背景技术
表示A/V(音频/视频)信息的实时流、如MPEG(活动图像编码标准)编码的传输流的数字信息信号包括发射位置的时基信息。在MPEG编码的传输流的情况下,时基信息是由在传输包(TP)内定期发送的程序时钟基准(PCR)信号指定的。这种时基信息用来把接收位置的本地时钟锁定于发射位置的时钟上。但是,这种时基信息并不是随着每个传输包(TP)一起发送的。结果,在启动时,本地时钟可能尚未被此时基信息锁定。这意味着,关于锁定前到达的传输包(TP),不知道在哪个时刻必须对这些传输包(TP)解码[在带有解码时标(DTS)的存取单元(AU)的情况下]或者将其表示出来[在带有表示时标(PTS)的存取单元(AU)的情况下]。

按照本发明的第一个方面,一种产生包含音频/视频信息的接收的信息信号包实时序列的包到达时标的方法,连续的所述实时序列在多个信息信号包的各个间隔上包括程序时钟基准信息、以便利用所述程序时钟基准信息锁定本地系统时间计数器,所述方法包括:利用由系统时钟控制的包到达时间计数器来产生每个包的包到达时标;以及,把相应的包到达时标加在所接收的信息信号包上,其特征在于:在接收第一个信息信号包之前把所述包到达时间计数器设置在任意值;暂时存储所述序列的所述第一个信息信号包的所述包到达时标并且所述第一个信息信号包含程序时钟基准信息;确定在所述各包到达时标之间所述本地系统时间计数器的计数;从所述程序时钟基准值减去这个数以便检索系统时间计数器起始值。

具体实施方式
图1说明MPEG传输包(TS包)的序列。所述序列从第一TS包1开始。TS包2构成已编码的存取单元3,在由相应的表示时标(PTS)指定的时间,把存取单元3表示成解码的表示单元4。在接收位置如27MHz的PLL(锁相环)的本地系统时钟被锁定于此数据流中包含的时基信息之前,接收此存取单元3。首先随着TP包5接收这个程序时钟基准(PCR)。由于表示时标(PTS)表明第一程序时钟基准(PCR)到达之前的时间间隔,因此不知道应该何时表示所述表示单元4。
图2说明MPEG传输包(TS包)的数据流中的间断。TS包的第一序列6之后接着是TS包的第二序列7。每个序列有其自己的时基信息或者程序时钟基准(PCR)。这种情况可能发生在数据流编辑之后。因此包到达时间计数器是不连续的。由第一序列的TS包8构成的最后一个存取单元(AU)被与来自第二序列的其他表示单元10、11和12无缝地表示为表示单元9。但是,第二序列7的带有程序时钟基准(PCR)的第一TS包是以TS包13到达的,而要被表示的TS包14是先前接收的。因此,本地系统时钟尚未锁定在第二序列的PCR上。

在启动过程中,APAT计数器20从任意值开始。APAT时标被附加于每个接收的TS包。时标表示TS包的到达时间。序列的第一个TS包的APAT[起始]时标以及包含程序时钟基准(PCR)的TS包的APAT[PCR]时标暂时存储在存储装置中。通过从APAT[PCR]中减去APAT[起始]来计算两个时标之间的27MHz周期数。用这个差值,通过从第一个接收的PCR值减去这个差值来计算系统时间计数器的开始值(STC-START)。STC-START是STC-计数器17若从开始就被锁定而将具有的值。在把MPEG流存储在记录媒体、如盘上时,最好把STC-START当作段属性来存储。
图4表示按照本发明、在序列启动时重放传输包的实例。所示为无规律地接收到的TS包21,TS包21的到达时间由APAT时标给定。在重放期间,TS包之间的定时应该在数字接口上保持恒定。起始段22不需要从程序时钟基准(PCR)开始,稍后会随TS包23来接收这个信息。程序时钟基准(PCR)信息的重复频率可为100ms、建议为40ms一次。接收的TS包21暂存在平滑缓冲器24中。这导致直到由包括相应的TS包21的存取单元(AU)26所给定的表示单元(PU)25出现为止的启动延时。应该指出,如果要保持数据流的APAT定时,就需要这种延时。

