Description
The present invention relates generally to color photographic photography Materials and in particular those color photographic materials with which a fading of the color images obtained and a discoloration of unstained areas (that is, not exposed parts, hereinafter referred to as white ground) can be prevented.
By treating silver halide color photographic materials Color images obtained are generally composed of azomethine dyes or indoaniline dyes, the be formed by the reaction of the oxidation product of an aromatic primary amine developer with couplers.
In general, it is desirable that the color photographic images thus obtained be long as one record or can be kept for an exhibition, but these color photographic images are not always light- and moisture-resistant, and therefore when the color images are exposed to light for a long time or at high temperatures for a long time and high humidity, fading or discoloration of color images and discoloration usually occur of the white ground, which leads to an impairment of the Image quality leads.
Such fading or discoloration of images can be a serious disadvantage for image recording materials. In order to overcome these difficulties, certain compounds have heretofore been used. Examples can be given Hydroquinone derivatives such as 2,5-di-tert-butylhydroquinone, etc .; Phenolic compounds such as 2, β-di-tert-butyl-p-cresol, 4,4'-methylenebis (2,6-di-tert-butylphenol), 2,2'-methylenebis (4-ethyl-6-tert.-butylphenol), 4,4'-isopropylidenediphenol, etc .; as well as compounds such as tocopherol, etc. More recently, compounds have also been made by acylation or alkylation of the hydroxyl groups of these phenolic compounds

These compounds can have an effect of preventing color images from fading or discoloration, however, these compounds also have the disadvantages that either the effect is small or when the effect is strong with respect to the prevention of fading - that they then adversely affect the color tint, form haze, one cause poor dispersion and / or form crystals. It is therefore dye stabilizers that are essential in every photographic Respect excellent properties have not yet been found.
The object of the present invention is to provide a color photographic To provide material that is capable of producing stabilized color images by converting into light-sensitive Color photographic emulsion layers include a color image stabilizer which does not adversely affect the color tone and fogging, and which has a sufficient effect on the prevention of fading and discoloration of the dye images.
Another object of the invention is to provide a color photographic To provide material that does not show yellow staining by going into the photographic, photosensitive Emulsion layers incorporate a compound that has a sufficient effect of preventing yellow staining shows in both image areas and non-image areas caused by exposure to light Color image.
Als Ergebnis umfangreicher Untersuchungen wurde gefunden, daß die oben beschriebenen Aufgaben der Erfindung dadurch gelöst werden können, daß man wenigstens eine Verbindung der allgemeinen Formeln (I) oder (II) in die fotografischen SchichtenAs a result of extensive research, it has been found that the above-described objects of the invention are achieved thereby can be that at least one compound of the general formulas (I) or (II) in the photographic layers
