Kontaktlinse mit hydrophiler Beschichtung
Die Erfindung betrifft weiche und harte Kontaktlinsen mit einer ionischen Ladung an der Oberfläche, die mit einer Linsenlösung
behandelt worden sind, welche ein entgegengeladenes ionisches Polymer enthält, und wobei ein hydrophiler Polyelektrolyt-Komplex
an der Linsenoberfläche gebildet wird, der als Hydrogel wirkt und die Eigenschaften der Linse verbessert.
Es ist seit langem bekannt, dass Kontaktlinsen Oberflächen haben müssen, die in gewissem Masse hydrophil sind, damit sie
von den Tränen benetzt werden und unverschleierte Sicht gewähren.

Weiche, hydrophile Kontaktlinsen sind nicht nur befeuehtbar sondern für den Träger auch angenehm im Tragen, aber sie
haben den Nachteil, dass sie gewisse Sehfehler, wie Astigmatismus, nicht korrigieren können, weil sie sich der Form
der Hornhautoberfläche anpassen.
Hydrophile Monomere können zu einer Mischung von Comonomeren bei der Bildung von Kontaktlinsen zugegeben werden, so dass
bei der Polymerisation optisch klare Kontaktlinsen gebildet werden, die in einem gewissen Masse hydrophil sind. Nimmt
der Gehalt an hydrophilem Monomer, welches der Linsenzusammensetzung zugegeben wird, zu, so werden dadurch die physikalischen
Eigenschaften der Linse durch die erhöhte Hydrationsneigung der polymeren Zusammensetzung beeinflusst.
Es sind einige Fälle bekannt, bei denen man Kontaktlinsen mit polymerisierbaren hydrophilen Monomeren behandelte, um an
der Oberfläche eine Beschichtung aus aufgepfropftem hydrophilen
Polymeren auf eine an sich hydrophobe Polymeroberfläche aufzubringen. Diese Methode ist zwar wirksam, um die hydrophilen
Eigenschaften der Linsenoberfläche zu erhöhen, aber sie ist nur schwierig bei der Herstellung durchzuführen.
Die bekannten harten und weichen Kontaktlinsen halten manchmal Wasser an ihrer Oberfläche durch sekundäre chemische Bindungen
zurück und deshalb findet sich eine nur sehr dünne Schicht von Wassermolekülen zwischen dem Auge und der Kontaktlinse.
Weiche Linsen sind von sich aus bequem aber sie leiden ebenso wie harte Kontaktlinsen an einer kurzen Oberflächentrockenheit
zwischen dem Augenzwinkern. Der Stand der Technik lehrt, dass man wasserlösliche neutrale Polymere auf die Oberfläche

von harten Kontaktlinsen aufbringen kann, um eine "Polster"-Schicht
zwischen der Linse und dem Auge aufzubringen, die eine verbesserte Befeuchtbarkeit bewirkt und für den Träger
angenehmer und tolerierbarer ist.
Die Verteilung der "Polster"-Schicht erfolgt bei den meisten Konstruktionen des Standes der Technik schnell, weil nur
eine geringe spezifische Reaktion zwischen dem beweglichen Polymer in dieser Schicht und der Linsenoberfläche erfolgt.
Deshalb ist dies für den Träger unbequem und er muss die Linsenoberfläche
neu beschichten.
Es ist eine Aufgabe der Erfindung, harte oder weiche Kontaktlinsen
aus synthetischen Polymeren, deren Oberfläche eine dünne Schicht aus einem Polyelektrolyt-Komplex aufweist, zur
Verfügung zu stellen, wobei die Polyelektrolyt-Komplex-Schicht elektrostatisch an die Linsenoberflache gebunden ist.
Eine weitere Aufgabe der Erfindung ist es, ein Verfahren zu zeigen, mittels dem man eine Kontaktlinse mit einer ionischen
Oberfläche versehen kann, die mit dem Auge verträglicher ist, indem man die Linse in eine Lösung eines eine Gegenladung tragenden
ionischen Polymers eintaucht und dadurch einen dünnen Polyelektrolyt-Komplex auf der Linsenoberfläche schafft, wobei
dieser Komplex die Hydrophilität während einer längeren Zeit gegenüber einer unbehandelten Oberfläche erhöht und wodurch
die Tendenz von Mucoproteinen, einem üblichen Bestandteil der Tränen, an der Linsenoberfläche zu haften, vermindert
wird.
Die Schicht oder Beschichtung aus einem Polyelektrolyt-Komplex,
die sich durch Unsetzung der ionischen Linsenoberfläche mit
einem eine Gegenladung tragenden ionischen Polymer bildet, und

