Description

Zwecke in Betracht. The invention relates to a device for forming stacks of folded, zigzag nested cloths, sheets or the like, which consist of fibrous materials. For the sake of simplicity, the following only speaks of cloths or the like made from fiber materials of any kind, such as cellulose, natural and / or artificial staple fibers or mixtures of these fibers. can exist, which means all sheet-shaped blanks. In particular come cellulose or the like. Wipes for hygienic or cosmetic and the like. Purposes. By means of the device, the individualized wipes are placed one inside the other in such a way that a part of one wipe is covered by a part of the next wipe.

This device is supplied with two fibrous webs, each of which is assigned a cutting device for transversely cutting the webs into individual sheets offset from one another and which with folding devices for the individual sheets along a transverse line with a shaft receiving the stack of sheets and with a device for depositing and holding it down associated therewith of the top cloth is equipped in the formation of the stack.

Such a device has already become known from US-PS 27 61 676. In this device, the device for storing and for holding down the top cloth of the stack consists of comb-shaped branches with finger fingers that separate the individual cloths from the remove these feed rollers and press them down onto the stack, as well as from comb-like hold-down devices which, after placing the top cloth in each case, lie over the stack in the cloth stacking shaft in order to hold the stack in the shaft under a certain tension and move it upwards To prevent storage of each cloth.

The mechanism mentioned above is complex and structurally complex. Both the laying fingers and the holding fingers of the hold-down devices that reach between the laying fingers must work in time with the machine, i.e. in particular, that they are must be active each time a cloth is deposited. In order to ensure clean storage of the folded towels and correct stack formation, the working speed of the device is limited, in particular because masses falling in weight have to be moved relatively quickly, in particular accelerated and decelerated, resulting in undesirable vibrations if the device runs too quickly surrender.

The invention has for its object to improve devices of the type in question, so as to reduce the inertial forces and thus speed up the workflow and thus increase productivity, without the quality and the exact design of the cloth stack are impaired.

To achieve this object, it is proposed according to the invention to design the device in question in the manner as specified in claims 1 and 2 in detail.

Further features of the object of the invention emerge from the subclaims and from the following description of a preferred exemplary embodiment of a device for forming stacks from fiber cloths, which are shown schematically in FIGS. 1 to 4 of the drawing. Show it:
  • 1 shows a cross section through a device equipped on both sides of the cloth stacking shaft, each with a cantilever, from which its structural design can be seen,
  • 2 shows a cross section through a device, the depositing device of which has two offshoots each,
  • Fig. 3 is a plan view of the device of FIG. 2, and
  • 4 shows the principle of the depositing and holding-down device of the device according to FIGS. 2 and 3.

As can be seen from FIG. 1, the device has an identical mirror image to the central plane M, so that, for reasons of simplification, only one side of the device is described below with regard to its structure.

15 transversal in einzelne Abschnitte bzw. The device 11 for forming a cloth stack 12 in a receiving shaft 13, which is arranged in the central plane M, has devices for feeding the material webs 14 and 15, which ge between the two knife rollers 18 and 19 by means of the pull rollers 16, 17 leads. The knives 20 and 21 of the knife rollers 18, 19 cut the webs 14 and 15 transversely into individual sections or cloths 22 each of the same length, which are then transferred to the folding rollers 23. These folding rollers 23 are equipped with mouth pieces 24 arranged along a surface line for sucking in or dispensing the respective front edges 25 of the individual sheets 22, to which a vacuum source can be connected. The folding rollers 23 are provided over their circumference with a plurality of mutually parallel, not shown grooves, in which the laying fingers 26 of the comb-like branches 27 can engage with their front ends to reach behind the front edge 25 of the supplied cloths 22 and they their downward movement to be able to press down on the cloth stack 12.

The cantilevers 27 consist of a beam 28 which extends below the folding roller 23 and extends parallel thereto, on which the cantilever fingers 26 are fastened at regular intervals from one another. There are bearing journals 29 on both sides of the cantilever beam 28, on which the push rods 30 on the one hand and the rocking levers 31 on the other hand engage. The rear ends of the push rods 30 are mounted on the crank pin 32 of the crank disks 33. The lower ends of the rocker arms 31 perform rocking movements around the fixed bearing pins 34. Lever arms 35 are also attached to the cantilever beam 28, the rear ends of which are coupled to the crank rods 37 by means of bearing pins 36, the lower ends of which are seated on the crank pin 38 of the crank disks 39. The crank disks 33, 39 or their shafts are driven synchronously with one another via a gear transmission 40, depending on the rotation of the knife rollers 18, 19 or the folding rollers 23.

The crank drives 32, 33 acting on the push rods 30 provide for a forward and backward movement of the cantilever beam 28. The crank drives 38, 39 acting on the crank rods 37 cause the cantilever beam 28 and thus the laying finger 26 to pivot through the lever arms 35 during their forward movement. and backward movement.

In the embodiment according to FIG. 2, the depositing device for the cloths 22 on each side of the cloth stacking shaft 13 has two offshoots 27 and 27 ', the bars 28 and 28' of which are arranged one above the other but at a distance from one another in order to have the necessary freedom of movement . The laying fingers 26 on the laying bar 28 are spaced so far apart that the laying fingers 26 'on the laying bar 28' can grip between them in order to remove a cloth 22 or 22 'from the folding roller 23 one after the other and place them on the cloth stack 12. The drive mechanisms for the offshoots 27 and 27 'correspond to those of the embodiment according to Fig. 1. The push rods 30' and the crank rods 37 'are offset from the push rods 30 and the crank rods 37 by 180 o on the crank disks 33 and 39, respectively , which in this case only rotate at half the speed of rotation, because the fingers 26 and 26 'need to capture and store only every second cloth 22 and 22' led out by the folding roller 23 '. This allows the working speed of the offshoots 27, 27 'to be reduced by half for the same output, which offers considerable advantages.

If, for example, even three offshoots 27 are provided, their working speed is reduced to a third.

The sequence of movements of the moving parts of the depositing device according to FIG. 2 can be seen particularly clearly from the schematic drawing of FIG. 3. The solid lines relate to the individual elements of the offshoot 27, while the dashed lines draw the individual elements of the offshoot 27 '.

In the position shown in FIG. 3, the front ends of the placing fingers 26 are in position 1 of the curve K, which describe them during a movement cycle. The crank pins 32 and 38 of the two crank drives then also assume position 1 on the crank circles on which they move. As can be seen, the deposit 27 is almost completely advanced against the cloth stacking shaft 13, the fingers 26 engaging behind the cloth 22. The offshoot 27 ', on the other hand, is almost completely retracted, the front ends of the fingers 26' still resting on the cloth stack 12 or on the overlying cloth 22 'to hold them down until the fingers 26 of the offshoot 27 after their downward movement longitudinally the curve K take over their task.

Instead of the crank drives mentioned and illustrated by way of example, other levers or the like can of course be used. Use shoots that can easily achieve certain optimal curve shapes along which the front ends of the laying fingers should move, with the least design effort.

From the above explanations it can be seen that the depositing fingers of the depositing device have the task of not only depositing the individual, folded sheets on the sheet stack, but also putting it down or on it hold so as to form the exact stack of towels 12, in which the fold lines of the towels are exactly one above the other and parallel to each other, so that the subsequent packaging of parts of the towel stack 12 with each a certain predetermined number of towels is significantly simplified. This saves in particular the otherwise necessary hold-down fingers that are present in addition to the placement fingers.

The device designed in accordance with the invention makes it possible to increase its performance considerably, since the replication of the offshoots reduces their working speed, so that at this otherwise problematic point on the device there are no problems which would limit productivity.
