Be it known t at I, FREDERICK JOSEPH lVILDER, citizen of the United States, residing at Boston, in the county of Suffolk and State of Massachusetts, have invented new and useful Improvements in Reinforced Suspender-Straps, of which thefollowing is a s ecification.
he purpose of the invention is to provide a reinforcement for suspender straps which reinforcement shall reinforce the button hole as well as reinforce the strap throughout its length, the object being to so dispose the reinforcement that it will not be subjected to torsional strain when the strap is in use.
To this end there is illustrated one embodiment of thelinvention, 4to which, however, it is not to be restricted. The right is reserved to make such changes or alterations as the actual reduction to practice may suggest, in so far as such changes or alterations are compatible ip lspirit with the annexed (tlaiIl.

what is claimed as new and useful is:
A new article of manufacture comprising a cap piece, straps carried by the cap piece, the said straps being formed with Y button holes adjacent ends remote from the cap piece, and a single lexiblemetallic reinforcing strand disposed centrally within each strap and entering the cap piece and being secured together therein, the said strands running in the direction of the length of the button holes and being formed with eyes in surrounding relation thereto, as herein shown and specified. v
