一种无纺织物的制造方法,在纤维面密度高的山部(6)和纤维面密度低的谷部(7)朝一方向平行延伸的无纺织物(1),沿与该一方向交叉的方向形成跨过相邻的山部(6)和谷部(7)延伸的桥部(8)。因此,拉伸强度和伸长容易程度的方向性小。

无纺织物的制造方法
技术领域
本发明涉及一种无纺织物的制造方法,该无纺织物在机械方向(MD方向)和与其交叉的方向(CD方向)的强度差较小,在表面具有多个起伏。
背景技术
在日本专利公报特开平8-60509号所公开的无纺织物制擦拭器中,朝一方向连续地供给亲水性纤维网和疏水性纤维网的层叠体,在其供给过程中,由从微细孔喷嘴喷射的高压喷射水流处理,对两网的构成纤维进行再配置,并相互机械地交络,形成无纺织物。之后,对该无纺织物进行热处理,使包含于网中的复合纤维卷曲,在无纺织物表面形成多个凹凸。这样获得的凹凸在将该无纺织物作为擦拭器使用时,可用来擦去附着于物品上的污垢。
在将高压柱状水流喷射到朝一方向连续供给的纤维网获得的无纺织物中,柱状水流正下方的纤维的大部分排除到侧方,形成沿网供给方向构成谷部地延伸的低纤维面密度部位,被排除的纤维聚集,形成沿网供给方向构成山部地延伸的高纤维面密度部位,该低纤维面密度部位和高纤维面密度部位沿网宽度方向交互形成,这是本行业人员所熟知的。另外,该无纺织物的上述MD方向的拉伸强度高,难以伸长,上述CD方向与其相比拉伸强度低,易于拉伸,这也是为大家所熟知的。即,该无纺织物的强度和伸长容易程度随方向不同而产生很大的差异,所以,当将其作为擦拭器使用时,为了不简单地破坏,必须留意其方向性。
发明内容
本发明的目的在于提供一种无纺织物的制造方法,该无纺织物可不注意拉伸强度和伸长的容易程度的方向性地加以使用。
为了解决上述问题,本发明的无纺织物的制造方法的特征在于,在无纺织物的制造中包含下述工序:
a.沿一方向连续地供给纤维网的工序;
b.在以下定义的供给速度减速比例为16~35%的范围,将上述纤维网供给到沿上述网的宽度方向排成一列的多个喷嘴喷射的高压柱状水流正下方的工序;

c.在上述供给速度减速比例的范围内,沿上述一方向拉取由上述柱状水流处理的网的工序。
在上述发明的实施形式的一个中,上述柱状水流从相对供给的上述网的垂直方向朝上述网供给方向的前方倾斜4°~15°的方向喷射。
在实施形式的另一个中,上述纤维网由短纤维和长纤维中的任一个构成。