图7表示用于记录表示传输包的接收信息信号、带有输入端34和记录装置35的记录设备。包检测器36检测接收的传输包和嵌入的程序时钟基准(PCR)信号的到达。时标发生器15,如参照图3公开的,利用其本地系统时间计数器锁定在程序时钟基准(PCR)信号上。在启动时,时标发生器15设置在任意值,以便如参照图3公开的,设置本地系统时间计数器。所产生的时标、连同系统时间计数器起始值(STC-START)与接收的传输包组合成组合单元38。用信道编码装置39对组合的信号进行信道编码并通过写装置41存储在记录载体上。记录载体可以是盘状类型的,这样,它可以通过旋转装置42来旋转驱动,同时,通过转移装置43在径向上移动记录写射束。记录载体40可以是光学类型的,如可记录小型光盘(CD)、数字视盘(DVD)。在这种情况下,写装置41产生用于写入的激光束并且包括适当的聚焦装置。在另一实施例中,记录载体40可以是磁类型的、如磁盘。
图8表示适合于以适当的读装置44、用读射束来扫描按照本发明的方法记录的记录媒体40的再现装置。在记录载体40是光学类型的、如CD、DVD的情况下,读装置包括激光束和相应的聚焦装置以扫描记录载体40。检测信号被信道解码装置45解码。解码后的带有时标的传输包被供给多路分解装置46以从传输包中分离时标。把时标提供给比较器装置38。把时标发生装置37、如参照图5的公开所产生的产生时标值也提供给这个比较器装置8。把所记录的系统时钟起始值(STC-start)发送到时标发生装置37、用来在需要时、按照本发明的方法把时标计数器锁定在这个值。产生的时标值与记录和抽取的时标值比较。当都一致时,把存储在缓冲存储器4 7中的相应的传输包发送到输出装置48,以在输出端49产生传输包的实时流。
如以前提到的,传输包可包括实时A/V信息。组合的记录与再现设备,如分别参照图7、图8所描述的,可以用作基于盘的视频记录器。为用户方便起见,它允许用户在记录的A/V程序中的关键点上设置标记,以便指明关键场景、商业目的等等。这些关键点一般被选作视频入口点,如MPEG2的I帧。但是,要使重放设备能对这些点的视频解码,需要附加的信息。
应当指出,在相应的国际标准ISO/IEC 13818中可以找到MPEG2格式的完整描述。I-帧是可以被彼此独立地解码的帧内编码的帧、这与P帧相反,P帧是预测编码的并且需要前一个P帧或者I帧。进一步可区别B帧或者双向帧,它们需要在前的和后续的I或P帧来编码。
通过存储带有标记点的附加信息以允许在标记点解码来获得有利的实施例。如果不这样做,可能在正确解码开始之前要花费一些时间(1-2秒)并且不能正确显示这一部分视频。
对于MPEG2传输流,标记点应该存储以下信息:入口点的程序时钟基准(PCR)、I帧的表示时标(PTS)、I帧的解码时标(DTS)和关于数据流的映射的包标识(PID)。这种信息使解码器能从标记点开始正确解码。
为了进行特技播放,即根据如上所述的MPEG2类型的数字视频流以不同于正常重放速度的速度来再现视频,需要抽取仅仅部分的视频流和对其解码,而丢弃剩余的。在许多情况下,例如用DVD,对所需数据的开头和结尾都设置指示器,而不用分析数据流。下面就未存储所需数据的结尾、再现设备必须分析数据流以找出哪一部分应该被弃用的情况,讨论有利的方法和实施例。
如果再现设备不知道数据流中特技播放信息的结尾在何处,则简单的方法是读取从该起点到下一起点的整个流数据。这增加了执行特技播放所要求的设备存储器的量,并且增加了对记录载体的性能要求。下面公开的有利方法和实施例提供了一种减少需要从记录载体读取和存储在设备存储器中的数据的量的方法。
