Abstract

Kniegelenkstütze (2), umfassend eine im wesentlichen halbkreisförmige obere Manschette (8), gestaltet zum Herumlegen um einen Abschnitt am Bein des Trägers oberhalb des Knies; eine im wesentlichen halbkreisförmige untere Manschette (10), gestaltet zum Herumlegen um einen Abschnitt am Bein des Trägers unterhalb des Knies; und mindestens ein erstes Beugungs-/Streckungsdrehgelenk (24), das obere und untere Manschette bewegend miteinander verbindet, wobei das Beugungs-/Streckungsdrehgelenk die obere und die untere Manschette befähigt, sich relativ zueinander zu verschwenken, wenn das Knie des Trägers sich beugt oder streckt, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass zwischen dem Beugungs-/Streckungsdrehgelenk und einer der beiden Manschetten mindestens eine erste Winkeleinstellanordnung (4, 4') positioniert ist und diese und eine der beiden Manschetten bewegend miteinander verbindet; und dass ein Kondylenpolster (26) wirksam an einer Innenseite des Beugungs-/Streckungsdrehgelenks befestigt ist, wobei das Kondylenpolster das Knie des Trägers berührt; und dass die Einstellung der Winkeleinstellanordnung das Ausüben einer Kraft durch das Kondylenpolster auf das Knie des Trägers verursacht,...

Claims (10)

  1. Kniegelenkstütze (2), umfassend eine im wesentlichen halbkreisförmige obere Manschette (8), gestaltet zum Herumlegen um einen Abschnitt am Bein des Trägers oberhalb des Knies; eine im wesentlichen halbkreisförmige untere Manschette (10), gestaltet zum Herumlegen um einen Abschnitt am Bein des Trägers unterhalb des Knies; und mindestens ein erstes Beugungs-/Streckungsdrehgelenk (24), das obere und untere Manschette bewegend miteinander verbindet, wobei das Beugungs-/Streckungsdrehgelenk die obere und die untere Manschette befähigt, sich relativ zueinander zu verschwenken, wenn das Knie des Trägers sich beugt oder streckt, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass zwischen dem Beugungs-/Streckungsdrehgelenk und einer der beiden Manschetten mindestens eine erste Winkeleinstellanordnung (4, 4') positioniert ist und diese und eine der beiden Manschetten bewegend miteinander verbindet; und dass ein Kondylenpolster (26) wirksam an einer Innenseite des Beugungs-/Streckungsdrehgelenks befestigt ist, wobei das Kondylenpolster das Knie des Trägers berührt; und dass die Einstellung der Winkeleinstellanordnung das Ausüben einer Kraft durch das Kondylenpolster auf das Knie des Trägers verursacht, wobei die Kraft den Kontakt und den Druck zwischen sich gegenüberliegenden Knochenkondylen im Knie verändert und dadurch den durch diesen Kontakt und diesen Druck verursachten osteoarthritischen Schmerz mildert.
  2. Kniegelenkstütze (2) nach Anspruch 1, ferner umfassend eine zweite Winkeleinstellanordnung (4, 4'), die zwischen dem Beugungs-/Streckungsdrehgelenk (24) und der anderen der beiden Manschetten (8, 10) positioniert ist und diese bewegend miteinander verbindet.
  3. Kniegelenkstütze (2) nach Anspruch 1, wobei die Winkeleinstellanordnung (4, 4') einen Drehgelenkbolzen (28) und zumindest einen daran verschwenkbaren ersten Drehgelenkflügel (30) umfasst.
  4. Kniegelenkstütze (2) nach Anspruch 3, wobei die Winkeleinstellanordnung (4, 4') ferner ein Gewindeglied (46) umfasst.
  5. Kniegelenkstütze (2) nach Anspruch 4, wobei das Gewindeglied (46) ein Ende (47) mit einer ein Werkzeug aufnehmender Ausnehmung (52) umfasst, die für die Aufnahme eines separaten Einstellwerkzeugs angepasst ist.
  6. Kniegelenkstütze (2) nach Anspruch 4, wobei das Gewindeglied (46) in den Drehgelenkbolzen (28) eingreift.
  7. Kniegelenkstütze (2) nach Anspruch 6, wobei eine Drehung des Gewindeglieds (46) eine relative Drehung des Drehgelenkbolzens (28) und des Drehgelenkflügels (30) verursacht.
  8. Kniegelenkstütze (2) nach Anspruch 3, wobei ein vom Dreh gelenkbolzen (28) beabstandeter Abschnitt des Drehgelenkflügels (30) mit der einen der beiden Manschetten bewegend verbunden ist.
  9. Kniegelenkstütze (2) nach Anspruch 1, ferner eine Mehrzahl flexibler Bänder (16, 18, 18') umfassend, welche die Stütze formschlüssig auf dem Bein des Trägers positionieren.
  10. Kniegelenkstütze (2) nach Anspruch 1, wobei das Beugungs-/Streckungsdrehgelenk (24) erste und zweite Drehgelenkbolzen (72, 76) umfasst.
