Abstract

背景技术

发明内容
相应地,本发明提供用于医疗装置的遥控器,根据需要,包括除控制医学装置外的其他功能。根据一个示例性方面,多功能医学装置遥控设备包括功耗调节,优先考虑用于设备的医学控制功能的功率输出。根据另一示例性方面,多功能医学装置遥控设备包括充分避免用于医学控制功能的所有能量损耗的电池监控。根据另一示例性方面,多功能医学装置遥控设备适合于同时或连续与多个医疗装置,诸如连续一次性输液泵一起使用。同时本发明的一个方面还提供用于确保遥控设备和受控的特定设备间适当通信的方法。

在下文中阐述的是根据本发明的多功能遥控设备、医疗装置和系统、工具以及方法的可能的实施例和例子的详细描述。

除经天线1030接收电子无线通信外,医疗装置1000将无线信息发送回遥控设备100。信息可包括诊断信息、历史信息、装置状态信息、报警状态信息,或其它与设备100的功能有关的信息。信息也可包括设备特定的信息,诸如序列号、型号或唯一识别字母数字码。信息也可包括已经适当从遥控设备100接收到先前下载的数据传输或未适当接收的确认,从而触发遥控设备100重复电子数据的先前传输。
设备100和装置1000间的每次电子数据传输可包括表示遥控设备100、医疗装置1000或两者的识别码。将可包括编码的唯一识别码在制造它们的过程中放在遥控设备100或医疗装置1000的电子存储器中。在设备100和装置1000间的初始通信后,唯一识别码的任何一个或两个可在设备和装置间传送,以及所有后来的通信可包括唯一识别码的任何一个或两个。另外,在执行从遥控设备100接收的命令前,核对适当的识别码能消除遥控设备100的与不适当医疗装置1000通信的问题,或反之亦然。
因此,最好在设备100和装置1000间实施启动或初始化通信模式,其中交换唯一识别码的任何一个或两个后,在存储器存储任何一个或两个唯一识别码后。另外,最好,所有后来的通信包括在接受指令前确认适当的识别码。在某些情况下,遥控设备100可将唯一指定的识别码下载到医疗装置1000,然后,将其存储在医疗装置1000的电子存储器中以建立用于那个设备的唯一识别码。在本发明的以后的示例性实施例中将更详细地描述识别码指定、传送和确认的例子。

在一个示例性实施例中,本发明的医疗装置包括非卧床的液体输送设备10,如图2b所示。液体输送设备10是用于为糖尿病人输入胰岛素,以及遥控设备100的另外的功能是葡萄糖测量设备,或葡萄糖计功能。在该实施例中,遥控设备100包括测量诸如从血液样品获得的血糖的必要硬件,以便糖尿病人可避免需要携带多个手持设备(即,一个用于控制液体输送设备以及一个用于测量血糖)。

离开外壳20是设备的液体路径的出口中,包括穿透皮肤的插管72,为液体输送目的,经皮或通过病人的皮肤插入到皮下组织或其他经皮到达的地方,诸如静脉或动脉。可替代的是,离开外壳20可以是标准的Luer连接,诸如可做成连接到标准经皮输入装置。
最好,将液体输送设备10设计为低成本且具有有限的寿命诸如2-3天,然后为一次性的。这种低廉、一次性设备是可能的,因为设备10不具有昂贵的、复杂的用户接口,诸如机电式开关以及可视显示器,因为用户接口是经遥控设备100来实现的。
可将液体输送设备10充满胰岛素,以及液体输送设备10以及遥控设备100的相关程序设计足以允许复杂的流动剖面以及糖尿病人的大药丸要求,诸如胰岛素相关的或Type I糖尿病。为了生存,需要该病患人群反复服用胰岛素剂量,并且在科学研究中已经很好地证明了反复输入胰岛素的好处。
在遥控医疗装置为成批生产的产品的情况下,诸如如上所述的一次性输液泵10,遥控设备10可在超过一个周期时间与多个输液泵10通信。对每个由用户投入操作的新的输液泵10来说,可将液体输送设备10的唯一识别码加载到遥控设设备100并可将遥控设备103的唯一识别码下载到液体输送设备10中。
