A disadvantage of known orchestral soundproofing devices is that it worsens the hearing of the musician who is protected by the soundproofing screen. The result is that he can perceive the instruments arranged behind him worse, which makes the interaction in the orchestra difficult. Furthermore, known orchestral soundproofing devices make it difficult for the musicians to communicate verbally, which is detrimental to the quality of the musical performance.

The invention has for its object to propose an orchestra soundproofing device, which reduces disadvantages in the prior art.

The invention solves the problem by a generic orchestra soundproofing device, which is designed so that when at least three identical orchestral soundproofing devices are arranged side by side so that the back elements form a continuous wall, the headboards interrupted by at least two recesses Form arrangement.

Extensive research has shown that it is possible on the one hand to protect a musician against excessive noise and on the other hand to allow communication between musicians of different ranks, in that the arrangement of the headboards next to each other does not form a continuous wall, but has recesses. For this purpose, for example, the head part on one or two sides of a chamfer.

Due to this chamfer, the sound load of the musician increases, but otherwise the marginal conditions are the same, but this increase is very small. At the same time, the recesses allow the damping to be much less dependent on the frequency than known protection devices, in which the head parts form a continuous wall when several of the protection devices are arranged side by side.

It could be considered that the same effect can be achieved when known protective devices in which the back member and the head portion are rectangular and have the same width, a comparable effect can be achieved by three or more soundproofing devices are arranged in a gap to each other can. However, it has been found that the sonic load of the musician to be protected increases significantly by the resulting gap between the back elements. This is not the case with the system according to the invention.

It is also advantageous that the orchestra soundproofing device is simple and thus robust. It is possible to easily and repeatedly move the protector without unduly wearing it.

In the context of the present description, an orchestra soundproofing device is understood to mean a device which is designed to protect a musician of an orchestra against the sound produced by another orchestral musician. In particular, an orchestra soundproofing device is one person movable, that is, the weight, for example, is not above 80 kilograms, especially 40 kilograms. In particular, an orchestra soundproofing device preferably also has a width of at most 2 meters.

Under the feature that at least three orchestral soundproofing devices can be arranged side by side flush with each other, is understood in particular that the back elements each have such a side edge, that they can be arranged flush with each other over their entire height.

However, it is in principle also possible, albeit less favorable, for the back element to be designed such that gaps in the wall remain from the back elements when arranging two orchestral sound protection devices, for example it is conceivable that the back element has openings through which the hand intervenes can be used to move the orchestra soundproofing devices.

However, it is favorable if any recesses in the wall, which is formed by the back elements, are as small as possible. In particular, the back element of an orchestral soundproofing device is therefore designed such that, when two such orchestra soundproofing devices are arranged next to one another, there is a gap of at most 10 millimeters, in particular at most 3 millimeters. If a gap exists, it preferably extends over at most 50% of the height of the back element. Even with a continuous gap of 1 millimeter, however, results in a clearly detectable reduction in the noise protection effect.

In order to achieve the best possible sealing effect, the orchestra soundproofing device according to a preferred embodiment has on at least one side a sealing element, for example made of foamed plastic.

It is favorable if the back element has sound-absorbing material on at least one side. In particular, the back element is constructed so that it at least 90%, in particular at least 95%, of the incident sound energy with a frequency of over 500 hertz absorbed.

Preferably, the recess is designed so that it leads to an increase in volume by less than 5 dB (A) compared to an otherwise identical orchestral soundproofing device without a recess. This criterion can be determined in preliminary tests. In such experiments, for example with a brass instrument such as a trumpet, a tone of consistent volume or location is output relative to the orchestra soundproofing device and the sound level measured at the location where a musician to be protected by the orchestra from the orchestra soundproofing device strikes his head will have.

First, an orchestral soundproofing device without a recess is started and the sound level is determined. Subsequently, the recess is successively increased, for example by removing parts of the head part, until the value of 5 db (A) is exceeded. The recess is then selected in which the said threshold of 5 db (A) is not exceeded. It has been found that such a recess is already sufficient to allow sufficient communication between the musicians of different rows in the orchestra.

According to a preferred embodiment, the head part is at least predominantly transparent. In other words, it is preferable if it can be seen through the head part as through glass. The musician who plays on the orchestra soundproofing device can thus recognize what the person is doing in front of him, which facilitates the coordination within the orchestra.

