Abstract

技术领域
本发明涉及用于计算机的显示系统,特别是涉及用于计算机系统的多屏显示系统,其中,多屏显示系统包括沿一水平面延伸的普通臂件上相邻设置的3个独立的液晶显示屏。
技术背景
在不同的商业活动中,多屏显示系统用得越来越多,例如在财务机构、股票经纪公司、工程公司等等。这些显示器通常连接于一单一的计算机并可适时地显示不同的图形、曲线和其他的重要信息。所以,在任一给定的时间点可以向用户显示大量的数据或信息,用户不用象使用单一的显示屏那样,必须在“多窗口”或窗口叠置的排列下掩盖信息的一部分。
到目前为止,绝大多数的多屏显示系统均被限制为并排设置的两独立的显示屏。通常,屏幕之间的相互的角度是不可调的,而且,显示器常被要求直接设置于工作台或桌子上,从而占去了很大的空间。迄今,还没有一种提供3个独立显示屏幕并将这3个屏幕以最小的系统占用空间来支承的方便有效的装置,并且这种装置还允许屏幕之一或多个可被稍作调节以使得至少其中的两个可被转动或“翻向”相对的位置,从而更容易观看3个屏幕上的信息。
因此,本发明的目的之一在于提供一种用于计算机系统的显示系统,显示系统包括支承于一普通的水平支承臂上的3个独立的显示屏,所述的显示屏被一个支承柱升起,从而大大地减少了显示系统所需要的占用面积。
本发明的另一个目的在于提供一种用于计算机系统的显示系统,显示系统包括支承于一普通的水平支承臂上的3个独立的液晶显示屏(LCD)。
本发明的再一个目的在于提供一种用于计算机系统的显示系统,显示系统包括支承于一普通的水平支承臂上的3个独立的液晶显示屏(LCD),并且,至少其中的两个可被转动或“翻向”相对的位置以优化每一个屏幕相对于用户的视角。
发明内容
本发明的目的由根据本法明优选实施例的多屏显示系统所实现。在优选施实例中,显示系统包括一基座、一从基座向上垂直延伸的支承柱,一只承于上述的支承柱的水平设置的支承臂以及3个支承于上述支承臂上的独立的液晶显示屏(LCD)。在一优选的施实例中,每一个液晶显示屏由球形接头连接于支承臂,从而使得每一个屏幕的视角可以被调节而优化每一个屏幕的视角。
基座的宽度远远地小于水平支承臂,从而腾出了大量的桌子上的空间。由于使用了液晶显示屏,所以与传统的阴极射线管显示系统相比,整个显示系统很紧凑、并且可以更靠近墙面或垂直隔板地被设置。作为优选的形式,水平支承臂略微弯曲,这样,当用户落座于显示系统的前方时,液晶显示屏相对于用户略成弧形。从而,方便了用户观看两外侧液晶显示屏。
所以,本发明的显示系统提供了一种用于在3个液晶显示屏上适时显示大量信息的紧凑且便利的装置,当用户落座或站立于该系统的前方时,使得其容易地观看任何一个屏幕。该显示系统足够紧凑,在因传统的阴极射线管型的显示屏由于其体积大而无法应用的场合,可以被应用。

具体实施方式
参见图1,图1示出了根据本发明的优选实施例的三屏液晶显示器(LCD)显示系统10。支承于工作面20之上的系统10包括一支承系统12及三个相互独立的LCD屏14、16和18。系统10形成了用于向坐于或站于该系统前面的用户显示大量信息的装置。虽然没有示出,显然每个LCD屏包括其自身的图像控制卡,该图像控制卡用于接收来自和该显示系统10相关联的计算机系统(未示出)的信息。
参照图2-5,在卸下LCD屏14、16和18后,支承系统12将展示的更清楚。支承系统12包括一基座22,一牢固地固定于基座22上的垂直支承臂26以及一略呈弯曲或弧形的水平支承臂26。该基座22包括为了更稳定地支承LCD屏14、16和18的一对支脚28。最好,基座22包括如铅板的加重结构,该铅板嵌铸于该基座中以形成适当的加重结构,在LCD屏14、16及18受到不经意的撞击时,防止其倾倒。

