Abstract

Description
本发明涉及一种用于籍由手持式遥控器来判读包括(但并不限制于)中心枢轴、线性系统(linear)、扇形喷灌区(sector)、泵、机动发电机、阀、压力传感器等在内的灌溉元件和辅助设备的状态、并对其进行遥控的方法和装置。
以往已提供了用于遥控灌溉系统及其元件的多种方式。其中一种用于遥控灌溉系统的已有方式是基站控制。该基站控制是利用无线电遥测技术或者移动电话遥测技术从个人计算机(PC)来判读灌溉元件的状态、并对其进行控制的。该方法的缺点在于用户必须要位于PC旁。倘若在观察灌溉元件的运作之后出现状况,则需要即刻动作。基站控制系统须要用户回到可能数英里远的PC处来进行遥控。
第二种系统称之为远程安装的控制面板系统。远程安装的控制面板是通过将元件的控制面板安装在远离元件的场地中的一个位置上、用以提供相对易于接近该控制面板的通路来组成的。这就须要在该场地中埋设电源线和控制线。这种方法还将接近控制面板的通路限制在一个特殊位置上、即远程安装的控制面板所处的那个位置上。
本发明揭示了一种用于判读灌溉元件和辅助设备的状态、并对其进行遥控的方法和装置。该用于远程判读灌溉元件和辅助设备的状态、并对其进行控制的装置包括远程用户界面(RUI),该RUI系与灌溉元件控制器相分离的一个单元。该RUI由手持式显示器和键盘所组成。该RUI具有利用内置式无线遥测技术来与灌溉元件通信、并对其进行控制的能力。该RUI可使用户从场地中的任何位置来判读灌溉元件的状态、与它们通信、并对其进行控制,而无须用户位于灌溉元件控制装置旁、或者位于场地中的某一特定位置上。本发明的方法可使一个人能确定灌溉元件和辅助设备的状态、并控制其运作,它包括下列步骤:(1)提供手持式无线RUI;(2)利用RUI来判读灌溉元件和辅助设备的状态;以及(3)利用RUI来与该灌溉元件和辅助设备通信,以便控制其运作。
因此,本发明的主要目的在于提供一种用于籍由远程用户界面(RUI)来远程判读灌溉元件和辅助设备的状态、并对其进行控制的方法和装置。
本发明另一个目的在于提供一种用于灌溉元件的远程用户界面,该远程用户界面系与灌溉元件控制器相分离的一个单元。
本发明再一个目的在于提供一种用于灌溉元件的远程用户界面,该远程用户界面由手持式显示器和键盘所组成,并具有通过利用内置式无线遥测技术来与灌溉元件通信、并对其进行控制的能力。
本发明又一个目的在于提供一种用于遥控灌溉元件和辅助设备的方法和装置,该方法和装置可使用户从场地中的任何位置来判读灌溉元件的状态、与它们通信、并对其进行控制,而无须用户位于灌溉元件控制装置旁、或者位于场地中的某一特定位置上。
本技术领域中的那些熟练技术人员将对这些和其它目的一目了然。
图1示出了用户用来判读灌溉元件和辅助设备的状态、以使该用户能控制其运作的本发明的RUI。
在图中,标号10和12是指诸如包括辅助设备13在内的中心枢转灌溉系统之类的灌溉元件。本发明的方法和装置用于控制可为中心枢轴、线性系统、扇形喷灌区、泵、机动发电机、阀、压力传感器等的灌溉元件和辅助设备。
在努力克服已有的基站控制系统和远程安装的控制面板的缺点的过程中,得出了包括显示器16和键盘18的远程用户界面(RUI)14,如图1所示。该RUI是一种便于用户使用的手持式装置。该RUI14具有利用传统的内置式无线遥测技术来与灌溉元件和辅助设备通信、并其进行控制的能力。通过使用RUI,用户可从场地中的任何位置来远程判读或确定灌溉元件和辅助设备的状态、与它们远程通信、并对其进行遥控,而无须用户位于灌溉元件控制装置旁、或者位于场地中的某一特定位置上。
因此,可意识到的是,倘若用户查看其中安装有灌溉系统的场所、并用肉眼确定该系统工作异常的话,则该用户可利用RUI14从场地中的任何位置来确定该系统的灌溉元件的状态、与其通信、并对其进行控制。而且,取决于RUI的范围,用户可从并非是该场地中、或者该场地附近的某一位置来确定灌溉元件的状态、与其通信、并对其进行控制。然而,可注意到,该装置通常是由处于特定系统位置上的用户所使用的。
因此,可以看到,本发明至少实现了其所有的既定目标。
Claims (4)
1.在用于灌溉场地的、灌溉元件与辅助设备的组合中,包括:
具有手持式显示器和键盘的无线RUI,它用于:
(a)判读所述灌溉元件和辅助设备的状态;以及
(b)对该灌溉元件和辅助设备进行控制。
2.如权利要求1所述的组合,其特征在于,所述无线RUI具有从所述场地中的任何位置来判读所述灌溉元件和辅助设备的状态、并对其进行控制的能力。
3.在用于灌溉场地的、灌溉元件的组合中,包括:
具有手持式显示器和键盘的无线RUI,它具有下列能力:
(a)判读所述灌溉元件的状态,以及
(b)控制该灌溉元件的运作。
4.用于个人远程确定灌溉元件和辅助设备的状态、并控制其运作的方法,包括下列步骤:
提供手持式无线RUI;
利用所述RUI来判读所述灌溉元件和辅助设备的装置;以及
利用所述RUI来控制该灌溉元件和辅助设备。
