Abstract

Description
发明领域
本发明关于诸如重力输送装置的水处理装置和用于这种装置上的过滤器滤筒。本发明特别关于一个灌注计量的滤筒和除去来自处理后的水的水处理颗粒的滤筒组件。
发明背景
家用水处理装置在技术上是已知的。它们包括在管线中的装置(例如在一个水槽下)、终端装置(例如安装的水龙头或计数盖)和成批处理水的独立系统。该成批处理的装置的例子是水瓶和/或饮水瓶和大的水筒,处理后的水从一个出口倒出。该成批水处理系统也可与其它装置、如咖啡壶装在一起。这些独立系统通常具有由过滤器滤筒分开的上、下腔。它们依靠重力迫使水从上腔通过滤筒进入下腔,从而产生处理后的水。
防止颗粒通过而处理水的机械过滤器,具有一个简易的寿命终止指示器,它是通过由于颗粒沉积而使流量减少来指示的。化学清除介质(如活性炭基介质和离子交换介质)采用吸附法和离子交换法来处理水,这些方法没有减少水流量或提供其它的寿命终止指示。
已研究了多种途径来提供一种不是由介质产生的寿命终止指示。例如人们已知的用机械和电子方法来“累计”已处理水的量的方法。机械方法一般包括一个涡轮和减速齿轮。电子方法一般包括一个压力转换器和与之做成整体计算体积的微处理器。然而这些系统都相当昂贵,不适用于批量处理装置。
在批量处理系统中,可以通过计量灌注次数而大致知道已处理过的水的量。在1994年11月17日申请的美国专利申请No.08/341420中描述了这项先有技术,该申请估计不久将被授与专利权。该专利申请的灌注计量系统采用了一个浮体,在装置每灌注一次时浮体在一根螺纹杆上转一圈。这种方法的不足之处是不能连续可见地指示剩下的使用寿命的量,仅在寿命终止时才有指示。
当采用较松散的介质时,如在批量系统中常用的松散的颗粒状活性炭和树脂时,介质颗粒可能随着处理后的水跑出漏筒。虽然摄入这些颗粒不会产生大的健康问题,但顾客不希望在处理后的水中看到沉淀物。在美国专利No.4969996中示出了具有这项不足的重力输送系统的例子。
现在需要的是一种新颖的灌注计量机构,它能提供过滤器滤筒中剩下的使用寿命的量。也还需要有一种新颖的过滤器滤筒组件,它能减少处理后的水中的介质颗粒。
发明概述
本发明的某一方面涉及一种重力输送水处理装置的过滤器滤筒的寿命终止机构。虽然在这里示出为一饮水瓶,但应看到,本发明可用于各种其它的重力输送装置中,例如具有倾倒插口的较大的水箱或咖啡机上。
在本发明的一个方面中,寿命终止机构包括一个浮体,在水处理装置灌注时升起,在水被处理后落下。一个计量机构计量该水处理装置灌注的次数。该机构包括一个棘轮装置的机构,其中浮体在它每次升降时沿棘轮装置行程行进。
在本发明的另一个方面中,寿命终止机构包括计量水处理装置灌注次数的机构。该灌注计量机构包括一个由水移动的构件。一个可见的指示机构与灌注计量机构配合提供过滤器滤筒中剩下的使用寿命的连续可见的指示。
在本发明的另一个方面中,本发明包括一个减少处理后水中的水处理颗粒的过滤器滤筒组件。虽然这里仅公开了重力输送的系统,但本发明也可用于不用重力而将水压过介质的系统中。

优选实施例的详细描述
这里描述的过滤器滤筒10可用在各种重力输送的水处理装置中。过滤器滤筒10在这里装在一个饮料瓶中。参见图2,滤筒10包括一个计量该水处理装置已被灌注的次数的机构20。当灌注计量机构20装在过滤器滤筒10中时,也可从它上分开,重新使用。
灌注计量机构20包括一个浮体25,它在每次灌注水处理装置时沿棘轮装置的行程前进。浮体25包括若干朝下伸展的环状壁26,在浮体25的下方形成通道27。通道27聚集空气,从而在浮体沉浸时使它能向上升起。
棘轮装置是一个机构,通过它使一个构件通过重复移动沿两个预计的停止位置之间的一条行程前进。棘轮装置行程的例子可在摆钟上发现。上面未描述的棘轮装置行程也可在本发明的原理下进行使用,例如棘轮装置行程可以是线性的而不是圆的。另外作为钟摆,在两个预计位置之间移动的构件不必是沿棘轮装置行程前进的同一个构件。棘轮装置行程的形状也可与这里描述的锯齿状行程不同。