dieser Komplex bilden an der Linsenoberfläche einen Hydrogel der Wasser absorbiert, eine gute Wasserzurückhaltung aufweist
und der mit dem physiologischen Aufbau des Auges verträglich ist. Dadurch wird ein dauerhaftes "Polster" geschaffen, das
lange anhält und für das Auge angenehm ist.
Gemäss einer bevorzugten Ausführungsform ist die Linse eine
Sauerstoffdurchlässige harte Linse mit einer -ionischen Ladung oder der Möglichkeit, eine solche ionische Ladung zu haben.
Vorzugsweise wird die Linse beschichtet, indem man lediglich die Linse in eine Lösung taucht, die im wesentlichen aus
einem ionischen Polymeren besteht, das in einer Wasserlösung gelöst ist oder aus einer Wasserlösung, die lösliche organische
Komponenten enthält, welche 0,001 bis 10 Gew.% der Lösung ausmachen. Das ionische Polymer kann irgendein ionisches Polymer
sein, das mit dem Auge verträglich ist und keine Reizung des Auges bewirkt und das einen Hydrogel bildet, wenn es elektrostatisch
an die Oberfläche der Kontaktlinse gebunden wird.
Ein Merkmal der Erfindung ist es, dass eine dünne Beschichtung mit einer Dicke von 20 bis 2500 A gebildet wird, wobei
durch die Beschichtung nicht nur die Verträglichkeit der Kontaktlinse mit dem Auge verbessert wird, sondern auch eine
Polster-Wirkung zwischen der Linse und dem Auge geschaffen wird. Durch solche Beschichtungen werden Probleme, wie eine Fleckenbildung,
verhindert und ausserdem wird die Fähigkeit der Kontakt linsen, während einer Zeitdauer von 24 und mehr Stunden
getragen zu werden, erhöht.
Je nach der Konzentration der ionischen Stellen auf der Linsenoberfläche
und der Konzentration der die Gegenladung tragenden ionischen Polymeren, mit dem die Oberfläche umgesetzt
wird, können entweder benetzende, eintauchende oder schmierende

Lösungen hergestellt werden, um optimalen Tragekomfort zu
gewährleisten. Mischt man Reinigungsmittel mit der ionischen Polymerlösung, so können Mucos, Schmutz und andere unerwünschte
Ablagerungen von der entstehenden Polyelektrolyt-Komplex-Oberflache
entfernt werden.
Weiche und harte Kontaktlinsen aus synthetischen Polymeren
werden im allgemeinen aus neutralen Monomeren und/oder Polymeren hergestellt. Bei der vorliegenden Erfindung werden sowohl
weiche als auch harte Kontaktlinsen so hergestellt, dass diese ionische Stellen an der Linsenoberfläche haben und diese Stellen
können mit einer "Linsenlösung" umgesetzt werden, die ein entgegengesetzt geladenes, hydrophiles Polymer enthält.
Falls die Oberfläche der Linse polyanionisch ist, kann die Oberfläche mit einem hydrophilen Polykation umgesetzt werden, wodurch
sich ein hydrophiler Polyelektrolyt-Komplex bildet. Polyelektrolyt-Komplexe haben gleiche Mengen an Kationen und
Anionen, die jeweils von einer verschiedenen Quelle erhalten wurden. Diese insgesamt elektrisch neutralen Komplexe liegen
ausserdem als ionisch vernetzte Hydrogele vor, die wirksam Hydrationswasser zurückhalten. Bei der vorliegenden Erfindung
wird eine Oberflachenbeschichtung mit einem Polyelektrolyt-Komplex
auf der Linsenoberfläche geschaffen. Weiche Kontaktlinsen,
die vollständig aus einem Polyelektrolyt-Komplex bestehen, sind bekannt aber sie haben nicht die gewünschten Eigenschaften,
welche die erfindungsgemäss erhaltenen Linsen aufweisen.
Erfindungsgemäss ist es möglich, dass durch die Umsetzung von
ionischen Stellen auf einer Polymeroberfläche oder von potentiellen
ionischen Stellen die gleichzeitig einen niedrigmolekulargewichtigen Elektrolyt, wie Natriumchlorid, Chlorwasserstoff,
Natriumsulfat, Natriummethylsulfat oder irgendeinen anderen ähnlichen Elektrolyt abgeben, eine einschichtige Beschichtung
mit einem Polyelektrolyt-Komplex bewirkt wird.