在优选实施例中,一次性液体输送设备10不包括唯一识别码,因为这会增加制造过程的成本。相反,在与新的液体输送设备10第一次通信时,可编程遥控设备100来下载该新的液体输送设备10的唯一识别码,反过来,编程该新的液体输送设备10以便将唯一识别码存储在其内部存储器中,用于其剩余寿命中。然后,遥控设备100与液体输送设备10间的所有后来的通信包括先前下载的唯一识别码以便确保遥控设备100和专用的输送设备10间的安全和适当的通信。

图3描述本发明的遥控设备100的另一可能的实施例的横截面侧视图。遥控设备与图2的遥控设备100类似以致相似的元件具有相同的参考数字。然而,图3的遥控设备100进一步包括多个电源以防止用于与控制医疗装置有关的设备100部分的偶然停电。

应当意识到两个电源108A、108B可向单独的专用功能供电,或者可能有特定的功能同时由两个电源供电。具体来说,为保证连续的、不间断地遥控功能,控制医疗装置的功能可由两个电源108A、108B供电,而其他功能则限定到仅由两个电源108A、108B中的一个供电。在具体的实施例中,第一电源108A为设备100的所有功能供电,以及第二电源108B仅为医疗控制功能供电并且仅当第一电源108A消耗到预定电平时才启动。每个电源108A、108B可是电池,或其他能量存储装置,诸如电容器,可由用户替换,或集成到设备上并由标准充电装置充电。在一个可能的实施例中,第二电源作为封闭在外壳102中的电容器或用户不可替换的电池,并且不可经去除电池门来访问。
在任何一种情况下,双电源结构允许遥控设备100优先于其他用户支持的功能,诸如移动电话功能,来提供电源来维持医学装置的遥控。由于最宁愿允许移动电话停机而不是控制医疗装置停机,因此在此描述的双电源控制功能避免用户不经意地或偶尔使用诸如电话而耗尽电池电源,从而不能控制他们的医学装置。
对用户来说,能将医学装置的遥控与其他功能,诸如移动电话、个人数字助理或其他手持电子设备结合是非常有利的。然而,如果使用非医学功能将电池耗尽到非常低的电平而不能控制医学装置,多功能设备将丧失其吸引力。因此,在此描述的电源控制电路防止非医学使用遥控设备100将电池耗尽到丧失医疗装置遥控功能的程度。
图3a表示可由本发明的遥控设备100遥控的液体输送10。图3a的液体输送设备与图2b的液体输送设备相似。液体输送设备10包括凹形外壳200,包括位于连续环状粘结层201中的凹面29。位于外壳粘结层201下的为第二外壳粘结层202,以便如果外壳粘结层201丧失足够的粘性并且被除掉,第二外壳粘结层202可用来将液体输送设备10连接或重新连接到病人的皮肤上。最好,液体输送设备10的尺寸大小很小以便允许舒服地连接到病人的皮肤上。基于凹形外壳200的大小和形状,可期望在连接到病人皮肤后,可弯曲外套管。沿凹形外壳的各位置设有外壳铰接部位23,以便允许弯曲。
在外壳200中包括同贮液器30,将该贮液器30设置并构造成与将输入的液体药物(诸如胰岛素)兼容。在优选实施例中,用液体药物预充满贮液器30,然而,如果以预充满药筒的形式(未示出),可由用户插入整个贮液器,或液体输送设备10可包括药物装填装置,诸如在与贮液器30的流动通信中的针插入隔膜(也未示出)。贮液器30与分配器40流动连通,分配器40用来精确地控制经出口组件70离开液体输送设备10的流量。图3a描述包括能连接到用于液体药物的经皮输送的经皮输液装置(未示出)的标准连接(诸如Luer连接器71)的出口组件70。或者,Luer连接器70可用集成到出口组件70中的经皮插管组件来代替并避免需要经皮输液装置。
分配器40控制贮液器30到出口组件70的流量,并能包括线性或旋转蠕动泵,如果未加压密封贮液器30的话。或者,分配器40能包括电动泵、活塞泵或其他液体泵装置。分配器40可与单独的计量元件结合来实现适当输入液体量,或分配器40可用来独立地输入适当的量。
