Description
The invention relates to a device for locking mobile loading containers, Carriages, chassis and the like. On the floor of a vehicle or at Loading with brom and support shoes assigned to the wheels, which are secured by stops are limited pivotable on the bracket arms, and consists in <that each Brake shoe with two arms on both sides of the wheel not only swivels, but is also mounted radially displaceable, in addition to the rotational movement of the Brake shoe in one direction limiting stops, the rotational movement in the other direction limiting stops are arranged in such a way that when the brake shoe is swiveled out under the wheel Stop under the action of the wheel load in a cutout in the guide surface slides in with radial displacement of the brake shoe.
In this way, the greatest possible security against displacement is achieved with simple means the loading container, car, chassis and the like reached opposite the vehicle.
In der Zeichnung ist ein Ausführungsbeispiel der Erfindung dargestellt, und zwar zeigtIn the drawing, an embodiment of the invention is shown, namely shows

The wheel 3 is between the arms of the bearing block 2 mounted on a shaft 4, which protrude slightly from the bracket arms 2 on both sides. On both sides of the bearing block 4 pins 5 are provided above the bearing hole for the wheel shaft, and the lower ends of the bracket arms 2 are each provided with a stop 6, which passes through 'a downwardly extending extension of the bracket arms is formed. The locking device consists of a U-shaped brake shoe provided with two arms 7 8. The arms 7 are through elongated holes 10 made in them on the protruding Ends of the wheel shaft 4 supported so that the entire brake shoe can be pivoted with the arms about this shaft and also is radially displaceable to a limited extent. The arms 7 of the brake shoe are with after provided internally protruding pin 9, which are placed so that they are perpendicular to the the downward position of the brake shoe against the stops 6. The arms 7 are also provided at their free Endein with buckets projection 11 on the one Side merges into a sloping surface and on the other side by one Incision is limited in which the pin 5
Claims (1)
The inside of the brake shoe 8 has a slightly larger radius of curvature than the radius of the wheel circumference.
The brake shoes 8 are in the rest position, ie when the rollers alone carry the container or carriage, pivoted up around the shaft 4 (to the right in the drawing) and lie with the edge of the brake shoe against the bearing block, as in Fig. 1 with dash-dotted lines is indicated. The brake shoes can be held in this position by means of a suitable hook or clamp device of known type (not shown) so that they do not drag along the ground. When the container or trolley is to be set up on the brake shoes, these are swung down so that one edge of them rests on the ground, after which the container or trolley in the direction in which the brake shoes are in relation to the wheels 3 (according to right in the drawing), pulled or pushed, so that the shaft 4 and thus the entire container or carriage is lifted by the leverage of the arms 7 of the brake shoe. With continued displacement of the container and, as a result, continued pivoting of the brake shoes in relation to the bearing blocks, the sloping surfaces delimiting one side of the projection 11 come into engagement with the pin 5 and, by means of this, lift the bearing block arms 2 and thereby the container or carriage 1 and the wheels 3 in relation to the brake shoe arms 7, the shaft 4 moving a little way up in the elongated holes ι ο of the arms 7 until the pins 5 have exceeded the projection 11 and into the same on the other side fall into lying incisions. At the same time, the pins 9 of the arms 7 come to rest against the stops 6 on the lower ends of the bearing block arms 2, so that further rotation of the brake shoes is prevented. A turning back of the brake shoes is also prevented by the projections 11, so that the carriage 1 is now safely and firmly on the brake shoes 8, as indicated in Fig. Ι with solid lines. In order to lower the container or trolley back onto the wheels, it must be lifted a little bit in the usual way by means of a lifting rod or other suitable lifting device until the pins 5 come over the projections 11, after which the containers or trolleys are moved horizontally from the Brake shoes is repelled and these are swung up by hand or by appropriate means. The brake shoes 8 can be provided in a known manner on their lower surface engaging with the ground with teeth or grooves, as shown in the drawing, so that they 'provide better engagement with the ground and thereby a displacement of the container or Prevent the car from being in a locked position. Whether such grooves or teeth are provided is of course primarily dependent on the purpose of the locking device and the nature of the floor on which the container or trolley is to be placed fear and a hard, rough ground is available, the brake shoes can be designed with a smooth lower surface.
