Description

  • Die Erfindung betrifft einen Verpackungsbehälter aus Kunststoff, mit einer seine Umfangswand verstärkenden, aus einem Kartonzuschnitt mit einer Ueberlappungsnaht geformten Kartonmanschette, wobei die Kartonmanschette formschlüssig eng an dem aus Kunststoff bestehenden Behälterteil gehalten ist.
  • Ein Verpackungsbehälter der genannten Art ist bekannt durch die US-A-4,550,854. Bei diesem bekannten Verpackungsbehälter ist die Kartonmanschette, ohne die Verwendung zusätzlicher Klebemittel, allein durch formschlüssigen Einschluss in die Umfangswand so fest an dieser angebracht, dass sie ohne Zerstörung des Behälters nicht ablösbar ist.
  • Der Erfindung liegt die Aufgabe zugrunde, auch das Material solcher Behälter, nach ihrem Gebrauch, artgetrennt der Abfallverwertung zuführen zu können. Die Lösung dieser Aufgabe erfolgt erfindungsgemäss durch einen vom Behälterrand in Richtung zu dem Behälterboden verlaufenden, mit einem Grifflappen versehenen Solltrennstreifen, so dass die Kartonmanschette von dem aus Kunststoff bestehenden Behälterteil abtrennbar ist. Vorteilhafte Ausführungsformen eines solchen Verpackungsbehälters sind Gegenstand der abhängigen Patentansprüche und der folgenden Beschreibung eines bevorzugten Ausführungsbeispieles anhand der Zeichnungen zu entnehmen. Es zeigt:

  • Die allgemeine Form des Verpackungsbehälter 1 entsprechend dem dargestellten Ausführungsbeispiel ist an sich bekannt. Der z.B. für Molkereiprodukte, wie Joghurt o.dgl. geeignete Verpackungsbehälter 1 hat eine konisch verlaufende Umfangswand 2, mit einem beim Stapeln als Abstützschulter dienenden, umlaufenden Absatz 3 und mit einem nach aussen abstehenden Randflansch 4 für die Befestigung einer nichtdargestellten Verschlussmembran.
  • Zur Einsparung von Kunststoffmaterial ist die Umfangswand 2 durch eine Kartonmanschette 5 verstärkt, die beispielsweise eine äussere und innere, das Bedrucken ermöglichende Papierschicht aufweist, die eine Schicht aus minderwertigem Kartonmaterial, sogenanntem Schrenz, zwischen sich einschliessen. Die obere Kante 6 der Kartonmanschette 5 liegt an der Unterseite des Flanschrandes 4 an, während ihre untere Kante 7 von einem unteren Absatz 8 eng unterfasst ist, dessen Breite der Dicke des Kartonmaterials entspricht. Durch den engen Verbund zwischen der Kartonmanschette 5 und dem Kunststoffmaterial der Umfangswand, wie er sich durch die Anformung in einer Tiefzieform ergibt, ist die Behälterwand wesentlich verstärkt.
  • Um für die Abfallverwertung des Verpackungsbehälters 1 die Kartonmanschette 5 vom Kunststoffteil des Verpackungsbehälters abtrennen zu können und somit auf einfache Weise dem Papierabfall zuordnen zu können, ist an der Umfangswand 2 ein Solltrennstreifen 10 mit einem Grifflappen 18 vorgesehen, durch den sich die Kartonmanschette 5 vollständig durchtrennen und somit leicht ablösen lässt, da keine Verklebung zwischen dem Kunsstoffbehälter und der Kartonmanschette vorhanden ist.
  • Der Solltrennstreifen 10 ist auf dem überwiegenden Teil seiner Länge zweischichtig, indem er dort durch das Uebereinanderliegen des inneren und äusseren Ueberlappungsbereiches 10', 10'' der Kartonmanschette 5 gebildet ist, an denen die Enden des Kartonzuschnittes nach Fig.3 nach seinem ringförmigen Zusammenbiegen zu einer kegelstumpfförmigen Manschette durch Kleben miteinander verbunden sind. Die äussere Schicht 11 des Solltrennstreifens 10 ist einerseits begrenzt durch eine nicht sichtbare Solltrennlinie, die über der inneren Ueberlappungskante 13 liegt und anderseits durch die äussere Ueberlappungskante 14. Die innere Schicht 15 des Solltrennstreifens 10 ist einerseits durch die innere Ueberlappungskante 13 und anderseits durch eine Perforationslinie 16 begrenzt. Die Perforationslinie 16 besteht aus reihenförmig angeordneten winkelförmigen Einschnitten. Um den Kartonmantel 5 an der Perforationslinie 16 gegen radial auf den Verpackungsbehälter einwirkende Kräfte zu schwächen, ist diese vom äusseren Ueberlappungsbereich 10'' überdeckt, so dass sich dessen Ueberlappungskante 14 hierfür in ausreichendem Abstand von der Perforationslinie 16 befindet.
  • Der Grifflappen 18 des Solltrennstreifens 10 ist durch eine unbedeckte Fortsetzung der inneren Schicht 15 gebildet und hat als seitliche Begrenzung einerseits eine Forsetzung 20 der inneren Ueberlappungskante 13 und anderseits einen dazu parallelen Einschnitt 21, der nach Fig.1 in gleicher Linie mit der äusseren Ueberlappungskante 14 verläuft. Um den an der Umfangswand 2 normalerweise anliegenden Grifflappen 18 leicht abheben und erfassen zu können, endet dieser durch eine im Kartonmantel 5 vorgesehene Lücke 22 mit Abstand unterhalb des Flanschrandes. Diese Lücke kann breiter sein als der Solltrennstreifen 10 oder sich über Abrundungen 23 nach aussen erweitern, so dass der Grifflappen 18 an dieser Lücke 22 sich deutlich zur Benutzung anbietet.
  • Zum Abtrennen der Kartonmanschette 5 vom sonst aus Kunststoff bestehenden Verpackungsbehälter 1 wird der Grifflappen 18 radial nach aussen gezogen, so dass der Solltrennstreifen 10 entlang der Perforationslinie 16 und der inneren Ueberlappungskante 13 vom Kartonmantel 5 abtrennt wird. Dabei wirkt diese innere Ueberlappungskante 13 messerartig auf die darüberliegende Kartonschicht, so dass an dieser keine Schwächungslinie vorzusehen ist. Es hat sich gezeigt, dass bei einer Begrenzung des Solltrennstreifens 10 durch zwei Perforationslinien 16 dieser leicht quer zerreissen würde, wenn ein vorzugsweise minderwertiges Kartonmaterial für die Herstellung der Kartonmanschette 5 verwendet wird.
  • Um das Einreissen entlang der nicht vorgeschwächten und somit nicht sichtbaren Solltrennlinie mittels der sich in den Grifflappen 18 fortsetzenden inneren Ueberlappungskante 13 zu erleichtern, ist in der Kartonmanschette 5 an der betreffenden Stelle ein kurzer Starteinschnitt 25 vorgesehen, der als eine Forsetzung der Begrenzungskante der erwähnten Lücke 22 angeordnet sein kann.