如果通过例如压缩构件或通过封装在气体加压室,来加压贮液器30,分配器40可适合于简单地计量来自贮液器的液体。因此,分配器40可包括累加器室和在累加器室前和后的阀门以便分配固定的液体脉冲。另外,分配器40也适合于经节流孔的收缩和扩张来控制流率。
仍然参考图3a,电子微控制器50(在附加权利要求中称为“本地”控制器)用来电控制分配器40。分配器40可包括电驱动推进装置、电启动遥控设备,诸如压电阀或螺线管执行机构、马达或微马达、或其他需要用于启动的电信号、电源或二者的机电部件。向分配器40和电子微控制器50供电的为电源80,电源80最好是电池。如果液体输送设备10为低成本的一次性设备,最好将电源80集成到液体输送设备10上,从而避免用户需要购买并插入电池。
图3a的液体输送设备受诸如图2和3中遥控设备100的遥控设备、经由该遥控设备发送的并由通信元件60(在附加权利要求中称为“本地”通信元件)接收的无线电信号来控制,如图3a所示。最好,液体输送设备10是低成本的一次性胰岛素泵,并不包括用户接口部件并仅能通过遥控设备与用户连接。
在一个实施例中,通信元件60同时接收和传送电信号给遥控设备100。由液体输送设备10传送的信息也包括报警状况、编程历史、输液历史、编程确认、握手或其他通信确认码、或其他电控制或信息传送。信息可通过标准无线技术,诸射频或红外来传送,并包括标准握手或其他通信确认协议,诸如在商业上可获得的调制解调器和传真机中采用的。
图4是用于手持电子设备的电源的电压与时间比的图。示出了用于典型使用或典型的电池消耗的电压与时间比的衰变曲线。同样参考图3,可由遥控设备100使用通用电源108A的这种测量来确定专用电源108B何时用来向遥控设备100供电。例如,内部电子设备105能测量第一电源108A的能量电平,诸如电压电平,以及当电平降低到低于某一值时,采用第二电源108B。
在图4中,电压曲线是用于图3的通用电源108A的曲线。在图4中示出了第二电压阀值VT2,以及第二电压阀值VT2表示在该电平利用专用电源108B的预定的能量电平。测量电子设备105可包括检测通用电源108A何时第一次下降到低于第二电压阀值VT2的装置,以便如果此后电压增加到高于第二电压阀值VT2,电池状况仍然不变以便专用电源108B仍然保持连接。如果该电平先前已经降低到该阀值的话,这种区分稍微高于阀值的电压电平的方法被认为是滞后功能或方法。只要超过阀值电平,高于该阀值的较小的测量扰动不会由于最初的超出而改变最终的动作。当电压超过阀值非常显著的、预置电平时,诸如由新电池替换或充电引起的,则改变动作或执行新动作。
在图3中显示并如上所述的双电源结构的另一种方案包括产生两个与图2a中所述的单个电源108一起使用的预置能量阀值。遥控设备100进一步包括用于测量阀值诸如第一电压阀值VT1的装置,如图4所述。当单个电源108中的能量电平下降到低于第一电压阀值VT1时,停用或停止与医疗装置的遥控无关的设备100的功能。
例如,诸如移动电话使用的非医学功能与诸如将胰岛素输送到糖尿病人的液体输送设备的医疗装置的控制相比,可为不再属于优先考虑的特性。因此,当单个电源108的可用电源下降到低于第一电压阀值VT1时,为允许一个或多个小时控制液体输送设备,可将远程处理器104编程为停止遥控设备100的移动电话功能。
另外,遥控设备100的可能的实施例可包括如果用户需要的话,允许继续使用非医学控制功能的过载功能。在紧急的情况下,例如,设备100的移动电话功能可能非常重要,以致可接受冒由于耗尽单个电源108而不能使用医学控制功能的危险而继续使用电话功能。在该实施例中,遥控设备100可要求用户通过经键盘120或其他设备100的用户输入设备确认过载上述停用而重新启动电话功能。该过载可是临时的或永久的,并可触发剩余的能量电平阀值的第二电平(例如VT2),以便用来当单个电源108的可能电源下降到低于第二电压阀值VT2时,停止电话功能。
