Abstract

Die Erfindung betrifft die Teile, und die Verfahrensart zum Betätigen, einer Rohrkupplung (1), zum Verbinden und Trennen von medienführenden Rohren, welche aus zwei, an Rohrenden befindlichen, Kupplungshalften besteht, nämlich aus einem Stecker (2) und einer Muffe (3), die jeweils axial verschiebbare, druckdicht schließbare, hülsenförmige Absperrelemente (12 und 23) aufweisen. Die Absperrhülse (23) der Muffe ist federbeaufschlagt (33), und verschließt bei getrennter Rohrkupplung das muffenseitige Rohr selbsttätig. Die Absperrhülse (12) des Steckers ist mittels vorgesehener Bewegungs- und Haltemittel aus einer verschließenden Position in eine geöffnete Position, und zurück, bringbar und dort haltbar. Mittels an den Kupplungshälften vorgesehenen Befestigungsteilen, wie Haken (5) und Einhakschiene (6), können Stecker und Muffe, zum Zwecke einer beabsichtigten Rohrverbindung, in einem ersten manuellen Arbeitsschritt, stirnseitig anliegend und axial fluchtend, so zueinander positioniert (MP) werden, dass ein axiales Entfernen der Kupplungshälften voneinander ausgeschlossen ist.
In einem zweiten manuell zu betätigendem Arbeitsschritt, kann die steckerseitige Absperrhülse (12), zum Zwecke der beabsichtigten Rohrverbindung, mittels der vorgesehenen Bewegungs- und Haltemittel, teleskopartig in die muffenseitige Kupplungshälfte hinübergeschoben werden. Dabei wird die steckerseitige Absperrhülse (12) zuerst, bis zu einem Anschlag, über die muffenseitige Absperrhülse (23) geschoben, was eine abgedichtete Absperrhülsenverbindung bewirkt, und danach wird die auf Anschlag liegende muffenseitige Absperrhüse (23) gegen ihre Federbeaufschlagung (33) in eine ebenfalls geöffnete Ventilposition weiter mitgenommen.
Die steckerseitige Absperrhülse (12) beinhaltet einen inneren aufgeweiteten Hohlraum (15), welcher der Rohrverbindung als koaxialer Mediendurchgang dient. Das Trennen der Rohrverbindung erfolgt in umgekehrter Reihenfolge der Arbeitsschntte. Weitergehend sind Mittel vorgesehen, welche eine steckerseitige Absperrhülsenbewegung nur bei manuell positionierten (MP) Kupplungshälften erlaubt.