水平支承臂最好成形(如铸造)为一单一的构件并具有三个窝座26a、26b和26c,所述的窝座用于连结适当的球接头。图5简要地示出了其中之一的连结于窝座26c的球接头30。球接头30使得每一个LCD屏14、16和18可以精确地转动或“翻向”其他的屏幕以优化每一个屏幕相对于用户的视角。略呈弯曲外形的水平支承臂进一步使得LCD屏14、16和18可以将屏幕“围绕”用户从而使得屏幕更容易观看。其弯曲半径优选在24英寸至36英寸之间,最好在30英寸左右,从人机工学上讲,发现该尺寸最便于用户观看LCD屏幕。
水平支承臂26还包括一通道32,从图2、4、和5中可以看出,该通道形成了一个动力和/或图像信号线可容于其中的区域,以使这些线缆离开工作面20。
参见图6,水平支承臂26包括一颈部34,该颈部具有一定位件或突出于该颈部的部分36以及一凹槽38。该凹槽在图8中可以看得更清楚。该定位件36包括孔40和41。颈部也包括一孔35。
垂直支承柱24同样地包括一定位件或部分44以及一空的外区域44。定位件42包括孔43。一第一凸起46具有一螺孔48,第二凸起50具有螺孔52。分体盖54相应地由置于孔56的多个外紧固件(未图示)在空的外区域44中被固定于垂直支承柱24,所述的外紧固件延伸于形成在凸起60的孔58和孔52中。盖54成形为覆盖空的外区域44的形状,当盖54固定于此时,形成与垂直支承柱24为一体成形的外形。
参见图8,可以看出水平支承臂的定位件36定位固定于水平支承臂24。定位件42插入凹槽38中,并且,在孔40和41分别对准孔48和52时,定位件36置于凸起部46和50。外紧固件(未图示)插入穿过孔40和孔48,一独立的外紧固件(未图示)插入孔35以和孔43相配合。进一步,外紧固件(未图示)插入穿过孔56并进入孔58和52中,这样即可将盖54固定于垂直支承柱24。图9中的盖54被定位于垂直支承柱并将要由外紧固件固定于其上。
可以看出,上述的结构使得水平支承臂可以被拆下,从而另一更长的水平支承臂,比如可以支承4个LCD屏的水平支承臂,可以连接于垂直支承柱24。相反,仅适于支承2个屏幕的水平支承臂也可很容易地固定于垂直支承柱24。这种结构使得该系统非常适于提供一种模块式可扩展的显示系统。
很显然,本发明的显示系统10沿以升高的、普通的支承臂提供了一种可以支承3个屏幕的便利且对用户友好的装置。这不仅腾出了显示系统10置于其上的桌子上的工作空间,而且使得显示屏幕高于工作面一定的高度,从而显示系统便于观看。
从上述的描述中,本领域的普通技术人员可以看出本发明的宽范围的对技术方案的教示可以由多种方式来实现。所以,虽然与一个特别的实施例相关联地对本发明进行了描述,但本发明的范围并不限于此,这是由于本发明领域的普通技术人员在研究了本发明的附图、说明书以及权利要求书后,其他的变化的技术方案是显而易见的。

Claims (1)

1.一种液晶显示屏系统,包括:
一基座、
一固定于上述基座上的垂直支承柱,
一固定于上述的支承柱上的略呈弯曲的水平支承臂,该水平支承臂至少包括3个窝座,和
相应地支承于上述窝座的多个液晶显示屏,其中,
上述多个液晶显示屏通过球接头与上述窝座连结来支承于上述窝座,
上述水平支承臂与上述的支承柱之间通过螺纹连结来固定。