According to a preferred embodiment, the head part is anti-reflective. For example, the head part has an anti-reflection coating. Such anti-reflection coatings have a thickness and / or a layer structure which suppresses reflections. They belong to the state of the art and are therefore not explained further. The anti-reflective coating prevents the musicians from being disturbed by reflections in the headboard Ceiling lights.

It is favorable if the orchestra soundproofing device has a foot part with which it can be placed on a ground, wherein a transition between the back element and the head part is arranged at a height of 100 cm and 170 cm.

Preferably, the chamfer is formed so that an imaginary circle whose center of the circle lies in an edge region between the back element and the head part, whose diameter corresponds to at least 0.9 times a width of the back element and the circular surface lies in a plane of compensation through the head part, within the Headboard runs. Such a circle can be regarded as the first approximation of a curve of the same sound pressure generated, for example, by a brass instrument which is arranged behind the soundproofing device.

The fact that this circle runs within the head element ensures that the sonic load of the musician to be protected by the soundproofing device is increased only to a lesser extent by the provision of bevelling and at the same time the beveling results in the greatest possible clearance if several orchestral soundproofing devices Are arranged side by side.

It is favorable if a back element width of the back element is at least 60 cm, in particular at least 80 cm. Most of the time you will provide a width of 1 meter, so that the number of soundproofing devices to be used corresponds to a good approximation of the number of musicians to be protected, as musicians are usually sitting at a distance of about 1 meter arranged.

Preferably, a headboard angle between the head part and the back element, at least 120 °, in particular 135 ° ± 10 °. It has been found that such an angle on the one hand ensures good sound insulation and on the other hand, the communication within the orchestra does not interfere excessively.

Preferably, the head part is firmly connected to the back element. In particular, the head part and the back element are sections of a one-piece head and back element.

But it is also possible that the head part is movably mounted on the back element. For example, the head part is pivotally mounted on the back element. It can be realized by means of a ball joint.

It is possible that the locking of the head part relative to the back element by means of magnets and / or mechanically realized. In other words, a locking device is provided, by means of which the head part is relative to the back element reversibly fixed so that it can be solved without tools, in particular alone by operation with the bare hand. Alternatively, the head part can be slidably mounted on the back element, for example by means of a linear guide. It is also possible that the head part is pivotally and slidably mounted on the back element, so that it can, for example, first be pivoted into a position in which it runs parallel to the back element and is then displaced parallel to the back element. This makes it possible to remove the headboard so far out of the space between the two musicians that communication across the guard is easily possible.

According to the invention, an orchestra soundproofing wall for preventing a sound effect on an orchestra musician of an orchestra by a sound source located behind this musician, which is composed of at least three orchestra soundproofing devices according to the invention, which are arranged side by side flush with each other, so that the back elements a continuous Form wall and the head parts form an interrupted by at least two recesses arrangement. As a rule, such an orchestra soundproofing wall will be constructed at least between the seating areas for the brass instruments and the musicians arranged in front of it in the sound emission direction. It is possible, but not necessary, that the individual orchestral soundproofing devices are interconnected are, for example, form-fitting or by magnets.

According to a preferred embodiment, the head part is fastened to the back element such that the head part angle can be set in a fixed manner. It is then possible to adjust the angle at which the head part extends relative to the back element, individually to the respective sound insulation situation.

Preferably, the back member is constructed of at least two sub-elements, which are so, in particular displaceable, attached to each other, that the back element height h 12 is adjustable. This has the advantage that the back element height can be adjusted individually, for example, to the size of the musician to be protected or to the height at which the sound source is located.

In an orchestra arrangement according to the invention, the seating is arranged, in particular for the brass, in such a way that the emission direction of the brass instruments runs centrally onto the back element. This means that the location of the greatest sound pressure coincides with a center point of the back element or lies above or below this center point. Of course, this requirement is subject to greater uncertainty, since a brass instrument is usually moved while playing. But it is important that the seating is placed so that the point of maximum sound pressure is as close as possible to the central point.

It is particularly favorable if the chamfers are designed such that V-shaped recesses result.

