                     发明背景
在过去四年里,人们对于以网络形式链接在一起的互连计算机进行商务交易的兴趣一直特别浓厚。最吸引人的就是当今称为因特网的最大网络。因特网实际上是将一些较小的链接的网络编篡起来,所有的网络基本上可自由地存取由因特网上众多参与者掌管的存储在各个网站上的大量信息。因特网已经以前所未有的方式改变了人们在传递、采集和共享信息的诸多方面。当然更多的人,占我们人口较大百分比,将会对接入因特网和在因特网上与他人通信所需的机制感到满意。
人们尤其感兴趣的是环球网(World Wide Web),现在常常缩写为“web”。环球网将形成因特网(Internet)重要子集的互连计算机集合起来。由于它具有图形能力,环球网很快变为所有因特网通信的焦点,利用特定协议利用互连环球网网站与其它地址的超链接(或“链接”)增强因特网通信。这种协议采用一种利用计算机代码(称为超文本标记语言或HTML)预测的公共软件结构。采用这种编程语言的形式创建链接,通过在以超文本传输协议(HTTP)表示的最小的新网页地址上经设定的一串信息让文本字段中的字(或者网页上的一个图形图象)链接到另一个网页的位址。
用户(用户S)采用称为浏览器的应用程序接入这些网页,两种最常用的浏览器是Netscape公司的Navigator和Microsoft公司的Explore。通过点击高亮度的文本(或特定图形图象),用户连接到当前网页被传递给与该连接相关的新网页地址,新网页显示在屏幕上。这一功能强大的工具通过单击几乎无穷的一页接一页的连续连接允许用户在“网上遨游”,所有这些都跟随由连接表的文本或图形组成部分限定的一条公共线。
例如,如果在一个网页上高亮度字unicom,用户选择该字则导致一个新的网页,具有至所高亮度概念的一定连接(强或弱)。利用unicom的图形图象可以创建一个类似链接。在两种情况下,主题的选择引起新的网页地址被插入到浏览器命令行中被执行。

虽然具有这些优点,但是环球网上的商务活动进步一直缓慢。问题主要在于很大的信息量(目前在环球网上有一百多万个网站)以及各种贸易商不能有效或充分地发出有关它们产品和服务的消息,因此,使得贸易商的相应网站包括了对一般公众是未知的关键信息。这一问题由于现有环球网网页数目的指数增长而加剧,所有这些都在寻找访问者,在这么做时,使观众变少。

                 本发明的目的和概要
本发明的一个目的是提供一种经公共网跟踪并管理多个相互互连的计算机工作站之间选择交易的数据处理系统。
本发明的另一个目的是提供一种跟踪接入置于网络所选位置上一条或多条链路的数据处理系统。这种链路既可以通过设计也可以通过仅用于互连的公共图标或正文而促销。
本发明的再一个目的是提供一种数据处理系统,该系统经环球网上一条选择促销链路进一步跟踪贸易商与链接在一起的客户之间的交易。
本发明的再一个目的是提供一种数据处理系统,该系统建立在线贸易商与网站经营商交换职业分派出价、接收媒体规划和其它广告服务的中央清算所。

                   本发明的详细描述
首先作简要概述,本发明涉及隔离数据处理系统的利用,所述系统具有为一致地操作以监测和跟踪相关单位之间交易和按照一组预定交易判别标准给参与者提供报酬而分别编程的多个分散网站。通过其用于支持因特网上交易,可以更容易地理解该系统,应当明白,以上描述也可以广泛地用于其它领域。人们熟知因特网具有大量的网站,每个网站是为把信息提供给浏览环球网的访问者而管理和配置的。有些网站被认为是“目录提供商”(或“网站经营商”,即控制一个或多个网站的这些机构)因为它们包括一个或多个含有在浏览期间用户关心信息的网页。这些网站经营商目前至少有两种机制来产生收入。第一种涉及对访问用户收取用户费,这与杂志订户有些相似。这种收入产生模式与本发明尤其不相关。

最后,在图2中,贸易商服务器40经高速传输线同样与网络链接。贸易商服务器也有利地设置为或是UNIX或是NT操作系统。

预先封装的促销工具、设定项和其它具体情况创建一个功能强大的促销工具。贸易商和网站经营商将例行地对实现简单、高度灵活和廉价的标准化安排默认。标准封装的选择过程将是低成本和易于实现的。然而,随着覆盖宽度的增大,诸如共同标记的选项将成为几个封装的一部分,增加了促销的总影响。此外,贸易商例行地将促销图形下载到清算所服务器,允许网站经营商回顾过去对一类的出价。
以与贸易商相似的方式以及正如图5所示,网站经营商在方框500将对清算所服务器进行登录,在方框510至515输入它们相应的ID。在测试520,系统对以前的注册进行检查,如果没有,网站经营商在方框530将进行注册,在方框540接收系统软件的下载,变为驻留在该网站上。

如果一直未启动自动批准,接受的出价返回给贸易商作验收或首先修改(未示出)和作为反建议给出,方框630。一旦通过,网站经营商可以返回主页,测试640,或者结束过程,方框650。
在以上安排中,一旦贸易商已经接受一个出价,那么网站经营商将接收建立与贸易商相关的标题广告所需的编码。假设清算所服务器名为marketshare.com,下面表1给出的HTML代码是把广告标题安装在网站经营商网站上的一个建立正本的例子:

现在回到图6,以流程图形式示出与用户接入相关的处理逻辑。这一过程概念上从开始方框700开始,继续到输入方框710,这里把网站位置(HTTP)输入到用户浏览器中,通过网络将用户链接到网站经营商的网站。在方框720,网站经营商在显示器上有用户访问的标题(ID)。

