-brennstoffes zu erschweren, kann dieser mit Wasser emulgiert werden«, Man erhält dabei eine Emulsion„. in der die Kraft- bzwo
BrennstofSteilchen durch Wasser voneinander getrennt sind0
Aufgabe der Erfindung ist es, eine neue wässrige Emulsion von
Kohlenwasserstoffkraft- bzw0 -brennstoffen zur Verfügung zu
stellen, die gute Eigenschaften bezüglich des Fließverhaltens und des Brechens der Emulsion besitzt und außerdem bei niedrigen
Temperaturen, Z0B0 bei-29°C, noch pumpfähig isto
Die Erfindung betrifft somit Kraft- und Brennstoffemulsionen
auf der Basis von flüssigen Kohlenwasserstoffen, die dadurch gekennzeichnet sind, daß sie mindestens 75 Gewo-#, bezogen auf die
Emulsion, eines flüssigen Kohlenwasserstoffkraft- bzw, -brennstoff
es als disperse Phase, Wasser als kontinuierliche Phase,
sowie einen wasserlöslichen, aschefreien Gefrierpunktserniedriger,
einen Emulgator und 0,3 bis 10 ßewo-S£, bezogen auf die
Emulsion, Harnstoff enthalten»
Der Kohlenwasserstoffkraft- oder -brennstoff, nachstehend einfach als "Kraft- oder Brennstoff" bezeichnet, kann ein Kraftstoff für Flugzeug-, wie Düsen- oder Flugturbinen-„ Automobil-?

Emulsionen der Erfindung,, Der Anteil der Kraft- bzwe Brennstoffkomponente der Emulsionen der Erfindung beträgt vorzugsweise
über 90 tJewo-?S, insbesondere über 95 Gtew„-$, bezogen auf die
Emulsion« Der bevorzugte Maximalgehalt der Emulsion an, der
Kraft- bzw ο Brennstoffkomponente beträgt 98,5 S
Man darf dem Kraft- bzw. Brennstoff keinen übermäßig hohen Anteil Wasser einverleibeno Der Anteil des Wassers beträgt zweckmäßig 0,75 bis 12 GeWo-#, vorzugsweise 0,75 bis 3 Gewo-#, bezogen auf die 6-esamt-Emulsiono
Die erfindungsgemäßen Emulsionen können die verschiedensten bekannten Emulgatoren enthaltene Torzugsweise verwendet man einen
Emulgator oder eli, Emulgatorgemisch mit einem HIB-Wert von 11
bis 16 (siehe die Zeitschrift "J0 Soc Cosmetic Chemistry", Dezember 1948, Seite 419)«
Der Emulgator ist zweckmäßig ein'aus 5 bis 15 Hol eines Alkylen
oxyds pro Mol eines Alkylphenols hergestelltes Kondensationspro
dukte Beispiele von für zur Herstellung dieser Kondensationspro dukte geeigneter Alkylphenole sind Alkylphenole mit 5 bis 15
C-Atomen, vorzugsweise ein Octyl-, Nonyl- oder Dodecylphenolo
Beispiele für geeignete Alkylenoxyde sind Äthylenoxyd und Eropy

Es wurde festgestellt, daß Harnstoff eine überraschende VirkSAM-lceit in Bezug auf die Stabilität der Emulsion der Erfindung besitzt ο Dies ist aus Tabelle II ersichtlich, in der Harnstoff mit
anderen Emulsionsstabilisatoren verglichen wird0 Die Emulsion
der Erfindung kann vorzugsweise O9 3 bis 5 Gewo-#, insbesondere
0,3 bis 0,7 GeWo-# Harnstoff enthalten,
Beispiele für verwendbare wasserlösliche asehefreie Grefrierpunktserni.edriger sind Ammoniuasalee, wie Ammoniumnitrat, oder
mehrwertige Alkohole, wie Glylcol oder Glycerinc Anmoniuanitrat
wird als Gefrierpunkt θ erniedriger bevorzugt o Der Anteil des
&efrlerpunktsernledrigers kann bis zu 10 OeW0-^9 bezogen auf die
Emulsion, betrageno Vorzugsweise beträgt dieser Anteil 0,3 bie
5 GteWo-^, insbesondere 0,3 bis 0,7 GheWo-^o Eine besonders überraschende Stabilität zeigt eine Kraft- bzw«, Brennstoff emulsion,
die jeweils 0,3 bis 0,7 Gewo-^ Ammoniumnitrat bzw» Harnstoff enthält»
Sie Kraft- bzw0 Brennstoff emulsionen der Erfindung können weitere Zusätze, wie Korrosionsinhibitoren und Antistatika enthaltene

Die Korrosionsinhibitoren können wegen des in den Emulsionen der Erfindung vorhandenen Wassers erforderlich sein. Ein Zusatz
von Spuren von z.B. Äthylendiamin wirkt der Korrosion von Elsen
entgegenο Weitere Beispiele für Korrosionsinhibitoren sind Glycerin und Glykole Man kann auch andere Korrosionsinhibitoren,
wie Alkylbernsteinsäuren oder deren Anhydride, Z0B0 Dodecylbernsteinsäure oder deren Anhydrid, in geeigneten Anteilen verwenden. Der Anteil des Korrosionsinhibitors beträgt gewöhnlich bis
zu 1,0
Ein emulgierter Kraftstoff (Emulsion I) besitzt die nachstehende
Zusammensetzung:

1 Volo-£ Wasser, 1 Qewo-£ Emulgator Α., 0,5 Gevo-£ Ammoniumnitrat
und einem der in Tabelle II aufgeführten Stabilisatoren.

Claims (1)
