Abstract

本发明所述的移动无线装置包括在其一侧有连接器部分的机身;主显示屏安装在该机身上;辅助显示屏包括终端部分,它与机身一侧的连接器部分为可拆卸连接。辅助显示屏与机身连接,在发射或接收时辅助主显示器显示信息。当用户携带此装置时,辅助显示屏可从机身上拆下来,因此,该装置在不增加尺寸的情况下实现了较大的显示面积。

Description

移动无线装置
本发明涉及一种含有显示屏的移动无线装置,尤其涉及手持电话、PHS(个人手持电话系统)或类似的能增加显示屏显示信息量的移动无线装置。
通常所述类型的移动无线装置包括一块LCD(液晶显示屏)。在接通电话时和通话期间,与话音不同的是,该LCD可显示本无线装置和对方话机的电话号码、信息、或者类似的文本信息。目前,由于无线装置增加了高级功能,使得显示屏上出现的信息量得到了增加。
通常上述显示屏仅有有效的四行、每行为20个字符用于显示信息。当显示的信息超出上述限度时,无线装置的用户要滚动显示屏的屏幕。然而滚动操作执行起来麻烦,况且用户可能跟不上显示屏滚屏速度。为避免滚屏操作可增加显示屏的面积,但此方案使无线装置体积太大而不适用,即,手持电话的配置应体积小、重量轻。
在(例如)日本专利未决公开No.7-64523,8-223332,8-256098和9-247265中揭示出了多种与本发明有关的技术。
因此,本发明的目的是提供一种能够增加话机显示屏的显示信息量又不增加机身尺寸的移动无线装置。
含有本发明所述机身的一种无线装置包括一个安装于机身前面的主显示屏,它用于显示各类数据;以及一个辅助显示屏,该辅助显示屏与机身相连或者可拆卸地安装在机身上,它用于辅助主显示屏显示数据。
通过以下的说细文字详明并参考附图,本发明的上述及其它目的、特征及优点将更加明了。
图1是说明体现本发明的移动无线装置的外部透视图;
图2A-2C中各图是说明图1实施例中主显示屏和辅助显示屏显示信息的具体模式的视图;
图3A和图3B是说明本发明补充实施例的外部投影图;
图4A和图4B是说明本发明另一个补充实施例的外部透视图;
图5显示了配置在本发明所述无线装置中的电路的示意框图;
图6是说明本发明的另一个补充实施例的外透视图;
图7说明了包括在图5电路中的控制器控制主、辅显示屏具体工作的示范流程。
以下将对根据本发明所述的移动无线装置的优选实施例进行描述。作为例子,图示说明的各实施例为数字手持电话。
参考附图1,体现本发明的移动无线装置包括机身1;从机身1顶部伸出的发射/接收天线2;配置在机身1上的微型话筒或接收器3;麦克风4;开始接通装置至远程台的启动按钮5a;结束通话的结束按钮5b;催促本装置用户使用辅助显示屏9的报警灯5c(将在后面描述);以及数字键和各种功能键6。包括LCD液晶屏7a的主显示屏7镶嵌在机身上1,具体来说,主显示屏7固定在机身1的面板上。在机身1的一侧形成有连接器部分8。
在上述的辅助显示屏9的前面也有一块液晶屏9a,接至连接器部分8的终端部分10被安排在辅助显示屏9的一侧。当终端部分10插入连接器部分8时,辅助显示屏9与机身1电接通,并能按照和主显示屏7同样的显示方法同时在显示屏9a上显示信息,当不需要显示屏9时或者当用户携带机身1时,可将辅助显示屏9从机身1上取下并收藏起来,例如放在机身1的后部或侧面。
图2A-2C各说明主显示屏7和辅助显示屏9显示信息的具体模式。在图2A中,主显示屏7和辅助显示屏9组合构成一个单行水平长屏幕,在屏幕7a和9a上出现的一行数据以分段对齐的方式排列。在图2B中,数据溢出屏幕7a,但却从屏幕7a上延续出现在屏幕9a上,即数据在连续的两个页面上显示。在图2C中,屏幕7a和9a并联构成显示不同种类信息或不同内容信息的复显示屏,在这种方式下,只要两个显示屏7和9的规格相一致,则机身1的有效显示区域可增加一倍,而且不增加机身1的尺寸。
以下将参考图3A和3B对本发明的补充实施例进行描述。如图所示,在图示说明的实施例中,机身1一侧棱边的附近有一个活页部分9b,辅助显示屏9围绕机身1上的活页9b展开或打开,也是由LCD实现的屏幕9a和屏幕9c被分别固定在辅助显示屏9的前面或者背后。图3A表示辅助显示屏9的屏幕9a折叠覆盖在主显示屏7上,即使当辅助显示屏9保持在折合位置时,用户也能在屏幕9c上看到出现的信息,即辅助显示屏9起主显示屏7的作用。图3B表示处于展开位置的辅助显示屏9,此时数据出现在屏幕7a和9a上。根据这个结构,本实施例实现了与前一个实施例同样的优点。
图4A和4B显示了本发明的另一个补充实施例。如图所示,机身1被设置成可将辅助显示屏9容纳在其内,具体来说,机身1由一个储藏部分9d形成,它用于在其一侧中存放辅助显示屏9。图4A表示辅助显示屏9被收入到储藏部分9d,而图4B表示的是将辅助显示屏9从储藏部分9d抽出到预先确定的露出整个屏幕9a的位置。连接器(未示出)被置于辅助显示屏9和机身1内,以便当辅助显示屏9被拉出到上述位置时与机身1保持电接通。在图4B所示的位置上,主显示屏7和辅助显示屏9都是可见的,因此显示屏7和9可组合显示大量数据。