具体实施方式
下面参照附图详细说明本发明的无纺织物及其制造方法。
图1、2、3为无纺织物1的透视图及其II-II线、III-III线断面图。无纺织物1通过纤维2相互机械地交络而形成,具有上面3和下面4,该上面3起伏多,该下面4与上面3相比起伏少、比较平滑并与上面3平行。无纺织物1具有纤维密度大的部位(高密度部位)6和纤维密度低的部位(低密度部位)7,该纤维密度大的部位6沿双向箭头X方向交互排列并实质上沿与其垂直的双向箭头Y方向平行地延伸。另外,无纺织物1具有桥部8,该桥部8跨过这两部位6、7中至少1个并大体沿箭头X方向延伸,其纤维面密度比低密度部位7高。这里使用的纤维面密度(以下简称面密度)指从上面3朝下面4平面地观看无纺织物1时单位面积中存在的纤维的根数。
纤维2以坪量20~200g/m2的比例使用热塑性合成纤维、纸浆粕等天然纤维、尼龙等化学纤维、或这些纤维的混合物。合成纤维最好具有0.1~3d的纤度,如必要,在进行亲水化处理后使用。
在高密度部位6,位于上面3近旁的纤维2大体朝Y向配置。在高密度部位6聚集比低密度部位7多的纤维,厚度大,顶部9位于低密度部位7的上方。最好高密度部位6在箭头X方向的宽度约为0.05~5mm,最厚部分的厚度在大约0.2~1mm的范围。
在低密度部位7,存在纤维2大体朝Y方向配置的场合和不沿特定方向配置的场合。在低密度部位7没有以高密度部位6那样的程度存在纤维2,在底部11厚度最薄。低密度部位7的箭头X方向的宽度最好为约0.02~0.5mm,底部11的厚度在0.02~0.5mm的范围。高密度部位6和低密度部位7,一方面为山另一方面为谷地沿箭头X方向反复形成起伏。该低密度部位7与高密度部位6相比,X、Y两方向的拉伸强度低,另外,易朝X、Y两方向拉伸。
桥部8大体成直角或倾斜地与相邻的高密度部位6和低密度部位7交叉,朝箭头X方向延伸。桥部8的顶部为与高密度部位6的顶部9大体相同的高度,或比顶部9高。但是,桥部8在端部13近旁的高度有时比高密度部位6的顶部9低。桥部8的宽度和长度没有特定,但作为一个例子,宽度为0.5~1mm左右,长度为5~100mm左右,沿箭头Y方向反复出现时的节距为1~3mm。桥部8的纤维2中的一部分可朝X方向配置。另外,纤维2跨过桥部8与高密度部位6间及桥部8与低密度部位7间延伸,由该纤维2将桥部8和这些部位6、7一体化。桥部8的纤维面密度与低密度部位7的密度相同或比其高,比高密度部位6的密度高的场合也有。当观看无纺织物1的全体时,这样形成的桥部8有时被看成形成于无纺织物1的上面3或上下面3、4的多个折皱。
如无纺织物1不为图1那样的情形,形成高密度部位6和低密度部位7、但不形成桥部8的无纺织物,当该无纺织物在箭头X方向受到拉伸时,则在低密度部位7特别易于伸长,而且在该部位7易于破坏。另外,当朝箭头Y方向受到拉伸时,在高密度部位6的作用下,不会象朝X方向拉伸时那样简单地伸长和破坏。这样,在沿X方向和Y方向存在强度和伸长差的无纺织物即方向性大的无纺织物形成桥部8的本发明无纺织物1中,可由桥部8的存在抑制低密度7的伸长,而且可提高拉伸强度,X方向和Y方向上的强度和伸长的差变小,无纺织物1成为方向性小的均质无纺织物。
这样获得的无纺织物1当作为例如擦拭壁面污垢用的擦拭器使用、朝箭头方向移动并擦拭壁面时,可由桥部8擦去壁面的污垢。另外,如高密度部位6和低密度部位7的厚度差大,在这两部位6、7间产生大的台阶时,如无纺织物1朝箭头X方向移动擦拭壁面,则由该台阶也可擦去污垢。另外,该无纺织物1为均质,不在X方向和Y方向产生大的强度和伸长差,所以,即使不论朝X方向移动无纺织物1,还是朝Y方向移动无纺织物1,都可擦壁面,并不用担心无纺织物1破坏。
在无纺织物1的构成纤维2为连续纤维的场合,当将无纺织物1用作擦拭器时,纤维不脱落,擦去了污垢的壁面不会附着纤维屑。另外,在构成纤维2为短纤维的场合,与使用连续纤维的场合相比生产速度快,与此相应,可降低无纺织物1的成本。
图4为示出无纺织物1的制造工序的图面。从图的左面由精梳网机供给的原料网100以速度v1供给,载到朝右方向回转的鼓状支承体102,高压柱状水流103从上方喷射。柱状水流103从排成一列的多个微细孔喷嘴104朝网101的宽度方向喷射,由该水流将构成网100的纤维再配置,同时,相互进行机械性的缠绕,构成无纺织物101。无纺织物101被以速度v2朝右方拉取,作为图1的无纺织物使用。网100的宽度方向(CD方向)为图1的无纺织物1的X方向,网100的行走方向(MD)为无纺织物1的Y方向。
在该工序中,供给速度v1比拉取速度v2大,而且当以v2为基准时,设定两速度v1、v2以使供给速度减速比例R(%)=(v1-v2)/v2×100为16~35%。另外,设定喷嘴104的位置,使柱状水流相对载于鼓102的网100的喷射方向即图4中从网100的垂线H朝前方的倾斜面度A为4~15°。
结果,在网100上紧靠柱状水流103的前方处形成朝网100的宽度方向延伸的多个折皱106,与此同时,由柱状水流103大体以其原有形状将折皱106固定于网101。固定的折皱106成为无纺织物1的桥部8。本行业的人都熟知,在朝单个方向行走的网100中,在直接喷射柱状水流103的部位,将网100的构成纤维的大部分排除到侧方,形成无纺织物1的低密度部位7。被排除的纤维聚集到柱状水流与柱状水流之间,形成高密度部位6。在图示的工序中,在鼓102的内侧设置吸引机构(但图中未示出),很快地吸引喷射后的柱状水流。
按照本发明,通过相对网100从倾斜前方喷射柱状水流103,可在网100形成多个折皱106,与此同时,可朝网100的宽度方向配置折皱106中的纤维。这样,由折皱106获得的桥部8在低密度部位7产生许多纤维,而且,该纤维的至少一部分朝网100的宽度方向配置,从而提高无纺织物1在X方向上的拉伸强度,而且,无纺织物1难以朝X方向伸长。
实施例1
将纤度0.5d的聚丙烯连续纤维构成的坪量30g/m2的网投入到图4的工序中,按以下制造条件获得形成有图1所示那样的折皱的无纺织物。该无纺织物的每坪量1g、宽度1cm的拉伸强度为:
MD方向的强度SMD=36.7(g/cm)/(g/m2)
CD方向的强度SCD=27.3(g/cm)/(g/m2)
SCD/SMD=0.74