Polyelektrolyt-Komplexe sind zwar sehr hydrophil aber wasserunlöslich
und können im allgemeinen nur mit gewissen Schwierigkeiten in ternären Lösungsmittelsystemen aus Wasser, einer
wasserlöslichen organischen Verbindung und einem niedrigmolekulargewichtigen Elektrolyten gelöst werden. Dieses Löslichkeitsverhalten
bedingt dass die erfindungsgemäss mit einem Polyelektrolyt-Komplex behandelte Oberfläche sich nur durch
die wässrige Augenflüssigkeit sehr schwer löst und von der Linsenoberfläche abtrennt, obwohl diese Oberflächebeschichtung
durch mechanische Wirkung im Auge aufgrund von Abrieb 'erudiert werden kann. Sollte ein Verbrauch des Polyelektrolyt-Komplexes
auf der Linsenoberfläche eintreten, so kann dieser leicht ersetzt werden, indem man die Linse mLt einer entsprechend
geladenen polyionischen Lösung behandelt.
Der Polyelektrolyt-Komplex auf der Linsenoberfläche kann auf
verschiedene Weise hergestellt werden. Ist eine anionische Oberfläche erwünscht, so kann man diese schaffen, indem man in
eine Linsenformulierung ein Monomer oder mehrere Monomere einbringt aus der Gruppe der Acrylat- oder Methacrylatsalze,
Vinylsulfonatsalzen, Allyl- oder Methallylsulfonat- oder -sulfatsalz, Styrolsulfonatsalz, Acryloyloxyäthyl- oder
Methacryloyloxyäthylsulfatsalz, einem substituierten Acrylamido-
oder Methacrylamidosulfonatsalz oder von entsprechenden Phosphonat-, Phosphat- und Phosphitsalzen von polymerisierbaren
Monomeren. Alternativ kann man eine potentielle anionische Oberfläche für eine anschliessende Behandlung mit einem Polykation
nach der Eliminierung einer niedrigmolekulargewichtigen Säure (wie Chlorwasserstoffsäure) schaffen oder durch anschiiessende
Behandlung mit einem neutralen basischen Polymer, wodurch man eine Säure-Base-Neutralisationsreaktion erhält. Solche
anionische Monomere schliessen Verbindungen ein, wie Acryl- und Methacrylsäure, Vinylsulfonsäure, Allyl- und Methallylsulf
onsäure oder Schwefelsäure, Styrolsulfonsäure, Acrylamido-

oder Methacrylamidosulfonsaure oder eine polymerisierbare
Phosphon- oder Phosphorsäure.
Wird eine kationische Oberfläche gewünscht, so wird diese dadurch hergestellt dass man in die Linsenzusammensetzung irgendein
quaternäres oder protoniertes Monomer oder Monomere einbringt aus der Gruppe der Acrylat- oder Methacrylatsalze,
Vinylpyridiniumsalze/ Vinylimidazoliumsalze, Vinylimidazoliniumsalze,
Vinylthiazoliumsalze, Vinylbenzylammoniumsalze, Diallyldialkylammoniumsalze
oder ähnlichen alkylierten oder protonierten polymerisierbaren Sulfonium- oder Phosphoniumsalzen.
Alternativ kann man eine potentiell kationische Oberfläche schaffen, die dann anschliessend mit einer Polysäure behandelt
wird unter Ausbildung einer Säure-Base-Neutralisationsreaktion. Solche potenitellen kationischen Monomeren schliessen
Verbindungen ein, wie Dialkylaminoäthylacrylat oder -methacrylat, "Vinylpyridin, Vinylimidazol, Vinylbenzylamin,
einen Vinylalkyläther oder ein -sulfid oder ein polymerisierbares Vinylphosphin.-
Es ist auch möglich, ionische Ladungen auf der Linsenoberfläche
durch chemische oder elektrische Modifizierung einer neutralen wiederkehrenden Monomereinheit auszubilden. Beispielsweise
erhält man eine anionische Oberfläche indem man ein Polyestermaterial, wie Polymethylmethacrylat, mit einer
wässrigen Base, wie Natriumhydroxid, behandelt, wodurch man Natriumethacrylat-Einheiten auf der Linsenoberfläche bildet.
Alternativ kann ein Polyestermaterial mit einer Säure hydrolysiert werden unter Ausbildung von Methacrylsäureeinheiten
auf der Linsenoberfläche, die als potentielle anionische Stellen wirken. In ähnlicher Weise kann man eine kationische
Oberfläche erhalten, indem man die Linsenoberfläche alkyliert
oder nukleophile Amine, Sulfide oder Phosphin-Einheiten protoniert.