优选的棘轮装置行程30包括分别形成在上部32和下部36棘轮装置上的上部行程33和下部行程37。正如图3所示,上部行程33和下部行程37通常为锯齿形并相互偏置。
浮体25沿棘轮装置行程30按如下方式前进。参见图2和3,当浮体25沿中心杆28升起时,销子29(优选的浮体包括若干销子)从下部行程37的第一个齿38(位置A)升到上部行程33(位置B)的第一个齿34。然后在浮体升起时销子沿第一个齿34从位置B到C。当浮体落下时,销子降到下部行程37(位置D)的第二个齿39和进一步降到位置E,因此,浮体25每次升降一次,它将沿棘轮装置行程30前进一个齿。
灌注计量机构20以下列方式提供了过滤器滤筒10内使用寿命的连续可见的指示。参见图2和4,浮体上的齿轮24与一个行星齿轮22啮合,行星齿轮22在浮体25转动时沿着上部棘轮装置32的齿31的圆形行程中前进。行星齿轮22包括通过盖40上的一个或多个开口可见到的杆23。行星齿轮22按顺时针(见图4中箭头)转动,一直转到上部棘轮装置32上的止动齿35时为止。在盖40上装有合适的指示装置,在例如滤筒寿命还有一半和已到达寿命终止时告诉用户。
在本发明的原理范围内,也可采用这里未公开的各种连续可见的指示机构。例如该机构可采用由水移动的构件,如一个浆轮而不是浮体。指示构件可连接到由水以各种方式移动的构件上。这种机构也不必包含棘轮装置行程。
水以下列方式流过过滤器滤筒10。水通过盖40上的开口41、43和下部棘轮装置36和上部棘轮装置32上的圆的进水孔42进入浮体腔21。为了在水平而下降时确保浮体25下降时破坏上棘轮装置32和浮体25之间的表面张力,在上棘轮装置32具有向下突出的棱45。水从浮体腔21通过下部棘轮装置上的槽46流到介质12。水还通过槽44直接进入介质12,槽44位于下部棘轮装置36的下方,从而使水处理装置的上腔内的几乎所有的水均流入过滤器滤筒。然后过滤后的水从罩14底部的槽15存在过滤器滤筒中。
现在将参照附图1~5来描述本发明的过滤器滤筒组件50。应该看到,虽然图示的组件50是一饮水瓶100状,它也可在本发明的原理之内用于不是水处理装置的各种场合。
在图1中所示的过滤器滤筒组件50呈饮水瓶100的形状。饮水瓶100包括构成脏水上腔的漏斗105和构成处理后水的下腔的水瓶102。水瓶102包括把手103和倾倒口104。当饮水瓶100组装后,漏斗105插入水瓶102内,盖101盖在其顶上。
图5示出了一种优选的过滤器滤筒组件50,组件50包括过滤器滤筒10和杯子55,杯子55可分开地由三个朝内的凸件56装到滤筒10上,三个凸件相隔120°,它们贴合到滤筒10的相应的扣爪16上。滤筒10由围绕着罩14上端周边的合适的弹性密封边缘17封装到漏斗105的向下伸展的密封表面106上。杯子55的通道54置于过滤器罩14的凹陷区13内,以后将装配到杯子55的通道54内的键107用于使杯子55和滤筒10相对于漏斗105确当地对准。
杯子55做成并布置成能防止水处理介质12中的颗粒进入水处理装置的下腔(这里是水瓶102)。这在重力输送装置中尤其重要,因为在这种装置中采用了诸如颗粒状活性碳和离子交换树脂的松散的介质颗粒。进入上部进口端18的脏水迫使介质颗粒12从下部出口端19排出并进入杯子55的底部59。当水向上行进时颗粒留在杯子55的底部59。处理后的水通过内侧壁52和外侧壁53之间的间隙51从杯子50中流出,壁52和53起到一个导流板的作用引导处理过的水向下。凹口58通过减小杯子50底部59下侧的水的表面张力来协助水的流动。如果该水处理装置是一个饮水瓶102,间隙51最好开在把手103的同侧,从而在倾倒时颗粒不从杯子55中出来。
