Abstract

打印机的送纸机构,含有一个导纸舱;一个可转动地固定在上述导纸舱上的机架,用来可转动地支承一个与装在打印机机体上的主动辊相对置的导辊;一个将上述导辊推向主动辊的弹簧,弹簧与机架相接触,并越过机架而延伸至固定在可上下移动的导纸舱上的连接机构的下侧,和一个固定在打印机机体上用来上下移动连接机构的凸轮,其中,可通过带动上述凸轮来改变弹簧压在机架上的力,以便根据连续式纸张和切开式纸张来调节导辊压在主动辊上的力。

Description

打印机的送纸机构
本发明涉及打印机的送纸机构。这种机构可以是使用连续式纸张和切开式纸张的信息处理机中的打印机的送纸机构;也可以是设置在信息处理机例如印刷机图像扫描仪或传真机中,用来通过送纸辊的摩擦力所堆积在送纸盘中的纸张一张接一张地送出的送纸机构。
在现有技术中已提供了一种打印机的送纸机构,在这种机构中,主动辊安装在打印机的主体上,导辊安装在可拆卸地固定在打印机主体上的导纸舱上,并且导辊与主动辊形成压力接触而将纸张送出。由于连续式纸张是通过导带、也就是钉子的作用而馈送的,故只要对导辊施加一个小的作用力来牵拉纸张就够了。如果压力太大,则会损伤输送孔,而且导带会与输送孔脱开。当使用厚的切开式纸张、例如明信片时,则必须增大导辊的压力,以便防止发生滑移。至于导辊的压力,在使用连续式纸张与切开式纸张的情况是彼此不同的。因此,必须根据所用纸张类型的不同改变压力的大小。
本发明的目的是提供一种消除卡纸现象并相应于连续式纸张或切开式纸张而变换导辊的压纸操作的机构。
为了实现上述目的,本发明提供一种打印机的送纸机构,它含有:
一个可拆卸地固定在打印机机体上的导纸舱;一个可转动地连接在导纸舱上的框件,用来可转动地支承一个与安装在打印机机体上的主动辊相对置的导辊;一个将导辊推向主动辊的弹簧,其特征是,上述的弹簧与框件相接触,并超过框件而伸到固定在可上、下移动的导纸舱上的连接机构的下侧;和一个固定在打印机机体上用来使连接机构上、下移动的凸轮,其特征是,通过驱动凸轮来改变弹簧推动框件的力,以便根据连续式纸张和切开式纸张来调节导辊对主动辊的压力。
由于可根据记录介质,即纸张的厚度来改变导辊对主动辊的压力,故可使位于导辊与主动辊之间的纸张有合适的张紧度,因此可防止发生卡纸现象。
可以采用这样一种打印机送纸机构,其中,与框件接触的弹簧至少由两个弹簧件组成,当凸轮被驱动时,其中一个弹簧件与框件脱开。在这种实施例中,当一个弹簧件与框件脱开时,就仅有另一个弹簧件使导辊压向主动辊,这样,就减小了加在主动辊上的载荷。
下面结合附图详细说明本发明。
图1、2(a)和6(b)是本发明的打印机送纸机构的视图,在此机构中可根据连续式纸张和切开式纸张而改变导辊对主动辊的压力,图1是打印机送纸机构的外形的侧视图;图2(a)是压力变换机构的平面图,图2(b)是一种压力变换机构的改型的平面图;
下面参见附图说明本发明打印机的送纸结构,在这种结构中,能够根据连续式纸张和切开式纸张而改变导辊压在主动辊上的压力。
图1是打印机的送纸机构的侧视图。
在打印机的主体(机架)101这一侧设置了一个送纸用的主动辊102、一个打印头103、一个压纸卷筒104和一个凸轮机构105(下面再说明)。凸轮机构105含有一个凸轮106、一个凸轮驱动马达107和一个中间齿轮108。
在主体101上可拆卸地固定了一个导纸舱110。在导纸舱110的两侧设置了用来将导纸舱110固定到主体101上的双臂111。在导纸舱110固定在主体101上的状态下,便有一组与主动辊102相对的导辊112来与主动辊102的上侧相接触。这组导辊112由多个辊子组成,其数目与主动辊102的数目相对应。
这些导辊112以下列方式固定。如图1和2(a)所示,在导纸舱110中设置了一根静止的轴115,在这个静止轴115上,按一定间隔安装了多个可绕其转动的保护件或称框件116,并且导辊112可转动地固定在每个框件116上。当导纸舱110固定到打印机的主体101上时,导辊112与打印机主体这一侧的主动辊102相对。
弹簧114与框件116的上侧相接触。当弹簧114将框件116向下压时,便将导辊112压到主动辊102上。弹簧114的端部伸出框件116之外而到达导纸舱110的轴117的上侧,并且轴117能够向上和向下移动。在活动轴117的下侧,安装了一个可与活动轴117相接触的凸轮106。
当馈送连续式纸张时,其操作如下:马达107启动,使凸轮106按图5中的顺时针方向转动,因此,将活动轴117向上推,从而将弹簧114向上推,这样,弹簧114便不能压在框件116上,于是,导辊112对主动轴102的压力便减小或者消除。此时,只有导辊112和上框件116的重量作用在主动辊102上。
当馈送切开式纸张时,马达107反转,于是,凸轮106按图1的反时针方向转动而允许活动轴117下降。因此,弹簧114将框件116向下推,故导辊112作用在主动辊102上的压力增加。
图2(b)示出了对图2(a)的实施例进行部分改动的视图。在这一实施例中,对每个框件116分别设置了两个弹簧114a、114b。弹簧之一114a是短的,它只伸到框件116的位置上,而另一个弹簧114b则是长的,它的一端以与前面所述的实施例相同的方式伸到框件116之外。因此,弹簧114b位于活动轴117的上侧。在这一活动轴117的下侧,以与前面说明过的实施例相同的方式设置了一个与活动轴117相接触的凸轮106。
在这一改型中,弹簧114a的压力总是通过框件116作用在导辊112上。因此,导辊112以一个预定的压力与主动辊102相接触。
在馈送连接式纸张时,当凸轮106将活动轴117向上推时,弹簧114b被向上推,故弹簧114b不能作用在框件116上。在这种情况下,只有另一个弹簧114a的压力作用在导辊112上。结果,导辊112对主动辊102的压力便减小。当馈送切开式纸张时,由于凸轮106的作用使活动轴117下降,于是,框件116由两个弹簧114a,114b向下压,这样,导辊112对主动辊102的压力增加。

Claims (2)

1.一种打印机的送纸机构,含有:一个可拆卸地固定在打印机机体上的导纸舱;一个可转动地固定在上述导纸舱上的机架,用来可转动地支承一个与装在打印机机体上的主动辊相对置的导辊;一个将上述导辊推向主动辊的弹簧,其特征在于,该弹簧与上述机架相接触,并越过机架而延伸至固定在可上、下移动的导纸舱上的连接机构的下侧,和一个固定在打印机机体上用来上、下移动连接机构的凸轮,其中,可通过带动上述凸轮来改变弹簧压在机架上的力,以便根据连续式纸张和切开式纸张来调节上述导辊压在主动辊上的力。
2.根据权利要求2的打印机送纸机构,其特征在于,与机架接触的弹簧至少由两个弹簧件组成,其中一个弹簧件在凸轮被带动时脱离开机架。
