Weiter ist aus der GB 2 149 658 A ein Feuerlöschsystem bekannt, welches insbesondere in elektrisch betriebenen Apparaturen einsetzbar ist, um in der Apparatur einen lokalen Brandherd zu löschen. Dieses Feuerlöschsystem wird vorzugsweise bei Fernsehern verwendet, wobei dieses ebenfalls bei einer Temperatur- oder Qualmentwicklung reagiert. Eine andere Feuerlösch- oder Schutzvorrichtung für elektrische Geräte ist aus der DE 38 09 754 A1 bekannt. Hierbei handelt es sich um eine Vorrichtung zum Schutz gegen Feuer bzw. Brand von elektrischen Geräten, wie Waschmaschinen, Trockner, Geschirrspülmaschinen, Kühlschränke, Kühltheken u. s. w.. In zweckmäßiger Weise sind im Schnittbereich der Rippensehnen Brandsensoren sowie Düsen zum Versprühen des Löschmittels angeordnet. In der Rippe ist neben einem Löschmitteltank ein Treibmittelgefäß zum Ausbringen des Löschmittels angeordnet. Die Rippe ist somit in ihrer Raumaufteilung derart gestaltet, dass neben dem Löschmittel- auch ein Treibmitteltank in dem Rippengehäuse vorgesehen ist. Der Löschmitteltank ist hierbei unmittelbar mit dem Treibmittelgefäß verbunden. Nach einer vorteilhaften Ausgestaltung gibt wenigstens eine am Löschmitteltank 18 angeordnete Düse 17 infolge einer Temperaturgrenzwertüberschreitung den Sprühaustritt 20 selbsttätig frei, wobei wenigstens ein Brandsensor 9 das Treibmittel aus dem Treibmittelgefäß 19 aktiviert. Es versteht sich nun von selbst, dass, wenn beispielsweise im Brandfall die Düse 17 durch Temperaturerhöhung, sei es durch Schmelzen, oder dadurch, dass das aktivierte Treibmittel einen Verschluss an der Düse 17 abgesprengt, das Löschmittel 10 in den Trommelhohlraum eindringt und somit unmittelbar auf den Brandherd einwirkt. Dadurch ist auch eine doppelte Sicherheit gegeben, wobei entweder hier auf der einen Seite die Düse 17 selbsttätig öffnet bzw. der Brandsensor 9 hier anspringt, so dass das Löschmittel 10 ungehindert austreten kann. In Weiterbildung insbesondere der Anordnung der Brandsensoren 9, dargestellt in der Figur 5, können diese zur Aktivierung des Treibmittels auf den seitlichen Flanken des Rippengehäuses angeordnet sein. Wäschetrockner (1) mit einer in einem Gehäuse (2) drehbar gelagerten Trommel (3), einer mit einer Tür (4) verschließbaren Beschickungsöffnung (5), sowie einem Gebläse (6) und einer Heizeinrichtung (7) zur Erzeugung eines Prozessluftstromes, der im verriegelten Zustand der Tür (4) durch die Trommel (3) strömt, und der Wäschetrockner (1) mit zumindest einer Feuerlöscheinrichtung (8) ausgestattet ist, welche über als Temperatursensoren ausgebildete Brandsensoren (9) zur Überwachung des Prozessluftstromes verfügt, sowie einer Überwachungssteuerung zur Aktivierung einer Einrichtung mittels der ein bevorratetes Löschmittel (10) in den Trommelraum zuführbar ist,
dadurch gekennzeichnet,
dass die Feuerlöscheinrichtung (8) als ein separat ausgebildetes kompaktes Bauteil (11) an der inneren Mantelwand (12) der Trommel (3) angeordnet ist.