正如前面所讨论的,接收到有关清算所服务器上购买的信息后,计算委托决定。委托将是几个变量的因子,包括在贸易商与网站经营商之间工作的原始安排,以及接入贸易商网站的的用户定量,即用户在进行购买前是否已经由一个以上标题广告指向贸易商。如果是,那么需要一个共享或优先性计划。一旦这些项已经实现,实现贸易商和网站经营商的最终记帐,包括委托支付和记录所有交易细节。采用这种方法,创建有价值的记录,从收入上详细说明选择标题的活动,允许准确评估促销作用。
在图7中,逻辑流程图描述贸易商服务器的操作。概念上逻辑流程从方框900开始,由用户经HTTP命令进入服务器,方框910。在方框920给出贸易商的显示屏。在测试930,服务器确定用户是否到达未期满的”小饼”或类似装置;肯定的响应分支逻辑到方框940,系统把最后职业分派网站的“记帐”存储在”小饼”或类似装置上。逻辑继续到测试950,这里对购买决定作跟踪。
购买导致特定系统对交易进行记录,方框970,并把交易详细情况转发给清算所服务器,方框980。然而,如果没有进行购买,那么系统把这一情况记录在用户的”小饼”或类型装置上,方框960。在方框990完成处理。
现在参考图8,图中示出样品显示屏,给出在出价入口处理中完成的字段。正如已经确定的,贸易商采用这一字段规定至网站经营商的出价项目。在完成后,将出价详细情况存储起来并置于可寻址的存储器中,供网站经营商按照以上的图5访问。
采用以上所述的系统,可提供多种补充能力。数据库工具允许报告详细交易的产生,将数据集合到有关市场的信息中。这些报告具有重要的固有价值并代表清算所的潜在收入的第二来源。
具体地,可以用购买安排上预计的有关税收的信息、记录销售税等修饰交易数据。此外,必须在一定程度上采用货币兑换率,可以对这些进行选择并放入项目中,接着在处理每一笔交易期间实施。可以进行特别促销,包括密切关系奖励计划(类似于常见的广告传单计划)的使用。
产品/服务的共同标记也可以在上述环境中有效地实现。共同标记是通过一次促销让两个产品上市或销售。清算所服务器上的系统控制软件包括取两个或多个图象并将它们合并成一个美学上可接受表征的“合并”算法。例如,在贸易商网站上的产生标题将包括一个“返回”按钮,返回到起始网站经营商。
正如以上所讨论的,清算所网站包括许多不同的促销区,照此用合适的题标再作分类。表2将给出的代表性的题标。

Claims (16)

1.一种建立、管理和跟踪在宽接入网上进行商务交易的数据处理系统,其特征在于所述系统包括:
与所述网络互连并为显示有关一个或多个可供销售产品或服务的信息而编程的网站经营商,这里所述显示包括链接指令;
与所述网络互连并为接收信息而编程的清算所,所述信息涉及接入所述目录提供商网站上所述显示信息,以及为控制把标识符引导到潜在买方而编程;以及
与所述网络互连并为提供购买所述产品和/或服务的能力而编程的贸易商,这里,所述网站进一步为记录有关完成购买的信息和将所述购买信息返回传送给所述清算所网站而编程。
2.如权利要求1所述的系统,其特征在于:置于所述网站经营商服务器上的链接指令进一步包括有关网站地址的信息。
3.如权利要求1所述的系统,其特征在于:所述网站经营商网站上的显示信息采用高亮度文本的形式。
4.如权利要求1所述的系统,其特征在于:所述网站经营商网站上的显示信息采用高亮度的促销标题、文本链接或图标的形式。
5.如权利要求1所述的系统,其特征在于:所述网络是公用接入网。
6.如权利要求1所述的系统,其特征在于:所述网络是专用企业网。
7.如权利要求1所述的系统,其特征在于:所述清算所网站进一步提供关于贸易商与网站经营商之间促销安排的数据入口。
8.如权利要求7所述的系统,其特征在于:所述清算所网站包括数据存储器,以出价形式保存预先封装的促销安排的集合。
9.如权利要求8所述的系统,其特征在于:所述促销安排可以为自动批准而配置。
10.如权利要求1所述的系统,其特征在于:如果在访问所述贸易商的机器期间未进行购买则在访问者的计算机上放置一个”小饼”或类似跟踪装置。
11.如权利要求10所述的系统,其特征在于:在随后访问所述贸易商网站期间采用所述”小饼”或类似跟踪装置来跟踪所述访问者。
12.一种利用计算机网络将贸易商和网站经营商带到一起的数据处理方法,其特征在于所述方法包括步骤:
a.提供一个能够接收来自贸易商和网站经营商二者的多次询问的清算所服务器;
b.通过贸易商输入关于一个促销出价的数据而访问所述清算所服务器;
c.通过网站经营商搜索和/或访问关于现有出价的存储数据而访问所述清算所服务器;
d.由所述网站经营商输入一个认可或还价;以及
e.通过超级链路将所述网站经营商网站与所述贸易商网站进行电互连而完成一个促销安排。
13.如权利要求12所述的方法,其特征在于:所述促销出价包括一个自动批准指示符。
14.如权利要求12所述的方法,其特征在于:所述网站经营商接收来自所述清算所服务器的交易处理软件。
15.如权利要求12所述的方法,其特征在于:所述搜索部分包括对贸易商出价定位的关键字搜索判别标准的入口。
16.如权利要求12所述的方法,其特征在于:所述完成的促销安排描述关于所述网站经营商的销售付费项目。