柱状水流喷射角度(A)    7.2°
供给速度减速比例(R)    33%
实施例2
除柱状水流喷射角度(A)为10.1°以外,其它条件都与实施例1相同,在这样的条件下获得的无纺织物的拉伸强度如下:

将在实施例1中使用的网投入到图4的工序中按以下制造条件获得的没有折皱的无纺织物的拉伸强度如下:

除柱状水流喷射角度为朝与网的移动方向相反的方向倾斜3.4°以外,其它条件都与比较例1相同,在这样的条件下获得的没有折皱的无纺织物的拉伸强度如下:

SCD=24.2(g/cm)/(g/m2)
SCD/SMD=0.51
从实施例1、2和比较例1、2的SCD/SMD值可知,本发明的无纺织物在MD方向和CD方向的强度差小于比较例的值。
本发明的无纺织物除了相互平行地朝一个方向延伸的纤维面密度高的部位和低的部位外,还具有与这些部位交叉地延伸的桥部,所以,上述一个方向和与上述一个方向交叉的方向上的拉伸强度和伸长的差变小,无纺织物为均质的无纺织物。

Claims (3)

1.一种无纺织物的制造方法,其特征在于:在无纺织物的制造中包含下述工序:
a.沿一方向连续地供给纤维网的工序;
b.在以下定义的供给速度减速比例为16~35%的范围,将上述纤维网供给到沿上述网的宽度方向排成一列的多个喷嘴喷射的高压柱状水流正下方的工序;

c.在上述供给速度减速比例的范围内,沿上述一方向拉取由上述柱状水流处理过的网的工序。
2.如权利要求1所述的方法,其特征在于:上述柱状水流从相对供给的上述网的垂直方向朝上述网供给方向的前方倾斜4~15°的方向喷射。
3.如权利要求1或2所述的方法,其特征在于:上述纤维网由短纤维和长纤维中的任一种构成。
