Definitions
- the invention relates to a herbal pack consisting of a plastic film bag which forms an interior for receiving herbs and which is provided with a plurality of through openings at least in a partial area.
- Medicinal or health baths often contain herbal extracts as medically effective additives, which are added to the water in a bathtub or in a pool, for example in the form of liquid herbal extracts. An exact dosage is often difficult.
- the liquid herb extracts currently on the market contain additional substances, such as emulsifiers, additional binders or preservatives. Such additives are not desirable in many cases.
- herbal packs have already been proposed which contain dried herbs in a water-permeable bag. Additives, especially preservatives, are generally not required for these herbal packs. Depending on the required concentration of herbal extracts in this bath, one or more herbal packs are then introduced into the water for the preparation of a healing or health bath. Due to the water-permeable bag of the herbal pack, the herbs can release their active ingredients into the water, the herbs remaining in the bag of the herbal pack, so that this can be used with the softened or wet or moist herbs without difficulty and, above all, without the risk of the drain pipe becoming blocked softened herbs can be removed from the bath or basin from the medicinal or health bath.
- the herbal pack floating, in such a way that it floats on the water surface or in the area of the water surface and is therefore easy to find and remove. This also ensures that when discharging a medical or health bath hoffterpackung the K does not lie in front of the outlet and can thus prevent the flow of water.
- the object of the present invention is to design a herbal pack of the type described at the outset in such a way that it can float or be used as a floating herbal pack without additional floating or buoyancy bodies or elements, and at the same time when using it, the most intimate mixing of the water with the herbs present in the herbal pack or the medicinally effective substances released by the herbs.
- a herbal pack is designed according to the invention in such a way that the plastic film in the region of each passage opening forms a projection which has this opening and projects beyond a surface side of the plastic film, and that the projections assigned to a first group of passage openings project outwards beyond the outer surface of the bag and the projections assigned to a second group of passage openings extend beyond the inner surface of the bag into the interior of this bag.
- the openings in the bag or in the plastic film forming this bag have such a small diameter in the herbal pack according to the invention that the herbs contained in the herbal pack can certainly not penetrate to the outside through the openings.
- the plastic film is pierced either before the manufacture of the bag or after its manufacture with fine perforation needles, from both sides, so that not only the passage openings but also the protrusions are formed by permanent deformation of the material which have, for example, the shape of frustoconical sections.
- the openings Due to the projections or the frusto-conical sections, the openings have a tendency to expand a little more under vacuum or overpressure in the interior of the bag, taking into account the inherent elasticity of the plastic material used, and that are assigned to the projections projecting beyond the outer surface of the bag Passage openings when the herbal pack is compressed, ie expanded when there is excess pressure, while the passage openings assigned to the other projections increasingly close. Conversely, when the interior of the herbal pack is enlarged, for example by pulling this pack apart, the passage openings associated with the projections projecting beyond the inner surface of the bag are widened somewhat, while the other passage openings increasingly close. This "valve effect" results in a very intimate flow of water through the interior of the herbal pack. In addition, the design of the herbal pack ensures that a certain amount of residual air always remains in the interior of the herbal pack, so that this pack can float even without the use of additional floating or buoyancy bodies.
- Polypropylene is particularly suitable for the production of the herbal pack.
- the herbal pack 1 shown in the figures consists of two blanks 2 made of plastic film, each of which has a rectangular circumferential line 3 in the embodiment shown and is connected to one another on this circumferential line to form an all-round closed bag.
- this bag of the herbal pack 1 can also be produced by folding or folding a single blank 2 made of plastic film on one side of the circumferential line 3 in such a way that this blank forms two layers one above the other, so that then only to form the closed bag a connection on three sides of the circumferential line 3 is required.
- a tubular material made of plastic film can also be used to produce the bag of the herbal pack 1, from which the bag is formed after a corresponding cut by closing the two ends of this cut.
- the plastic material or blanks 2 is provided with a multiplicity of through openings 4 and 5, which are formed by pressing or piercing, preferably tapering, thin perforation needles, so that in the material of the blank 2 in question in the region
- Each opening 4 or 5 is formed an approximately frustoconical section 6 with its axis perpendicular or transverse to the surface sides of the blank 2, the inside diameter of which starts from the inside or outside of the blank 2 to the opening 4 or 5 narrowed.
- the openings 4 and the associated sections 6 are made in that the Material of the blank 2 or the plastic film has been pierced from one surface side of this film, while the blank 2 or the plastic film to form the openings 5 and the associated sections 6 has been pierced from the other surface side of this film.
- the sections 6 with the associated openings 4 form knob-like projections which protrude beyond the one surface side of the blank 2, ie, for example, beyond the outside of the bag of the herb pack 1, while the sections 6 with the openings 5 project beyond the other surface side of the blank, ie protrude, for example, over the inner surface of the bag of the herbal pack 1 into the interior of this herbal pack.
- openings 4 and 5 or the sections 6 such fine or thin perforation needles are used that the openings 4 and 5 have a very small cross-section so that herbs 7 contained in the herbal pack 1 or in the interior of this herbal pack neither in the dry nor in the wet or wet state through the openings 4 and 5 can escape to the outside, a passage of water and also air according to the arrows A and B through the openings 5 and 4 into the interior of the bag of the herbal pack 1 and through the openings 4 from this interior to the outside, however, is easily ensured.