Praktisch alle Materialien für harte oder weiche Kontaktlinsen sind elektrisch neutrale Polymere oder Copolymere. Solche
Materialien kann man modifizieren, so dass sie ionische Oberflächengruppen tragen. Eine Behandlungsweise für alle
Linsen besteht darin, dass man die Oberfloche mit Strahlen
hoher Energie in Gegenwart von Luft behandelt, wodurch ionische Oberflächen gebildet werden (siehe Chapiro, Radiation Chemistry
of Polymeric Systems, Bd. VX, Interscience, New York, 1962
und F. A. Makhlis, Radiation Physics and Chemistry of Polymers.,
Wiley and Sons, New York, 1975).
Ein anderes Verfahren zur Modifizierung von Formulierungen für polymere Linsen besteht darin, dass man ionische (oder
potentiell ionische) Monomere einverleibt. Polymethylmethacrylat, welches zur Zeit für harte Linsenflächen das Material
der Wahl ist, ist solchen Modifizierungen zugänglich. Beispiele für solche. Modifizierungen sind die Copolymerisation von
Acrylsäure, Methacrylsäure oder Dimethylaminoäthylmethacrylat, um dadurch Polymethylmethacrylat-Linsen mit ionischen Gruppen
an der Oberfloche zu schaffen.
Ein weiteres Beispiel zum Modifizieren von sauerstoffdurchlässigen
Linsenformulierungen ist aus US-PS 3 808 178 ersichtlich. Diese Formulierungen sind Copolymere von Methylmethacrylat
mit einem Siloxanylalkylester der Methacrylsäure und diese können modifiziert werden durch die Zugabe von
entweder Acrylsäure, Methacrylsäure oder Dimethylaminoäthylmethacrylat.
In ähnlicher Weise kann man monomere Acrylsäure, Methacrylsäure oder Dimethylaminoäthylmethacrylat als Coreaktanten
mit Hydroxyathylmethacrylat verwenden unter Bildung eines Materials,
das für weiche Kontaktlinsen geeignet ist, die

ausserdem ionische Oberflächen tragen.
Zellulosepolymere, wie Zelluloseacetat-butyrat,finden als
Material für Kontaktlinsen mit guter Sauerstoffdurchlässigkeit Verwendung. Polymere dieser Art enthalten restliche
Zellulosealkoholfunktionalitäten, die als Modifizierungsstellen verwendet werden können. Die Umsetzung von Natriumchloracetat
mit den Alkoholfunktionalitäten ergibt Carboxylatgruppen längs der Polymerkette. Aus diesem modifizierten
CAB-Material hergestellte Kontaktlinsen können inhärent befeuchtbar
gemacht werden mit einer ionischen Oberfläche, die zur Ausbildung einer Polyelektrolyt-Komplex-Bildung geeignet
ist.
Das synthetische Harz für die Linsen hat vorzugsweise eine Gesamtionenladung von 0,001 % bis IO %. Das heisst, dass
0,001 % bis 1O % der Oberfläche geladen sind und dass die Ladungsdichte
im allgemeinen bei etwa 5 % liegt.
Die Linsenlösungen gemäss der Erfindung sind in allen Fällen
USP-sterile, vorzugsweise wässrige Lösungen, die in Linsenlösungen
übliche Bestandteile enthalten und die 0,001 bis 10 Gew.% eines wasserlöslichen ionischen Polymeren oder Polymere
enthalten, wie:

