Außerdem kann das Fußbrett b eine zum Befestigen der Fußspitze dienende Schnalle e tragen. Auf der Schiene α sind Blattfedern / befestigt. Bei g sind die Blattfedern / als Hohlkalotten ausgebildet und greifen in gerundete Ausnehmungen oder Rasten h des Fußbrettes b. Dieses Fußbrett & wird zwischen den Federn / angebracht, indem das Brett b zunächst mit einem Loche h auf die Kalotte g der Feder / gesteckt wird. Durch Zurückdrücken der Feder / wird alsdann der Abstand zwischen, den beiden Fedem / so stark vergrößert, daß das Brett & mit seinem zweiten Loche h auf die Kalotte g der anderen Feder gedrückt werden kann.The rail α is composed of plywood layers according to a known pattern.
