外侧的插头;
一个根据可跨接调制解调器的两个分离输出端的所述差放大器的输入端口之间出现的差值产生第一数据信号的差动放大器;
一连接所述差动放大器以便通过修正所述第一数据信号的增益提供第一调节信号的调节器;
一个可连接的发送缓冲器,以便向话筒端口内侧发送所述第一调节信号;
一个可连接的接收缓冲器,以便接收到耳机端口内侧的数据号;和
一连接到调制解调器的接收器端口的增益调节器,以便通过修正所述数据信号的增益提供第二调节信号。