考虑两种类型的特技播放。第一种是仅从数据流中读取I帧,而另一种是读取I帧和某些P帧。假定存储了I帧的起始位置但没有存储结尾位置,并且没有任何P帧点。
该有利的实施例和方法潜在的基本理解是,不是读取整个图像组(GOP)以得到I帧,而是根据对I帧的大小的估计仅读取GOP的一部分。在MPEG2格式中定义了图像组(GOP),后者包括至少一个I帧和一个或一个以上的P或B帧。例如,在DVD盘的区中,平均的I帧大小可能为28个扇区而平均的GOP大小可能为199个扇区。这导致选择读出GOP的四分之一(50个扇区)以得到I帧。这几乎是平均值的两倍,所以这在最差的情况下也是足够的。所用的估计应该基于对广播流的测量并且可有别于HDTV流和SD流。
与I帧同样的方法对于用P帧的特技播也起作用。在这种情况下,要读取的GOP的百分比会大一些。
根据用于特技播放的特征点信息,例如在申请号为EP99/08285(PHN17161)的国际专利申请中公开的,I帧和下一I帧的表示时标(PTS)是已知的。这使得能计算GOP中的帧的数目。这可有利地用来修正对每种特定的GOP结构的一般估计。
关于这种方法,在某些情况下可能出现整个I帧不能被读取。如果偶尔发生这种情况,是没问题的。这仅意味着要降低特技播放的刷新速率。
如果读取带有一贯比所估计的大些的I帧的数据流,会导致难看的特技播放表现。为避免这个问题,使算法自适应。例如,如果发现在给定的时间段内两个I帧大于所估计的,则增加读取的GOP的百分比。如果持续发生这种情况,则再次提高读取的GOP的百分比。这种算法应该非常快地找到足够大的值。还有可能自适应地减小读取的数据量。如果在没有B帧的数据流中把P帧用于特技播放,这可能特别有用。
具体的编码器和具体的数据流往往在他们使用的图像的相对尺寸上是非常有规则的。而且编码器一般维持固定的GOP大小。因此,这种自适应的方法应该在实用上非常有效。使用特征点信息(CPI)中的表示时标(PTS)时间来计算GOP中图像的数量保证了这种方法也适用于不规则的GOP结构。
另一方面,可以在记录期间分析数据流以找出I结尾,并且可以存储关于特技播放要读取的GOP百分比、以获得I帧。这个值可以用作更差情况的大小或者用作大到足以确保在95%或99%的情况下得出整个I帧的值。
这种方法对于单个程序中的多个视频流也同样适用。在这种情况下,要读取的GOP的百分比是相同的,但实际量会大些。
图9表示编码的MPEG2数据流53的实例,箭头50指明存储在特征点信息(CPI)中的入口点。在不知道I结束点的情况下,按照本发明的再现设备在特技播放期间不需要读取、直至下一个入口点50。应当指出,所读的数据量51取决于GOP中的数据量。
下面将讨论一个有利的实施例以处理在接收信息信号包、如MPEG2传输流时、记录设备中的包标识(PID)改变。这可能发生在例如基于MPEG2传输流的数字TV广播中。包标识(PID)用于在多个数据流的情况下标识不同的数据流。例如,有用于视频的PID、用于音频的PID、用于定时信息的PID以及用于图文广播信息的PID。在单个程序中有多个视频流或音频流的广播的情况下,会有用于每个视频流和用于每个音频流的PID。在数字TV广播期间,PID可能变化,或者新PID代替旧PID,或者在PID与数据流的对应关系上变化。PID映射方面的变化借助MPEG传输流中程序关系表(PAT)和程序映射表(PMT)来信号化。因此如果把数字TV广播处理成数据流,则解码设备会知道何时PID变化并且会知道新的PID映射。
应该指出,按照MPEG2标准,程序关系表(PAT)把程序标识映射到其程序传输流。PAT指明包含用于某个程序的程序映射表(PMT)的比特流的PID。