Konservierungsmittel, wie Benzylalkoniumchlorid, Äthylendiamintetraessigsäure
(EDTA), Quecksilberverbindungen und Chlorbutanol können verwendet werden. Befeuchtungsmittel wie Polyvinylalkohol,
Hydroxypropylmethylzellulose und Methylzellulose können auch verwendet werden. Schmiermittel, wie die vorher genannten
Befeuchtungsmittel, aber in höheren Konzentrationen, können verwendet werden. Ebenso auch Einweich- und Reinigungsmittel,
wie neutrale Detergentien, einschliessend Natriumdodecylsulfat
und neutrale oberflächenaktive Mittel auf Basis von Nonylphenol können verwendet werden; und ebenso übliche Puffer, Bioeide
und Viskositätsmodifizierungsmittel. Die Additive werden in einem weiten Konzentrationsbereich, wie aus dem Stand der Technik
bekannt ist, verv/endet. Vorzugsweise liegt der pH der Lösungen so nah wie möglich am pH des Körpers und immer im Bereich
von pH 6 bis 8.
Obwohl man vorzugsweise die Linsen mit der Lösung bei Raumtemperatur
tränkt, kann man die Lösungen auch auf die Linsenoberfläche aufreiben oder auftropfen.
In allen Fällen ist es bevorzugt, eine Beschichtung zu bilden, die nicht mehr als 2500 A ausmacht und die auf der Linsenoberfläche
als Hydrogel wirkt. Der von dem Polyelektrolyt-Komplex gebildete Hydrogel ist ein ionisch vernetztes Polymer, das
grosse Mengen Wasser absorbiert und zwar wenigstens 10 Gew.%
seines eigenen Gewichtes an Wasser. Die Linsen reizen das Auge nicht und können über lange Zeiträume getragen werden.
Die nachfolgenden Beispiele sollen die Erfindung in keiner Weise limitieren.

Proben von harten Polymeren wurden aus Methylmethacrylat (MMA) und aus einer Comohomer-Mischung aus Methylmethacrylat (MMA)
und Methacrylsäure (MA) hergestellt. Eine geringe Menge an Tetraäthylenglykoldimethacrylat (TEGDM) wurde zu beiden Formulierungen
als Vernetzungsmittel zugegeben. Als freiradikalischer Katalysator wurde 2,2'-Azobisisobutyronitril (AIBN) zur
Auslösung der Polymerisation verwendet. Die Zusammensetzungen für die Formulierung (in Tabelle I in Gewichtsprozent gezeigt)
wurden gründlich vermischt, in Reagenzgläser übergeführt, die verschlossen und entgast wurden, worauf dann Stickstoff aufgefüllt
wurde. Die Reagenzgläser wurden in ein Wasserbad bei 4O°C gestellt und während 2 Tagen wurde die Polymerisation
durchgeführt. Dann wurden die Gläser weitere 3 Tage in einen Ofen von 6O°C gestellt und dann wurden die polymerisieren
Stangen aus den Reagenzgläsern entnommen. Die Stangen wurden ungefähr 15 Stunden bei 1OO°C im Vakuum konditioniert um den
Polymerisationsprozess zu beenden und um alle mechanischen Spannungen auszugleichen. Probestücke in Form von 3/16" bis
1/2" Scheiben wurden aus den Stangen herausgeschnitten. Die flache bearbeitete Oberfläche der Scheiben wurde hochpoliert,
um eine geeignete Oberfläche für Kontaktwinkelmessungen zu schaffen.
Die Kontaktwinkel wurden an hydratisieren Proben nach dem
Eintauchen in H3O während 2 Tagen bestimmt, indem man die Werte
für die Winkel mass, die Wassertropfen auf der polierten Oberfläche bildeten. Niedrige Winkel sind ein Zeichen für benetzbare
Materialien und sind einer polareren Oberfläche zuzuschreiben, entweder als Ergebnis von vorhandenen chemischen Gruppen oder
von vorhandenen gebundenen Wassermolekülen.
Der erheblich niedrigere Kontaktwinkel an der Oberfläche B zeigt deutlich das Ergebnis der-vorliegenden Erfindung. Die
kationische Hydroxyäthylzellulose ist ionisch gebunden an die

Carboxylatgruppen (anionisch) an der Oberfläche unter Ausbildung eines Polyelektrolyt-Komplexes, der Wasser gebunden
enthält.

Die Behandlung A bestand in einem 5-minütigen Eintauchen
in eine wässrige Natriumcarbonatlösung (pH 10,7) und anschliessendes
gründliches Spülen mit destilliertem Wasser
Die Behandlung B war zunächst identisch mit der Behandlung A, aber anschliessend wurde 5 Minuten in eine 0,1 Gew,-%-ige
kationische Hydroxyäthylzellulose-Lösung in Wasser (Union Carbide JR-125-Harz) bei Raumtemperatur eingetaucht
und dann wurde gründlich mit destilliertem Wasser gespült.
Man arbeitet wie in Beispiel I und stellt harte polymere Proben
aus Methylmethacrylat (MMA), Methacryloyloxypropyl-tris-(trimethylsilyl)-siloxan
(TRIS) und Methacrylsäure (MA) her. Ein