遥控设备100可包括用户在停用任何功能前,警告用户的装置。该警告可通过检测一个或多个电源的具体能量状态,通过可用于用户的音频或可视信息来实现。例如,正好高于第一电压阀值VT1的电压阀值可导致报警状况发生,从而通知用户某些功能几乎停用,与在某些电池供电的装置中的低电压报警状况类似。另外,可通过遥控设备100的电子设备检测多个阀值以便一个或多个低电压状况,因为它们涉及单个或专用功能组,可用来以优先顺序的方式有选择地停用单个或专用功能组。例如,包括医疗装置控制、移动电话功能以及个人数字助理功能的遥控设备100可包括用于所有三个状况功能的阀值并首先停用PDA功能,然后在停用医疗装置遥控设备功能前停用移动电话功能。
在本申请的范围内应当考虑到有各种用于确定一个或多个电源的能量剩余量的技术。电压检测很普遍并且可相当可靠地预测各种技术的电池的能量损耗曲线。其他技术可与电压检测一起使用或与电压检测无关地使用并且不脱离本申请的精神。已经描述过一个或多个电源实施例的例子,然而,可使用三个或多个电源来实现相似的结果,以及单个电源可由不止一个串联或并联或二种方式组合的电池组成。另外,可测量任何一个或所有电源中的多个能量阀值以便改变功能可用性状态。换句话说,利用一个或多个剩余能量测量法,最好是电压阀值,可采用一个或多个电池。基于这些阀值,可在线引入另外的电源或使具体的功能不再可用或停用,以确保医疗装置控制功能的连续操作。
除谨慎的能量电平测量,诸如电压电平测量外,可使用、结合或者分析可能包括当前测量的活动历史、电池替换和测量历史以及其他多种信息数据分析来确定启动或禁止哪些功能,或在这些功能间如何分配电源。
本发明的遥控设备100的另外的示例性实施例如图5和5a所示。图5和5a的设备与图2和2a的设备相似以致相似的元件具有相同的参考数字。然而,图5和5s的设备包括“触摸屏”显示器110TS,用于允许用户输入和用于显示信息。
同样在图5和5a的遥控设备100中包括电子通信端口171。端口171可是用于经电话线或用于连接到网络、Internet、或其他有线电子通信信道的Ethernet连接器,连接到外部计算机或Internet系统的简单的调制解调器。通信端口171可便于加载或下载各种形式的电子信息,特别是能发送到用户以帮助通知、故障查找的信息或使用正受控的医疗装置。可从临床医师或其他健康护工、遥控设备100的制造商或正遥控的医疗装置的制造商加载或下载该信息。
另外,可由包含在遥控设备100中的通信元件160所接受的无线技术来实现所有这些加载和下载信息。在这种无线方案中,可经卫星或其他全球或几乎全球通信发送信息,通过新的编程信息、文本或用户手册信息,或存储在存储器107中的其他数据更新每个可应用的遥控设备100。可通过通信元件160接收信息,通信元件的初始功能是发送,以及可能接收用于医疗装置1000的无线通信。
图6表示封装组件350,该封装组件350包括与图2b和3a的液体输送设备相似的液体输送设备10。将液体输送设备10封装在组件架353中,组件架353由可消毒的材料诸如PETG、或聚碳酸脂组成,并由组件盖352密封,组件盖352由可消毒的材料诸如由DE.Wilmington的DuPont Corporation提供的Tyvek包装材料组成。组件盖352在其底面上可包括粘合剂以便于密封地连接到组件架353上。
密封架结构允许利用各种方式(包括乙二醇消毒)来消毒液体输送设备10。在一个可能的实施例中,封装组件350的液体输送设备10可包括整体经皮输液装置。至少设备10的经皮输液装置和液体路径部分被消毒,以防止污染物通过使用设备10的病人的皮肤。
