Abstract

技术领域
本发明通常涉及电子辅助式涡轮增压器领域,尤其涉及一种改进的具有单体轴承组件的转动组合。
背景技术
作为提高发动机动力输出和效率的有效装置,利用涡轮增压器来提高内燃机中的增压空气已得到证实。利用发动机废气中的其它废能来驱动涡轮增压器有助于对其作为增压装置的效率的改进。然而,在发动机发出用于加速的动力时,依靠废气会带来众所周知的“涡轮延迟”(turbolag)效应。涡轮增压器提供的增压依赖于废气能量。因此,根据瞬时功率的要求,首先为供给发动机的冲量添加燃料,同时废能慢慢增加,从而使供给涡轮增压器的涡轮的能量增加。该涡轮转而又通过内联轴驱动压缩机,从而由该涡轮增压器按仿真(boot strapping)效果来增加增压压力。
通过向涡轮增压器添装电机,能不依赖于实际废能向旋转转子组合增加能量,因此涡轮延迟效应能被减小或消除。电机的添加使转子可以基本同时地旋转,以与燃料匹配并增压所希望的动力输出,同时当废能变得充足时,减少电力输入,以维持增压需要的水平。
添加的电机作为转子组合的一个整体部分增加了长度,并改变了动力学特征。为了保持涡轮增压器的有效运行,因此轴承系统和转子的变化是必要的。改进的浮动轴颈轴承系统提供了获得这种变化的一种方法,所述轴承系统公开在标题为“内燃机用电机辅助涡轮增压器的轴承系统”,并于1999年1月12日出版的US专利5857332中。然而,希望产生一种提高效率和强度的转子和轴承系统,以适应涡轮增压器中的辅助电机系统。
发明内容
包含本发明的转子和轴承系统的涡轮增压器包括装在涡轮壳体中收集内燃机废气的涡轮。涡轮通过惰性气体保护焊或类似方法连接到轴上,并包括轮毂部分,该轮毂部分包括与涡轮增压器中间壳体接合的活塞密封。压缩机叶轮在远离涡轮的另一端安装到轴上,并安置在压缩机壳体内,所述叶轮收集进入的空气并包括扩压器和涡壳,以将压缩机的增压空气输送到发动机吸气系统。邻近涡轮轮毂的轴的轴承部分包括两个由直径变小部分分隔开的轴承凸缘。该凸缘与装在中间壳体轴承孔中的销接半浮动单体轴承面接。单体轴承包括与涡轮轮毂接合的第一止推轴承面。隔离轴衬支承电机的永久磁体,该磁体被放置在由与涡轮轮毂相对的轴承部分延伸出的轴的隔离轴衬部分上,该单体轴承包括与隔离轴衬接合的第二止推面。隔离轴衬还包括与中间壳体接合的活塞密封。隔离轴衬与压缩机叶轮接合以保持转子固定的长度。

具体实施方式
参照附图,包含本发明的涡轮增压器10包括安装到中间壳体14上的涡轮壳体12。利用后挡板18将压缩机壳体16安装到中间壳体上,压缩机壳体包括电机壳体的第一部分和电机壳体铸件20。附图中,涡轮壳体通过螺栓22安装到中间壳体上,同时中间壳体通过螺栓24安装到电机壳体铸件上,电机壳体铸件通过螺栓26安装到后挡板上,后挡板通过螺栓28安装到压缩机壳体上。电机壳体的密封是通过O型环30完成的。包含本发明的涡轮增压器的其它实施例使用了包括V型带夹的其它紧固装置。
涡轮增压器的转子具有装在涡轮壳体中的涡轮32。废气通过涡壳34进入涡轮壳体流过涡轮叶片并通过出口36排出。涡轮包括轮毂部分38,该部分包括槽40,以便卡住活塞环42。活塞环与中间壳体通孔上的凸缘44接合,从而提供密封防止润滑油流入涡轮壳体和排气系统。在图示的实施例中,隔热垫46嵌在涡轮壳体和中间壳体之间,用于加强热气流动力学控制。

单体轴承包括与涡轮轮毂接合的第一止推面86和与隔离轴衬接合的第二止推面88。本发明的轴承布置适应电机所需的额外转子长度。此外,带有完整止推面的销接半浮动轴承组合为电机运行期间磁体和定子产生的负弹簧力提供了反作用力矩。止推面和销接单体轴承的反作用力矩的单独效果是互补的,提供了比每个反作用力单独作用效果更强的性能。

Claims (3)

1.一种内燃机涡轮增压器的转子和轴承,包括:
涡轮,该涡轮装在涡轮壳体中收集内燃机的废气,并包括轮毂部分,该轮毂部分连接到穿过中间壳体的轴上;
压缩机叶轮,该叶轮连接到与涡轮相对的轴上,并安置在压缩机壳体内;
邻近涡轮轮毂的轴的轴承部分,该轴承部分包括两个由直径变小部分分隔开的轴承凸缘,该凸缘容纳在装在中间壳体轴承孔中的销接半浮动单体轴承中,该单体轴承包括与涡轮轮毂接合的第一止推轴承面;