问题是当记录了数字TV信号时,并不总是完全从头到尾重放它。重放设备可能在(随机访问的)数据流内跳转,或者它可能仅选择要解码的数据流的部分(特技播放)。因此,重放设备在它开始对数据流解码之前可能不知道PID映射已改变。例如,在特技播放期间,音频一般被从数据流中滤除。如果正确的PID映射是未知的,则不可能滤除音频,并且在某些情况下,它可能导致反而滤除视频(如果交换音频和视频PID)。而且记录设备可由于编辑而引入附加的PID变化。
按照本发明的方法和实施例包括存储关于记录的元数据、以便记录PID变化的点。而且存储新的PID映射。对于每次PID变化,至少应该存储下列信息:
1)数据流内PID变化的时间;
2)数据流内PID变化的位置,例如通过指出其中使用新PID的传输流(TS)包;
3)程序号;
4)程序时钟基准(PCR)PID;
5)视频PID;
6)音频PID。
在多个视频流或多个音频流的情况下,应该存储各个数据流之间的对应关系。例如,这可以做成隐含的。结构中的数据流的次序定义它们的对应关系。
图10说明在PID变化(55)之后,随机访问音频或视频流(54)、如MPEG2传输流的情况。当重放设备跳转到数据流中的入口点56时,它需要知道PID映射以开始对数据解码和表示。定义PID映射的PAT/PMT表在数据流内是重复的,但是它们一般不会刚好出现在入口点之前。通过查找记录PID变化的元数据,重放设备可看出用于这一部分的程序的正确PID是什么,并因此正确地对数据流进行多路复用和解码。在多个视频流或多个音频流的情况下,如果适用的话,重放设备可以确保它提供正确对应于以前显示的那个的视频流。如果该数据流正在经由数字接口发送,则重放设备可使用元数据来插入新的PAT和PMT表以指明新的PID映射。
图11说明在PAT/PMT表改变58之后、音频或视频流57的特技播放。以部分59来表示要再现的特技播放数据。定义P ID映射的元数据使重放设备能滤除非视频流并且确保在多个视频流的情况下特技播放使用正确的视频流。如果特技播放流正在经由接口送出,则可在重放期间重新映射视频PID,然后,当恢复正常播放时,重放设备可以插入新PAT和PMT以表示新的PID映射。
尽管已参照本发明的最佳实施例描述了本发明,但是应该明白,这些不是限定性的实例。因此,只要不背离本发明由权利要求书定义的范围,其各种修改对于本专业的技术人员可变得清楚。本发明可以借助硬件和软件两者来实现,并且几个“装置”可能以同一项硬件来代表。而且,本发明在于每一项新颖特征或几项特征的结合。还应指出,词“包括”不排除权利要求中所列之外的其他组成部分或步骤的出现。任何标号不限定权利要求的范围。

Claims (1)

1.一种用于在记录载体上记录包含音频/视频信息的信息信号包实时序列的方法,连续的所述实时序列在多个信息信号包的各个间隔上包括程序时钟基准信息、以便利用所述程序时钟基准信息锁定本地系统时间计数器,其中的设备包括:
用于接收所述信息信号包的接收装置;
用于产生对应于所述信息信号包的到达时间的时标的时标发生装置;
用于在所述记录载体上记录所述产生的时标和信息信号包的写装置,所述时标发生装置配备有锁定于接收的所述程序时钟基准信息的系统时间计数器,
其特征在于:
所述时标发生装置适合于按照以下步骤产生包到达时标:
利用从所述本地系统时间计数器得出的包到达时间计数器来确定每个包的所述包到达时间;以及
把相应的包到达时标加在所接收的信息信号包上,
其中,
在接收第一个信息信号包之前把所述包到达时间计数器设置在任意值;
暂时存储所述序列的所述第一个信息信号包的所述包到达时标并且所述第一个信息信号包含程序时钟基准信息;
确定在所述各包到达时标之间所述本地系统时间计数器的计数;
从所述程序时钟基准值减去这个数以便检索系统时间计数器起始值;
记录包含音频/视频信息的信息信号包实时序列。