Such an expression makes it possible to arrange orchestra soundproofing devices arcuately so as to form an orchestra soundproofing wall such that the back elements form a continuous wall. Such an arrangement is particularly close to a typical orchestral seating arrangement.

Dabei zeigt

In the following the invention will be explained in more detail with reference to the accompanying drawings. It shows
FIG. 1
an orchestra soundproofing device according to the invention in a view of the back element,
FIG. 2
the orchestra soundproofing device according to FIG. 1 in a side view and
FIG. 3
an orchestra soundproofing wall according to the invention.
FIG. 4
with the subfigures 4a and 4b shows an alternative embodiment of an orchestra soundproofing device according to the invention.

FIG. 1 shows an orchestra soundproofing device 10 with a back member 12 and a head part 14 which is mounted above the back member 12. It can be seen that the orchestra soundproofing device 10 with two identical orchestra soundproofing devices 10.2 and 10.3 can be arranged flush with each other side by side, so that the back elements 12, 12.2, 12.3 form a continuous wall 16. In this arrangement, the head parts 14, 14.2, 14.3 form one of two recesses 18.1, 18.2 broken arrangement.

FIG. 1 shows that an imaginary circle K, the center of the circle M in an edge region between the back member 12 (here: 12.2) and the head part 14 (here: 14.2) is the diameter D corresponds to 0.9 times a width B of the back member 12 and its circular area A in a compensation plane E (through the head part E (see. FIG. 2 )) through the head part 14, runs within the head part 14. A back element height h 12 of the back element 12 is, for example, H 12 = 140 cm. The total height h 10 is for example 160 cm.

FIG. 2 shows that a head angle α between the head portion 14 and the back member is approximately 135 °. FIG. 2 also schematically shows a seating 20 for an orchestra musician 22.

The head part 14 is made of Plexiglas, for example. Advantageously, the back member 12 comprises a first pad 24 of highly sound absorbing foam facing the sound source. It is also favorable if the back element 12 has a second support 26, which for example also consists of foam, and which faces the orchestra musician 22 to be protected. As a supporting structure, the back element 12 may comprise a wooden board or a thin metal plate, for example made of aluminum.

FIG. 3 shows an inventive orchestra soundproofing wall 28 for reducing a sound effect on the orchestra musician 22, which in the present case comprises three orchestral soundproofing devices 10.1, 10.2, 10.3, which are arranged side by side flush with each other, so that the back elements form the continuous wall 16. The head parts 14.1, 14.2, 14.3 form a coherent arrangement, which has the recesses 18.1, 18.2. It can be seen that the orchestra soundproofing devices 10 (reference numerals without counting suffix designate in each case all objects with the same reference numeral) are arranged in an arc. In other words, the wall 16 formed by the back members 12 does not extend along a plane, but along a curved surface.

The recesses 18 are formed by the fact that the head parts of adjacent orchestra soundproofing devices have chamfers which complement each other to the recesses 18.

FIG. 3 also shows a section of an orchestra arrangement 30, in addition to the orchestra soundproof wall 28 a plurality of in FIG. 3 invisible seating furniture (cf. FIG. 2 ) on which the orchestra musicians 22, 32.1, 32.2, 32.3 sit. The orchestra musician 22 sits in the sound direction behind a brass 32.2. This Orchestra musician 32.2 is placed so that a point P of the highest sound level is centered on the back element 12.2.

FIG. 4a shows a further inventive orchestra soundproofing device 10.1, in which the head part 14.1 is bounded arcuate. FIG. 4a also shows schematically an orchestra soundproofing device 10.2, the head part 14.2 can be pivoted to the back element 12.2, so that the headboard angle α decreases. For example, the head part 14. 1 can be replaced by magnets which are not shown in FIG FIG. 4b be fixed position shown. It is an aspect of the invention that the back element can be constructed from two partial elements 36.1, 36.2, which are movable relative to one another, in particular displaceable. This can be done in FIG. 4b not shown longitudinal guide may be provided. It is also possible that the sub-elements 36.1, 36.2 have rows of holes, so that the back element height h 12 can be changed by screwing the sub-elements 36 together at the desired height. FIG. 4a also shows that the individual orchestral soundproofing devices 10.i (i = 1, 2, 3, ...) are preferably connectable to each other in any order.