kleiner Anteil an Tetraäthylenglykoldimethacrylat (TEGDM) wurde
als Vernetzungsmittel zugegeben. Zur Auslösung der Polymerisation wurde als freiradikalischer Initiator 2,2'-Azobisisobutyronitril
(AIBN) verwendet. Die Konzentration der verwendeten Reagenzien, die Oberflächenbehandlung und die Kontaktwinkelwerte sind in Tabelle II angegeben. Diese spezielle Formulierung
wurde gewählt als typisch für die zur Zeit bei der Herstellung von harten t sauerstoffdurchlässigen Kontaktlinsen
verwendete.
Die Proben mit den niedrigeren Kontaktwinkeln waren nach den Methoden B oder C behandelt worden und dies zeigt, dass die
Erfindung auf polymere Materialien für harte, sauerstoffdurchlässige
Kontaktlinsen anwendbar ist.

wässrige Lösung von Polyvinylbe^yltrimethylammoniumchlorid eingetaucht und dann gründlich mit destilliertem Wasser
gewaschen.
Man arbeitet wie in Beispiel I und stelle harte polymere Proben her aus Methylmethacrylat (MMA), Methacryloyloxypropyltris-(trimethylsilyl)-siloxan
(TRIS) und Dimethylaminoäthylmethacrylat (DMAEM). Als Vernetzungsmittel wird eine geringe
Menge an Tetraäthylenglykoldimethacrylat (TEGDM) verwendet. Als freiradikalischer Katalysator zur Bewirkung der Polymerisation
wird Z^'-Azobisisobutyronitril (AIBN) verwendet. Die
!Konzentration'der verwendeten Reagenzien, die OberflächenbeäiandlLung
und die ganessenen Kontaktwinkel werden in Tabelle Ί.ΈΚ angegeben. Die jeweiligen Zusammensetzungen sind typisch
jfrür Materialien, wie sie zur Herstellung von hochsauerstofftor.0hlässigeri
harten Kontaktlinsen verwendet werden können.
Dieses Beispiel zeigt den Einbau eines kationischen Monomeren in eine polymere Formulierung, die einer Behandlung mit einem
anionischen Polymeren unter Bildung einer Oberflächenschicht eines Polyelektrolyt-Komplexes zugängig ist. Dieses Verhalten
zeigt die Vielseitigkeit der vorliegenden Erfindung, bei der man entweder ein anionisches (Beispiele I und II) oder ein
kationisches (Beispiel III) Monomer in eine polymere Formulierung einbauen kann, welches in der Lage ist, einen Polyelektrolyt-Komplex
mit einem Polyion entgegengesetzter Ladung zu bilden.

dass eine ionische Ladung vorhanden ist und dass das Polymer oder das Polymergemisch eine gute Kontaktlinse ergibt mit den
Eigenschaften wie sie erforderlich sind, z.B. optische Klarheit.
Vorzugsweise haben die Kontaktlinsen eine Linsenoberfläche, die
ionische Stellen enthält, die komplex verbunden sind mit

Lösung zur Behandlung von Kontaktlinsenoberflächen, dadurch gekennzeichnet , dass die Lösung im wesentlichen aus einem ionischen Polymer in Wasser besteht, worin das Polymer in einer Menge von 0,001 bis 10 Gew.% der Lösung enthalten ist, die Lösung steril ist und einen physiologisch annehmbaren pH-Wert aufweist.
- 13. Lösung für Kontaktlinsen gemäss Anspruch 12, dadurch gekennzeichnet , dass die Lösung Reinigungsund Frischhalteadditive für die Linse enthält.
- 14. Verfahren zur Herstellung einer Polyelektrolyt-Komplex-Beschichtung auf einer polymeren Kontaktlinse, dadurch gekennzeichnet , dass man die Linse mit einer909829/0653ionischen Oberflächenladung versieht, dass man die Linsenoberfläche mit einer Benetzungslösung befeuchtet, die ein ionisches Polymer enthält und dadurch eine dünne Schicht eines Polyelektrolyt-Komplexes, der elektrostatisch an die Oberfläche gebunden ist, bildet, wobei die Beschichtung aus einem ionischen Polymer besteht und das Polymer einen Hydrogel an der Oberfläche bildet, der Wasser absorbiert, eine gute Wasserzurückhaltung aufweist und mit dem physiologischen Aufbau des Auges verträglich ist.909829/06 5 3