如图6所示,液体输送设备10具有信息条形码26。这种信息条形码26可由用于分类或者记录有关液体输送设备10的信息的各种系统使用。图6a的遥控设备100可具有条形码阅读器功能,并能编程以加载该信息条形码26数据来执行如上所述的初始化功能。信息条形码26数据对每个液体输送设备10来说可是唯一的,并包括唯一液体输送设备识别码,或其他唯一的和非唯一的信息,诸如制造日期、序列号、预加载的药物的类型、药物的浓度、医生识别码、病人识别码或其他临床或非临床信息。与在液体输送设备10的电子存储器中包含这种唯一信息相比,使用包含唯一设备信息的信息条形码26对批量生产液体输送设备10来说更有效且效能成本合算,特别在当该设备寿命有限或一次性使用时成本极低的设计和结构方面。
上述优选的架和盖的封装结构将是对医疗行业来说很普遍的可密封的袋。袋通常由密闭成透明的软塑料片、诸如Mylar的透气材料(诸如Tyvek)的矩形片构成。用类似于架和盖封装的方式,消毒袋结构,不用提供架封装的刚性保护,通常对制造来说成本很低。
图6b描述治疗液体源250的俯视图。治疗液体源250可包括玻璃或塑料小瓶,并可包括各种类型的一种或多种液体药物诸如胰岛素。可将治疗液体源250,象药筒,装在适当设计的并适合于液体输送设备10中,或通过互联的液体连接或经注射器和针,将治疗液体源250的内容在未示出的整体注射端口传送到液体输送设备10。另外,可预先将液体输送设备10装满液体药物,避免需要治疗液体源泉250。
将本发明的设备结合到适当的输液成套工具的各种方法可包括用单一其他类型的设备封装一种类型的设备的多个单元。例如,本发明的单个遥控设备100可以是具有30至100个本发明中低成本、一次性液体输送设备10的成套工具。典型的成套器件结构包括用多个输送设备封装的组件350封装的单个遥控设备100,每个含有液体输送设备10。如果液体输送设备10未充满液体药物,则同时将治疗液体源250封装在输液成套工具中。除上述部件或产品外,也可将其他部件或产品,诸如用户指令、用于遥控设备100的电池、用于液体输送设备10的多个电池、注射器、针、经皮渗透部位制剂材料以及其它外围设备封装在输液成套工具中。可在成套工具中提供血糖测量用品诸如刺指设备、试验片、诸如葡萄糖计的诊断设备,以及其它血糖测量附属设备。也可在成套工具中包含一个或多个备用的遥控设备100。成套工具的各种变形是可能的。
图7、7a以及7b描述与液体输送设备10或与本发明的实施例通信的遥控设备100的实施例的简图。图7描述遥控设备100和液体输送设备10间的初始通信,其中遥控设备100将无线电信息信号发送到液体输送设备10。编程液体输送设备的内部电子设备来检测初始通信,并从那时起仅接受包含不同于初始通信中信息的信息的通信。初始通信可包括表示起始的编码,以及随后的通信可不仅包括表示不是初始通信,而且包括在初始通信期间或作为初始通信的结果计算、加载、下载或者确定的信息的编码。
在优选实施例中,通过制造的所有液体输送设备10内部编程是标准化的或非唯一的,以便减少制造费用。在初始与遥控设备100通信时,将唯一识别码传送到液体输送设备10,由液体输送设备10接收,并存储在液体输送设备10的存储器中。在优选实施例中,液体输送设备10能传送信号和接收以便提供与遥控设备的双向通信。接收的指定的液体输送设备识别码可由液体输送设备10传送到遥控设备100以便确认初始和以后的通信。
在遥控设备100的寿命期间,遥控设备100存储器可与许多液体输送设备10通信,因此,液体输送设备识别码的字模(pattern)可保持在遥控设备100的存储器中以避免识别码重复。另外,遥控设备100可将用于其自身的唯一识别码发送到液体输送设备10,以确保在所有以后的通信中,可由适当的遥控设备接收信号。为实用目的,下载到液体输送设备10的唯一识别码可包括唯一前缀、后缀或用唯一方式标识遥控设备的其他部分以及唯一的另外的识别码编码,从而组合的编码对液体输送设备来说是唯一的识别码,而且在每次传输时核对整个唯一编码以确保两个设备的适当关联。在优选实施例中,其中液体输送设备10能将信息传送给遥控设备,可将唯一识别码包含在也传送信息的液体输送设备10中。