图5显示出了根据本发明所述的移动无线装置内的电路配置。如图所示,该电路包括天线收发转换装置11,它与天线2连接;接收装置12,它与天线收发转换装置11连接,用于对接收的信号进行放大或其他操作;解调器13可对接收器12输出的信号进行解调;TDMA(时分多址)14与解调器13连接;CODEC(编码器/解码器)15与TDMA14连接,它用于对接收的语音进行编码或对待发送的语音进行解码;控制器16包括CPU(中央处理单元)和半导体存储单元(尽管未特别示出);QPSK(正交移相键控)调制器17与TDMA14连接,在图示说明的实施例中使用π/4QPSK解调方案;功率放大器18与天线接收发送转换装置11和QPSK调制器17连接;合成器19对电路的发送侧和接收侧进行高速相互转换,合成器19由DLPS(数字循环预置合成器)实现;扬声器3和麦克风4与CODEC15连接;LED(发光二极管)或信号灯5、主显示屏7和辅助显示屏9与控制器16连接。
数字键与输入接口20连接,而输入接口20与控制器16连接。QPSK调制器17由波形整形器21和正交调制器22构成。波形整形器21把TDMA的输出信号波形整形,而正交调制器22用π/4 QPSK调制电路对波形整形器21的输出进行调制。
以下将描述图5所示电路的操作。开始打电话时,通话目标的电话号码由话机用户在数字键6上输入,或从控制器16中的存储单元中调出。输入或呼叫的电话号码出现在主显示屏7或辅助显示屏9上。接着,用户按下置于机身1面板上的起始键5a,在响应过程中,控制器16启动包括TDMA14、QPSK调制器17、功率放大器18以及天线收发转换装置11在内的发送系统,并开始发送电话号码(音频信号)。此刻,合成器19在预定周期内转换发送方和接收方,以便允许该话机接收经基站来自目标的应答并发送自己的信号。在本机与目标之间建立通话以后,通过天线2进来的信号按照规定的路线通过天线收发转换装置11、接收器12、解调器13、TDMA14和CODEC15到达扬声器3,输入到麦克风4的用户语音经CODEC15、TDMA14、QPSK调制器17、功率放大器18和天线收发转换装置11被传送并辐射到空中。
当本话机接收到呼叫时,经天线2接收到的通话信号按照规定的路线通过天线收发转换装置11、接收器12、解调器13、TDMA14和控制器16到达主显示屏7(或辅助显示屏9)。结果,呼叫方的电话号码显示在主显示屏7(或辅助显示屏9)上。DODEC15将来自呼叫方的语音解码为语音信号,扬声器3根据DODEC15输出的语音信号完成电-声转换。
控制器16可对辅助显示屏9与图1、或图4A和4B所示机身1的连接进行控制,并可控制图3A和3B所示显示屏9的位置。对于图2A-2C中所示的具体显示模式,控制器16允许用户按照预定程序,通过数字或功能键6、或自动选择方式来选择其中一种所需的显示方式。例如,假设控制器16确定出显示的信息量很大、并且辅助显示屏9最好与主显示屏7一起使用,则控制器16接通报警灯5c,催促用户将辅助显示屏9固定在机身1上或放到预定位置上。
无线通信在便携式电话和PHS技术中正不断引起注意。假设上述无线电通讯装置的用户在(例如)一个公司之外接收该公司的信息、或给该公司发送信息、或经国际互联网接收信息,那么鉴于信息量很大,如果有必要则控制器16接通信号灯5c,催促用户将主显示屏和辅助显示屏一起使用。上述诸实施例中的任何一个辅助显示屏9的容量可能很小以致不能应付这种局面。鉴于这种情况,如图6所示,可以使用辅助显示屏23,辅助显示屏23的面积是辅助显示屏9的几倍,或者甚至大体和机身1的面积相等,而且它是可拆卸地安装在机身上。重要的是显示屏的尺寸可根据相关的信息量任意改变。
以下将参考图7对控制器16控制主显示屏7和辅助显示屏9的具体操作进行描述。如图所示,当接收到待显示的文本数据或类似的数据时(步骤701),控制器16使主显示屏7显示信息(步骤702)。假设接收的信息量比相应的主显示屏7的预定容量大得多(是、步骤703),则控制器16接通信号灯5c(步骤704)。接着,控制器16确定表示辅助显示屏9与机身1接通的信号(连接器信号)是否在主显示屏7上产生(步骤705)。如果步骤705的回答是肯定的(是),控制器16首先给主显示屏7传送驱动信号,使主显示屏开始显示信息(步骤706)。
只要主显示屏7一溢出,控制器16就驱动与机身1连接的辅助显示屏9以使其开始显示其余的信息(步骤707)。接着,控制器16确定显示的信息是否充满两个显示屏7和9(步骤708),如果步骤708的回答为是,则控制器16返回步骤701,如果步骤708的回答是否定的(否),则控制器16重复步骤706、707和708,直到信息全部显示在显示屏7和9上为止。假设辅助显示屏9没有与机身连接(否,步骤705),即仅主显示屏有效,则控制器16将翻动主显示屏7的屏幕7a,即把每最后一行显示的的内容转到第一行(步骤709和710)。
如上所述,控制器16根据辅助显示屏9与机身1连接与否来自动选择显示方式,这样就允许接收的数据按照最佳方式显示。
总之,根据本发明,移动无线装置除镶嵌在机身上的主显示屏外还包括一个辅助显示屏,因此该无线装置在传送和接收时能够显示的数据远比传统装置多,这使得该无线装置的用户不需要重复滚屏操作。
另外,由于辅助显示屏在不需要时将被收入机身,尽管增加了显示容量,机身是微型的且便于携带。另外,把主显示屏和辅助显示屏放置在同一个平面内,使用户容易地看到显示在屏幕上的信息。
在不脱离本发明精神的情况下,对于在本领域技术上熟练的人员来说,在接受本公开内容的训练之后,可容易地做出各种改进。例如,尽管图中说明的实施例被集中到手持电话上,然而本发明适用于PHS或其他任何种类的便携式可移动无线电话机。

