Erich Schnacke in Oldenburg, Oldbg. Storage for exposed electrical heating wires. Patented in the German Empire on December 21, 1926
It has already been suggested for the convenient installation and replacement of the the storage of such exposed electrical heating wires mediating insulating bushes To use holder rails for the purpose of opening the bearing eyes for the insertion and removal of the bushings are composed of two parts. the Insulating bushings have an annular shape and can also consist of two parts be composed. Compared to this known storage for exposed electrical Heating wires, the present invention is characterized by one made of flexible Existing sheet metal holder rail with rectangular ones intended for the insulating bushes Holes into which a tongue protrudes from the upper edge, which together with the lower edge of the holes in grooves of correspondingly shaped insulating bushes engages, the tongue for engagement in the The upper groove of the socket protrudes from the plane of the rail, but after the engagement is bent back into the plane of the rail. For use with this made of pliable One-piece holder rail made of sheet metal order the insulating bushes from a perforated Body of parallelepiped shape, which on two opposite sides with rectified grooves are provided, which are the lower edge of the rectangular bearing holes as well as the tongue of the holder rail protruding into this serve for engagement. The new type of storage for exposed ones electrical heating wires is due to the marked design of the holder rail and the insulating bushes are much cheaper to manufacture than the known one mentioned Storage with a two-part holder rail and with the same fitting in the bearing eyes one- or two-part annular insulating bushes. The one created according to the invention The parallelepiped shape of the insulating bushes offers the advantage that grooves are only on two opposite sides need to be present, while on the other two sides no weakening of the wall thickness by grooves necessary is. The known one- or two-part annular insulating bushes are against it provided with a circumferential groove, which weakens the insulating bushes and when pulled, Pressure and impact increase the risk of breakage. The circumferential grooves of the well-known ring-shaped Insulating sockets cause the sockets to break if they are even slightly damaged, so that the released ones There is a risk of short-circuiting the heating wires. Occurs in the case of the parallelepipedal according to the invention Shape owning insulating bushes a damage, so does not work as a whole Insulator ruptures, but rather it will crack
höchstens Ecken ab, die auf die Notwendigkeit der Auswechselung der Isolierbuchsen auffällig hinweisen.at most corners that indicate the need to replace the insulating bushes point out conspicuously.
The subject of the invention is on the drawing has been shown in one embodiment.
Abb. Fig. Ι is a partial view of a heating frame with the novel storage for the exposed electrical heating wires.
ίο Abb. 2, 3 und 4 veranschaulichen die Anbringungsweise der Isolierbuchsen.ίο Fig. 2, 3 and 4 illustrate the method of attachment the insulating bushes.
The heating frame set up in a known manner for the connection of the electrical line at α consists of the frame frame b into which the holder rails c are inserted, which are suitable for the storage and guidance of the exposed electrical heating wires. According to the invention, the holder rails c consist of angle rails made of flexible sheet metal with rectangular holes e provided in the leg d for the passage of the electrical heating wires f. Insulating sleeves g made of porcelain or other suitable material are used to insulate the heating wires / in the rectangular holes e according to the invention have parallelepiped shape and are provided on two opposite sides with grooves h, i in the same direction.
A tongue k protrudes from the upper edge into the rectangular holes e of the holder rails c s d , which, together with the lower edge I of the holes, engages in the grooves h, i of the parallelepipedic insulating bushes g , the tongue k for engagement in the The upper groove of the socket protrudes from the plane of the leg d of the rail c , as can be seen from Fig. 3, but after the engagement it is bent back into the plane of the leg d, as Fig. 2 shows. The parallelepiped insulating bushing g can easily be connected to the holder rail in the aforementioned manner or, if necessary, exchanged. To bend the tongue k from the position according to Fig. 3 into the position according to Fig. 2, or vice versa, flat-nose pliers can be used in the manner indicated in Fig. 3. With sufficient inclination of the tongue k , the insulating body g can easily be inserted or removed from the square holes e of the holder rail, the heating wire being divided beforehand at the point in question and then reliably joined together again after the insulating body has been replaced.