在另一实施例中,可将液体输送设备10制造成在其电子存储器中具有唯一识别码,诸如序列号。在这种结构中,除遥控设备100正在将其唯一识别码传送给液体输送设备10外,液体输送设备10在初始通信中将唯一识别码传送给遥控设备100,每个设备将两个唯一编码保存在电子存储器中,并在每个传输时核对适当的设备通信。
图7描述两个设备间的初始通信,其中将遥控设备识别码“RCID”,以及液体输送设备识别码“FDDID”从遥控设备100传送到液体输送设备10。如以上所述,唯一识别码可简单地为两个设备识别码的组合,具有或不具有另外的编码信息。由遥控设备100生成液体输送设备识别码FDDID或在制造时已经预编程到液体输送设备10中。在这种情况下,可将编码包括在随机存取或RAM存储器或只读存储器或ROM存储器。在从遥控设备100下载唯一识别码的情况下,将唯一识别码存储在RAM中。或者,如上所述,包含条形码的标签可由遥控设备100读取,以后下载到液体输送设备10的电子存储器中。

在本发明中包括各种使用遥控设备100的方法如上所述。描述了通过遥控编程器100以及医疗装置1000的其他形式的控制,编程液体输送设备10的方法。同样其能力相关于通过相应的装置更新液体输送设备10或遥控设备100的内部编程。已经描述过产生和映射用于医疗装置,诸如本发明的液体输送设备10以及遥控设备100的唯一字母数字识别码的方法。
尽管用于医疗装置的大部分描述涉及液体输送设备10,许多其它类型的医疗装置可适用于与本发明的遥控设备100一起使用。用户在其日常工作中非常希望具有遥控设备,或作为他们的工作的一部分的情况下,提高了多功能遥控设备100的价值。这种状况对用于连续输入胰岛素的糖尿病人是显而易见,而且对于他们在一天当中有相当长的时间内需要控制医疗装置的病人和医院工作人员而言,也是是显而易见的。其他用途的优点使得携带或维护遥控设备的需要看来不太繁重,而且可减少需要携带单个设备如PDA、便携电话或其他手持电子设备的需要。在本申请中描述的与一次性液体输送设备有关的方法和设计特征可适用于非一次性液体输送设备以及其他医学装置,并且不应当以任何方法限制遥控设备100或可应用系统的范围。

同样,通过除去液体输送设备的大部分用户接口(包括机电式开关),本发明的液体输送设备变得成本低、体轻、使用简单并且可能是一性次的,而且包括单个遥控设备来代替这些功能。将贮液器、液体分配器、经皮液体管理装置、固态电子设备以及无线通信设备包括在液体输送设备中来执行其预期的功能。尽管在本申请中已经描述过各种贮液器结构的装置、加压装置、液体泵装置、液体计量装置、经皮传送、电子控制和无线通信,可做出对这些领域的每一个的替换而不脱离本发明的精神。

1、一种用于向病人提供医疗的系统,包括:
A)医疗装置,包括,
本地处理器,以及
连接到本地处理器的本地通信元件;
B)遥控设备,与医疗装置分开,并包括,
远程处理器,
连接到远程处理器的用户接口部件,以及
远程通信元件,连接到远程处理器并用来以无线的方式与医疗装置的本地通信元件通信以便可在本地处理器和远程处理器间传送信息,以及
至少两个连接到远程处理器的单独的电源,
其中上述单独电源包括通用电源以及专用电源,并且遥控设备适合于使用仅用于与医疗装置和遥控设备间的通信有关的功能的专用电源。
2、如权利要求1所述的系统,其特征在于通用电源包括电池。
3、如权利要求1所述的系统,其特征在于通用电源是可由用户替换的。
4、如权利要求1所述的系统,其特征在于专用电源包括电容器。

16、如权利要求1所述的系统,其特征在于医疗装置包括液体输送设备,液体输送设备还包括:
出口组件,以及
分配器,用于使液体从贮液器流向出口组件,
其中将本地处理器连接到分配器并编程以便根据流动指令,使液体流向出口组件。