Claims (8)

1.含有机身的移动无线装置,其特征在于包括:
主显示屏,镶嵌在所述机身的前面,用于显示各种信息;
辅助显示屏,它与所述机身连接或可拆卸地安装在其上,用于辅助主显示屏显示信息。
2.如权利要求1所述的移动无线装置,其特征在于所述辅助显示屏包括一终端部分,它与所述机身内的连接器部分连接。
3.如权利要求1所述的移动无线装置,其特征在于所述辅助显示屏与上述机身铰接,以便从所述机身展开。
4.如权利要求3所述的移动无线装置,其特征在于所述辅助显示屏分别在其前面和后面有第一和第二屏幕,当所述辅助显示屏折合时,所述第二屏幕将显示应在主显示屏上出现的信息。
5.如权利要求1所述的移动无线装置,其特征在于所述机身在其一侧形成一个储藏部分,用于容纳辅助显示屏,当把所述辅助显示屏从储藏部分拉出到预定位置时,辅助显示屏与所述机身电接通。
6.如权利要求1所述的移动无线装置,其特征在于所述辅助显示屏包括与所述主显示屏面连接的屏面。
7.如权利要求1所述的移动无线装置,其特征在于所述主显示屏溢出时,所述辅助显示屏将显示剩余的信息。
8.如权利要求1所述的移动无线装置,其特征在于所述辅助显示屏显示的信息与在所述主显示屏上显示的信息不同。