Claims (10)

  1. Verpackungsbehälter aus Kunststoff, mit einer seine Umfangswand (2) verstärkenden, aus einem Kartonzuschnitt mit einer Ueberlappungsnaht geformten Kartonmanschette (5), die formschlüssig eng an dem aus Kunststoff bestehenden Behälterteil gehalten ist, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß die Kartonmanschette einen vom Behälterrand (4) in Richtung zu dem Behälterboden verlaufenden, mit einem Grifflappen (18) versehenen Solltrennstreifen (10) aufweist, so dass sie von dem aus Kunststoff bestehenden Behälterteil abtrennbar ist.
  2. Verpackungsbehälter nach Anspruch 1, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass der Solltrennstreifen (10) durch die beiden Kanten (13, 14) des Ueberlappungsbereiches des Kartonzuschnittes begrenzt ist, so dass er zwei Schichten (11, 15) des Kartonzuschnittes aufweist, wobei der innere Ueberlappungsbereich (10') eine parallel zu den beiden Kanten (13, 14) verlaufende Schwächungslinie (16) aufweist.
  3. Verpackungsbehälter nach Anspruch 2, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass die Schwächungslinie (16) von dem äusseren Ueberlappungsbereich (10'') überdeckt ist, so dass die innere Schicht (15) des Solltrennstreifens (10) schmaler ist als die äussere.
  4. Verpackungsbehälter nach einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 3, dessen die Umfangswand (2) in der Nähe seines Oeffnungsrandes einen umlaufenden Absatz (3) aufweist, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass der äussere Ueberlappungsbereich (10'') durch einen winkelförmigen Ausschnitt (26) des Kartonzuschnittes von der oberen Begrenzungskante (6) der Kartonmanschette (5) bis unter den Absatz (3) zurückversetzt ist, so dass er gegenüber diesem einen Abstand (19) aufweist, wobei der durch die Ueberlappung somit nicht überdeckte Teile der Kartonmanschette (5) den Grifflappen (18) des Solltrennstreifens (10) bildet.
  5. Verpackungsbehälter nach Anspruch 4, dessen der Oeffnungsrand einen nach aussen abstehenden Flansch (4) aufweist, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass die Kartonmanschette (5) angrenzend an den Solltrennstreifen (10) unterhalb des Flansches (4) eine Lücke (22) aufweist, deren Breite in Umfangsrichtung des Verpackungsbehälters (1) mindestens der Breite des Solltrennstreifens (10) entspricht, so dass der Grifflappen (18) durch diese Lücke vom Flansch (4) zurückversetzt ist, wobei der Grifflappen (18) in Umfangsrichtung einerseits durch die Fortsetzung der inneren Ueberlappungskante (13) und anderseits durch einen dazu parallelen Einschnitt (21) der Kartonmanschette (5) begrenzt ist.
  6. Verpackungsbehälter nach Anspruch 5, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass der den Grifflappen (18) begrenzende Einschnitt (21) in gleicher Linie mit der äusseren Ueberlappungskante (14) verläuft.
  7. Verpackungsbehälter nach Anspruch 5 oder 6, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass der den Grifflappen (18) begrenzende Einschnitt (21) oberhalb des Absatzes (3) der Umfangswand (2) endet.
  8. Verpackungsbehälter nach einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 7, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass der Solltrennstreifen (10) durch zwei Solltrennlinien begrenzt ist, von denen eine durch eine Schwächungslinie (16) des inneren Ueberlappungsbereiches (10') gebildet ist, während die andere, an dem äusseren Ueberlappungsbereich (10'') vorgesehene, durch die unter ihr verlaufende innere Ueberlappungskante (13) definiert ist.
  9. Verpackungsbehälter nach Anspruch 8, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass die an dem äusseren Ueberlappungsbereich (10'') vorgesehene Solltrennlinie eine durch einen Einschnitt (25) der Kartonmanschette (5) gebildeten Startabschnitt aufweist.
  10. Verpackungsbehälter nach einem der Ansprüche 5 bis 9, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass die die Lücke (22) begrenzenden äusseren Ecken und die Ecken des Grifflappens (18) eine Abrundung (23) aufweisen.