17、如权利要求16所述的系统,其特征在于液体输送设备的出口组件包括经皮进入工具。
18、如权利要求16所述的系统,其特征在于仅在从遥控设备接收流动指令后,编程本地处理器以使液体流向出口组件。
19、如权利要求16所述的系统,其特征在于液体输送设备进一步包括贮液器,以及分配器控制从贮液器到出口组件的液体流动。
20、如权利要求19所述的系统,其特征在于贮液器包含治疗液体。
21、如权利要求20所述的系统,其特征在于该液体包含胰岛素。
22、如权利要求21所述的系统,其特征在于液体输送设备进一步包括连接到贮液器的填充端口。
23、如权利要求16所述的系统,其特征在于:
只基于来自单独的遥控设备的流动指令,编程液体输送设备的本地处理器以使液体流向出口组件;
本地通信单元,包括用于接收流动指令并将流动指令传递给本地处理器的无线接收机;
遥控设备的远程通信单元,包括用于将流动指令发送给本地接收机的远程发射机;以及
遥控设备的用户接口部件,包括连接到远程处理器的输入部件,用于允许用户输入流动指令。
24、如权利要求23所述的系统,其特征在于液体输送设备包括包含出口组件、分配器、本地处理器以及无线接收机的外壳,以及其中外壳在用户输入部件之外,用户输入部件用于将流动指令提供给本地处理器。
25、如权利要求16所述的系统,其特征在于:
编程上述液体输送设备的本地处理器以便来提供流动信息;
本地通信单元包括用于从本地处理器传送流动信息的无线发射机;
遥控设备的远程通信单元包括用于从本地发射机接收流动信息的远程接收机;以及
遥控设备的用户接口部件包括连接到远程处理器的输出部件,用于允许用户接收流动信息。
26、如权利要求25所述的系统,其特征在于液体输送设备包括包含出口组件、分配器、本地处理器以及本地通信单元的外壳,以及其中外壳在用户输出设备之外,用户输出设备用于将流动信息从本地处理器提供给用户。
27、如权利要求25所述的系统,其特征在于:
编程本地处理器来从遥控单元接收至少一些流动指令;
本地通信单元也包括连接到本地处理器的无线接收机;
遥控设备的远程通信单元包括用于将流动指令发送给本地接收机的远程发射机;以及
遥控设备的用户接口部件包括连接到远程处理器的输入部件,用于允许用户输入流动指令。
28、一种包含如权利要求16所述的系统的成套工具,进一步包括用于连接到液体输送设备的出口组件的皮下进入工具。
29、如权利要求28所述的成套工具,其特征在于包括遥控设备、多个液体输送设备以及多个用于连接到液体输送设备的出口的皮下进入工具中的一个。
30、如权利要求29所述的成套工具,其特征在于每个液体输送设备包括条形码。
31、如权利要求16所述的系统,其特征在于在使用前,为运输和处理,将液体输送设备封装在容器中。
32、如权利要求1所述的系统,其特征在于遥控设备也适合于充当便携式电话、个人数字助理以及电子游戏机中的至少一个。
33、如权利要求1所述的系统,其特征在于遥控设备进一步包括存储用于医疗装置的用户手册的电子存储器。
34、如权利要求1所述的系统,其特征在于遥控设备和医疗装置间的无线通信为射频信号。
35、一种用于向病人提供医疗的系统,包括:
A)医疗装置,包括,
本地处理器,以及
连接到本地处理器的本地通信元件;
B)遥控设备,与医疗装置分开,并包括,
远程处理器,
连接到远程处理器的用户接口部件,以及
远程通信元件,连接到远程处理器并用来以无线的方式与医疗装置的本地通信元件通信以便可在本地处理器和远程处理器间传送信息,以及
连接到远程处理器的电源,其特征在于在所测量的电源的功率电平下降到低于预定最小功率电平时,编程上述远程处理器来仅实施与本地处理器和远程处理器间的信息传送有关的功能。
36、如权利要求35所述的系统,其特征在于电源包括电池。
37、如权利要求35所述的系统,其特征在于电源是可由用户替换的。