- the openings 4 and 5 By the ramming of the openings 4 and 5 by means of perforating or through which here also resulting frusto-conical portions 6 are due to the intrinsic elasticity of the plastic material to close themselves as far as possible the tendency of the openings have e s 4 and 5, which also contributes to that herbs 7 cannot escape from the herb pack.
- a negative pressure inside the herbal pack which is produced, for example, by the two layers of the bag of the herbal pack 1 being pulled apart by hand, the openings 5 widen or the associated sections 6, while the openings 4 and the associated sections 6 close further, so that water and possibly even small amounts of air can get into the interior of the herbal pack 1 through the openings 5 in accordance with the arrow A.
- the openings 5 and the associated sections 6 close, while the openings 4 and the associated sections 6 expand, so that in particular a water flow through the openings 4 is possible according to the arrow B to the outside, but again here in the form that herbs 7 cannot escape from the interior of the herb pack 1.
- This valve effect not only allows an advantageous flow through the interior of the herbal pack 1 (corresponding to arrows A and B) with water for transferring the active substances of the herbs 7 to the water, provided the negative pressure or positive pressure inside the herbal pack is carried out in the manner described under water or under a water jet, but the training described also ensures that a certain amount of residual air always remains in the interior of the herbal pack 1, in particular when the reduction and enlargement of the interior of the herbal pack 1 are made by hand in the area of the water surface of a health spa, so that the herbal pack floats on the water surface or in the immediate vicinity of the water surface without additional floating bodies or buoyancy elements.
- the sections 6 projecting beyond the outer surface of the herbal pack 1 or the bag of this herbal pack result in a rough surface for the herbal pack 1, so that an advantageous massage effect is achieved when the moist herbal pack 1 is rubbed on the skin of the user.
- the herbal pack 1 Due to the large number of openings 4 and 5, the herbal pack 1 can also be easily folded or folded in any desired direction.
- the bag of the herbal pack 1 cannot dissolve in the water even after prolonged use, so that the herbs 7 are held safely and reliably in the interior of the herbal pack 1.
Abstract
Description
The invention relates to a herbal pack consisting of a plastic film bag which forms an interior for receiving herbs and which is provided with a plurality of through openings at least in a partial area.
Medicinal or health baths often contain herbal extracts as medically effective additives, which are added to the water in a bathtub or in a pool, for example in the form of liquid herbal extracts. An exact dosage is often difficult. In addition, the liquid herb extracts currently on the market contain additional substances, such as emulsifiers, additional binders or preservatives. Such additives are not desirable in many cases.
For this reason, herbal packs have already been proposed which contain dried herbs in a water-permeable bag. To find the herbal wrap in healing and health To facilitate bathing, it is advantageous to make the herbal pack floating, in such a way that it floats on the water surface or in the area of the water surface and is therefore easy to find and remove. This also ensures that when discharging a medical or health bath räuterpackung the K does not lie in front of the outlet and can thus prevent the flow of water.
Known floating herbal packs are still relatively complex, especially when additional floating or buoyancy bodies or elements are used.
The object of the present invention is to design a herbal pack of the type described at the outset in such a way that it can float or be used as a floating herbal pack without additional floating or buoyancy bodies or elements, and at the same time when using it, the most intimate mixing of the water with the herbs present in the herbal pack or the medicinally effective substances released by the herbs.
To achieve this object, a herbal pack is designed according to the invention in such a way that the plastic film in the region of each passage opening forms a projection which has this opening and projects beyond a surface side of the plastic film, and that the projections assigned to a first group of passage openings project outwards beyond the outer surface of the bag and the projections assigned to a second group of passage openings extend beyond the inner surface of the bag into the interior of this bag.
The openings in the bag or in the plastic film forming this bag have such a small diameter in the herbal pack according to the invention that the herbs contained in the herbal pack can certainly not penetrate to the outside through the openings. To form the passage openings and the associated protrusions, the plastic film is pierced either before the manufacture of the bag or after its manufacture with fine perforation needles, from both sides, so that not only the passage openings but also the protrusions are formed by permanent deformation of the material which have, for example, the shape of frustoconical sections. Due to the projections or the frusto-conical sections, the openings have a tendency to expand a little more under vacuum or overpressure in the interior of the bag, taking into account the inherent elasticity of the plastic material used, and that are assigned to the projections projecting beyond the outer surface of the bag Passage openings when the herbal pack is compressed, ie expanded when there is excess pressure, while the passage openings assigned to the other projections increasingly close.
Polypropylen.Polypropylene is particularly suitable for the production of the herbal pack.
- Fig. l in perspektivischer Darstellung eine Ausführung form der erfindungsgemäßen Kräuterpackung;
- Fi g. l a perspective representation of an embodiment of the herbal pack according to the invention;
- Fig. 2 is an enlarged view of a cross section of a perforated plastic film used to manufacture the herbal pack.
The
In any case, the plastic material or
For the formation of the
By the ramming of the
In particular, the
The invention has been described above using an exemplary embodiment. It goes without saying that changes and modifications are possible without thereby departing from the inventive idea on which the invention is based. For example, in principle it is also possible to provide a different shape for this peripheral line instead of a rectangular
