Abstract
Die Erfindung betrifft eine intraokulare Linseneinrichtung, die insbesondere zur Behandlung von Erkrankungen der zentralen Netzhaut (Makula) mit noch gesunden Netzhautarealen eingesetzt wird. DOLLAR A Das Hauptprinzip der vorliegenden Erfindung besteht darin, dass zur Verschiebung des Brennpunktes von einem funktionsbeeinträchtigten Bereich der Netzhaut zu einem funktionsfähigen Bereich eine Linseneinrichtung vorgesehen ist, die mindestens ein konvexes Linsenelement und mehrere keilförmige Ausnehmungen umfasst. DOLLAR A Überraschenderweise wurde gefunden, dass eine deutliche Reduktion der Dicke der Linseneinrichtung dadurch erzielbar ist, das mehrere keilförmige Ausnehmungen vorgesehen sind.
