Die Erfindung betrifft eine Hufeisenbefestigung ohne Nägel. Dieselbe besteht aus einem den Huf umfassenden und an der Hinterseite angezogenen metallenen Tragbande, an dem Stahlbänder befestigt sind, die einen unter dem Hufe liegenden und durch Schraubenbolzen mit dem eigentlichen Hufeisen zu verbindenden Zwischenreifen gegen die Hufsohle anziehen. Die Befestigung besteht in, einem um den Huf in der Höhe des Austritts der bis jetzt eingeschlagenen Nägel angeordneten elastischen Stahlbande a, das am hinteren Hufende beiderseits umgebogen, durch eine Schraube b oder auf eine sonst praktische Weise angezogen wird. An diesem Bande α gehen fest angeschlossen die Streifen c aus demselben Material nach unten und tragen das Eisen d, das von derselben Form des eigentlichen Hufeisens ist und an der unteren Fläche des Hufes anliegt. Dies Tragen geschieht in der Zeichnung (Fig. 5 und 6) dadurch, daß die Streifen c winklig umgebogen sind und das Eisen d zwischen sich fassen. Auch sind die Enden der Streifen rechtwinklig nach unten gebogen und geben dem an das Eisen anzulegenden eigentlichen Hufeisen e die richtige Lage (Fig. 1, 2, 3 und 4). Das letztere wird durch die eingelassenen Schrauben f (Fig. 5) mit dem Eisen d verschraubt, wobei zu beachten ist, daß diese Schrauben zu gleicher Zeit durch die umgebogenen Streifen c gehen und diese dadurch bei der Anschraubung des Hufeisens e fest zusammenpressen. Zur leichteren Anlegung besitzt das Eisen d die festen Stifte g, die in bezügliche Löcher des Hufeisens passen (Fig. 4). Besitzt. das Hufeisen an sich keine Stollen, sondern nur eingeschraubte Stollen (Fig. 6), so vertreten diese Stollen die Schrauben f, wobei alsdann zu berücksichtigen ist, daß sie bei der Anschraubung in eine richtige Stellung zum Hufeisen zu stehen kommen. Die Fig. 7 soll eine andere Anziehung der Befestigung an Stelle der Schraube b (Fig. 1, 3 und 4) andeuten. Sie besteht darin, daß die Enden des Bandes α umgebogen sind und beide durch ein festes, leicht lösliches Stahlband h umklammert werden. Wie ersichtlich, sind solche Anziehungen, auch noch in anderer Weise möglich. To make it easier to put on, the iron d has fixed pins g that fit into the holes in the horseshoe (Fig. 4). Bei Betrachtung dieser Hufeisenbefestigung ergibt sich, daß der Huf in keiner Weise in Mitleidenschaft gezogen wird, demnach Beschädigungen nicht mehr vorkommen können. Dadurch, daß das Gerüst, gebildet, aus dem Stahlbande α und den Streifen c in Verbindung mit dem Eisen d, den Huf in seiner konischen Form vollkommen umfaßt und an der Hinterseite nur zusammengezogen ist, ist ein Abstreifen, überhaupt ein Losgehen sowohl seitlich wie nach vorn, hinten und unten ausgeschlossen. Aber ebenso ist ein Beschädigen, ein Zusammendrücken des Hufes ausgeschlossen, denn die Befestigung liegt an den stärksten Hufteilen an, also gerade bis da, wo jetzt die Nägel eingetrieben und umgeschlagen werden Hierzu kommt die ungemein leichte Anbringung und Abnahme des Hufeisens. Die erstere geschieht leicht und an jedem Orte. Ist eine Auswechslung nötig, so werden nur die Schrauben f gelöst, und nach Abnahme des Hufeisens das neue, in Reserve gehaltene Hufeisen aufgeschraubt. Zeigt sich, daß das Hufeisen durch Verschleiß auch die Köpfe der Schrauben f angegriffen, so daß eine Außenlösung nicht möglich ist, so wird die Befestigung durch Lösung der Schraube b abgenommen, und können alsdann die Schrauben f durch Drehung von innen (Fig. 5 und 6) bzw. das Hufeisen e weggenommen werden. Soll sich bei dieser Abnahme herausstellen, daß der Huf an seiner unteren Fläche durch das Wachstum etwas uneben geworden ist, so ist die Unebenheit in leichter und einfacher Weise schnell zu beseitigen, indem man den Huf, wie auch jetzt üblich, schneidet. Die Anordnung des neuen Hufeisens erfolgt alsdann durch Anlage auf dieses Eisen und seine Verschraubung wie vorhin angegeben.When looking at this horseshoe attachment, the result is that the hoof is not affected in any way, so damage can no longer occur.
