Definitions
- the invention relates to a method for transmitting the position of a Telephone, where the telephone is in a vehicle, after the Preamble of claim 1.
- Such a method is for example under the abbreviation WCPS (Wireless Call Positioning Service) known.
- WCPS Wireless Call Positioning Service
- This well-known WCPS method was in the article "In the network of the networks" of the magazine teleTraffic, 9-10 / 2000, page 38 ff.
- In this known method is on an ISDN telephone number as extension of a data packet up to nine characters appended.
- This data packet is from a Telephone computer evaluated and for example for a vehicle location system on.
- a control module is known in which a GPS receiver, a card means and a logic means are integrated.
- the map of the Module has different types of display. Continuous functions with Different types of coordinate systems are used for interpolation used between reference points in a grid.
- the recipient in a method for transmitting the position a telephone to a recipient, where the telephone number of the Sender (call) is registered with the recipient, the recipient one Assigned a plurality of dialable telephone numbers.
- the recipient is z. B. a called phone, a selected ISDN system with several Telephone numbers and / or a dialed extended telephone computer.
- the receiver preferably has the form of a telephone computer Dial-up registration system for registering the sender's telephone number and the phone numbers dialed by the broadcaster. Furthermore, the Receiver an evaluation unit for processing the individual information and to form and / or display the overall information.
- the method according to the invention becomes a geographical vehicle location applied.
- the sender phone number becomes a specific one Assigned to vehicle.
- the selectable Phone numbers become the x and y coordinates of the area grid assigned.
- at least two become digital Individual information for the x-coordinate and for the y-coordinate one Total information about the current position of the vehicle is formed and displayed if necessary.
- the invention is based on the principle that a selection (telephone call) a certain telephone number at the recipient already as information can be scored even if answering the phone call is rejected.
- the subject of the present invention is none Use of the extension number required. Only the selection of one certain telephone number as such serves as digital 0/1 information (Individual information). With a large number of dialable telephone numbers any amount of information can be transferred.
- the caller (sender) is then dialed into a specific telephone number identifies the phone number assigned to it (e.g. for GSM using the SIM ID).
- the sender's phone number can thus be a specific one User or a specific sending object (e.g. vehicle) be assigned.
- the number accordingly corresponds to selectable telephone numbers of the number of bits for a code from which the Total information is formed.
- the advantage of the method according to the invention is a simple system for Position transmission with free use of already existing Systems (i.e. telephone connections also using radio systems (e.g. GSM).
- already existing Systems i.e. telephone connections also using radio systems (e.g. GSM).
- radio systems e.g. GSM
- FIG. 1 shows a possible location area G of a vehicle F shown.
- the vehicle F has a specific sender telephone number assigned; d. H. a phone with a specific phone number will only used in this vehicle F.
- the vehicle F is on A vehicle from a service mobile fleet of a standby service is everyone Vehicle from this service mobile fleet has a specific sender telephone number assigned.
- a quadratic Area grid over the possible area of residence G. 1 is first a surface grid with 1000 km side length and 100 equidistant subdivisions selected for each coordinate axis (x, y).
- the area grid can be used for fine location with two different ones Screen rulings are covered; with a rough grid that is 100 x 100 Has squares on an area of 1000 km x 1000 km (Fig. 1), as well with a fine grid that covers 100 x 100 squares on an area of 10 km x 10 km (Fig. 2).
- the operations control center is equipped with a special ISDN telephone computer equipped (not shown here), the 100 dialable telephone numbers (MSN) can be assigned. (To be able to answer many calls in parallel, z. B. 10 ISDN basic connections with 10 MSN each set up).
- the side lengths of the surface raster are each equidistant in 100 Sections divided. Both the x coordinates and the y coordinates are defined by the 100 equidistant sections, each Section of each axis is assigned one of the 100 telephone numbers MSN.
- the 100 telephone numbers MSN can each have an x coordinate and each define a y coordinate.
- the vehicle F is in the Square defined by the 65th MSN for the x coordinate and by the 16th MSN is defined for the y coordinate. This corresponds to a rough location with 10 km Accuracy. For fine location, 2 calls are needed again to get the Increase resolution to 100 m accuracy.
- the one shown in Figure 1 hatched area element, as shown in Figure 2, again in a Grid with 100 x 100 possible positions or squares divided. Again is here from the telephone number of the transmitter in the form of the vehicle F the x coordinate via the selectable 52nd MSN and the y coordinate via the selectable 66th MSN transmitted.
- Another table in the Telephone computer (receiver) will also fine-locate over a Telephone number-position assignment carried out.
- the time intervals for the calls are preferably chosen so that at highest speed the vehicle F does not move from the 10 x 10 km Grid square can go out.
- the origin of the x, y coordinate system preferably put in the middle of the area grid, to allow deviations in all directions.
- control center knows the position of the vehicle F, must at regular calls to the transmitter (vehicle F phone) if necessary, only the difference position can be transferred. For this often only 2 calls are necessary.
- a vehicle travels (in the fine grid according to FIG. 2) from "position” (50th MSN, 50th MSN) 0.2 km to the east and 0.4 km to the south. Thereupon the new "position” (52nd MSN, 46th MSN). So there are only 2 calls left necessary for the 52nd MSN and the 46th MSN. The position is still on 100 m accurate.
- the position can be updated again via 4 calls.
- the vehicle F is Knows when a call was last made and how far it has been since removed.
- the vehicle is self-located e.g. about a Navigation system with GPS sensor.
- One must also be in the vehicle Assignment table can be stored that the position determined in each case assigns the corresponding phone numbers to be dialed.
- to Security can be increased at fixed intervals (e.g. every 15 minutes) the absolute position can be transmitted over 4 calls.
- GSM or GPS provides a highly accurate time base that can be used to Have vehicles in a vehicle fleet called with a time delay. So can prevent too many vehicles from a fleet from operating at the same time Dial the same number.