38、如权利要求35所述的系统,其特征在于遥控设备进一步包括连接到远程处理器的报警器,并且当所测量的电源的功率电平下降到低于预定最小功率电平时,编程上述远程处理器来启动报警器。
39、如权利要求38所述的系统,其特征在于报警器包括声频报警器。
40、如权利要求35所述的系统,其特征在于编程远程处理器来忽略所测量的功率电平中的滞后。
41、如权利要求35所述的系统,其特征在于医疗装置包括包含在医疗装置和遥控设备间的所有通信中的唯一识别码。
42、如权利要求35所述的系统,其特征在于在与医疗装置的第一次通信期间,上述远程处理器被编程以便来接收用于该医疗装置的唯一识别码。
43、如权利要求42所述的系统,其特征在于医学装置和遥控设备间的所有以后的通信包括用于该医疗装置的唯一识别码。
44、如权利要求35所述的系统,其特征在于在与医疗装置的第一次通信期间,上述远程处理器被编程以便来发送用于该遥控设备的唯一识别码。
45、如权利要求44所述的系统,其特征在于医疗装置和遥控设备间的所有以后的通信包括用于该遥控设备的唯一识别码。
46、如权利要求35所述的系统,其特征在于遥控设备包括包含在医疗装置和遥控设备间的所有通信中的唯一识别码。
47、如权利要求35所述的系统,其特征在于医疗装置包括外部输液泵、植入输液泵、起搏器、心脏除纤颤器、神经刺激器、X射线机、EKG机、诊断设备、葡萄糖计、血液分析器、电灸设备、手术室台、监视器以及腹腔镜控制器中的一个。
48、如权利要求35所述的系统,其特征在于医疗装置包括液体输送设备,液体输送设备还包括:
出口组件,以及
分配器,用于使液体从贮液器流向出口组件,
其中将本地处理器连接到分配器并编程以便根据流动指令,使液体流向出口组件。
49、如权利要求48所述的系统,其特征在于液体输送设备的出口组件包括经皮进入工具。
50、如权利要求48所述的系统,其特征在于仅在从遥控设备接收流动指令后,编程本地处理器以使液体流向出口组件。
51、如权利要求48所述的系统,其特征在于液体输送设备进一步包括贮液器,以及分配器控制从贮液器到出口组件的液体流动。
52、如权利要求51所述的系统,其特征在于贮液器包含治疗液体。
53、如权利要求52所述的系统,其特征在于该液体包含胰岛素。
54、如权利要求51所述的系统,其特征在于液体输送设备进一步包括连接到贮液器的填充端口。
55、如权利要求48所述的系统,其特征在于:
只基于来自单独的遥控设备的流动指令,编程液体输送设备的本地处理器以使液体流向出口组件;
本地通信单元,包括用于接收流动指令并将流动指令传递给本地处理器的无线接收机;
遥控设备的远程通信单元,包括用于将流动指令发送给本地接收机的远程发射机;以及
遥控设备的用户接口部件,包括连接到远程处理器的输入部件,用于允许用户输入流动指令。
56、如权利要求55所述的系统,其特征在于液体输送设备包括包含出口组件、分配器、本地处理器以及无线接收机的外壳,以及其中外壳在用户输入部件之外,用户输入部件用于将流动指令提供给本地处理器。
57、如权利要求48所述的系统,其特征在于:
编程液体输送设备的本地处理器来提供流动信息;
本地通信单元包括用于从本地处理器发送流动信息的无线发射机;
遥控设备的远程通信单元包括用于从本地发射机接收流动信息的远程接收机;以及
遥控设备的用户接口部件包括连接到远程处理器的输出部件,用于允许用户接收流动信息。
58、如权利要求57所述的系统,其特征在于液体输送设备包括包含出口组件、分配器、本地处理器以及本地通信单元的外壳,以及其中外壳在用户输出设备之外,用户输出设备用于将流动信息从本地处理器提供给用户。

编程本地处理器来从遥控单元接收至少一些流动指令;

62、如权利要求61所述的成套工具,其特征在于每个液体输送设备包括条形码。
63、如权利要求48所述的系统,其特征在于在使用前,为运输和处理,将液体输送设备封装在容器中。