这样,杯子55起到一个水杯的作用,它可防止介质颗粒进入水瓶102。在置换过滤器滤筒10时,杯子55能被拆下,冲洗并重新装到下一个过滤器滤筒上。杯子55可在本发明的原则、在有利于减少处理后水中的介质颗粒量的情况下做成各种其它形式。
应该看到,本发明不仅限于上述实施例,这些实施例仅作说明之用。在本发明的原理内,即由所附权利要求表达术语的广泛意义指出的整个范围内,可以在细节上、特别在形状、尺寸、零部件布局或元件材料上进行变化。
Claims (20)
1.一种用于重力输送水处理装置的过滤器滤筒的寿命终止机构,包括:
一个在灌注水处理装置时升起、在水被处理以后落下的浮体,和
计量水处理装置灌注次数的装置,包括一个棘轮装置,其中上述浮体沿棘轮装置行程行进,每次上述浮体升起和落下。
2.按照权利要求1的过滤器滤筒寿命终止机构,其中上述浮体绕中心轴沿着通常为圆形的棘轮装置行程转动。
3.按照权利要求1的过滤器滤筒寿命终止机构,其中上述棘轮装置行程包括上部和下部的通常为锯齿状相互偏置的行程,这样,当上述浮体升起时它也从上述下部棘轮装置行程的第一个齿上升起,并沿着上述上部棘轮装置的行程的第一个齿行进,当上述浮体落下时,它与上述下部棘轮装置行程的第二个齿啮合,由此使上述浮体前进。
4.按照权利要求1的过滤器滤筒寿命终止机构,其中上述浮体包括至少一个与上述棘轮装置行程啮合的伸出的凸体。
5.按照权利要求1的过滤器滤筒寿命终止机构,还包括在该过滤器滤筒到达其使用寿命终端时提供可见指示的装置。
6.按照权利要求1的过滤器滤筒寿命终止机构,还包括提供过滤器滤筒剩下的使用寿命量的连续可见的指示装置。
7.按照权利要求6的过滤器滤筒寿命终止机构,其中上述连续可见指示装置包括一个指示构件,该构件在上述浮体沿上述棘轮装置行程行进时,由上述浮体推进该指示构件。
8.按照权利要求7的过滤器滤筒寿命终止机构,其中上述指示构件是一个齿轮,它与上述浮体上的相应的齿啮合,这样,当上述浮体沿上述棘轮装置行程转动时,上述浮体推进通常为国形行程的指示齿轮,上述指示齿轮的一部分是可见的,从而提供过滤器滤筒剩下的使用寿命的连续可见的指示。
9.按照权利要求1的过滤器滤筒寿命终止机构,其中上述寿命终止机构装入过滤器滤筒中。
10.一种用于重力输送水处理装置的过滤器滤筒寿命终止机构,包括:
用于计量灌注水处理装置次数的装置,包括一个由水移动的构件,
与上述灌注计量装置合作的装置,用于提供过滤器滤筒剩下的使用寿命的连续可见的指示。
11.按照权利要求10的过滤器滤筒的寿命终止机构,其中上述构件是一个浮体。
12.按照权利要求11的过滤器滤筒的寿命终止机构,其中上述灌注计量装置包括一个棘轮装置机构,其中上述浮体沿棘轮装置行程行进。
13.按照权利要求12的过滤器滤筒的寿命终止机构,其中上述连续可见的指示装置包括在上述浮体沿上述棘轮装置行程行进时由上述浮体推进的指示构件。
14.按照权利要求10的过滤器滤筒的寿命终止机构,其中上述寿命终止机构装入过滤器滤筒中。
15.一种用于水处理装置的过滤器滤筒组件,包括:
一个含有水处理材料并具有上部进口和下部出口的过滤器滤筒;和
一个放在上述出口端下方的水盘,它可拆卸地装到上述过滤器滤筒上,并可从水处理装置上分开,上述水盘做成并布置成使从上述出口端流出的处理后的水通常朝上述入口端流动并流出上述水盘。
16.权利要求15的过滤器滤筒组件,其中上述水盘通常制成基本伸到上述上部入口端的杯子形。
17.权利要求15的过滤器滤筒组件,其中水盘包括一个朝下伸展形成一个导流板的外侧壁,和一个通过内侧壁的底端向上伸展的内侧壁,这样,处理后的水通过上述内、外侧壁之间的间隙流出上述水盘。
18.权利要求15的过滤器滤筒组件,其中上述水盘包括一个从上述水盘的底部向上伸展的凹口,用以减小上述底部下侧上的处理后的水的表面张力。
