.T he object Olitlllb' invention is to construct a coat hanger so that a label or index card holder an be embodied therein and form a part thereof. i I i This and other objects of this invention will be fully illustrated in the drawing, de-

In t-he'accompanying drawing:
Figure 1 is a side elevation of the coat hanger provided with the label holder.
Figure 2 is a detail trout elevation or the label holder. r

Figure 4 is a bottom plan View of the label holder.
Figure 5 is a plan view of tle blank l roin which the label holder is formed.
In the Several figures of the drawing like reference numerals indicate like parts.
The subject matter of my, present inven tion comprises a label or.index,card holder that is embodied in a coat hanger so that the garment supported by the hanger can be readily identified and listed or indexed in accordance with an index system.
As illustrated in the figures the coat hanger is preferably bent up tro'ma single piece of wire. A hook 1 is formed in the centerand two loops 2 and 3 are provided at each end. Intermediate of the loops 2 and 3 and below the hook I is formed the rectangular frame l.
As above'pointed out the. h'ang'r is formed trom a single piece of wire which starts with the hook and extends down to the middle of the trame l. It then forms the upper, right hand corner of the 'lrame 4; and then. extends trom the lower right hand corner of the frame.
to the right and back again to form the loop 2-3. From the loops 3 the wire extends along the bottom of the frame 4 from where it pro jccts to the left and back again to form the loop 2 of the hanger. Fromthe inner end sections of the wire are twisted tosiether to make the hanger strong and rigid.
in order to identity or classify the ecting lugs struckout from the front otsaidinsertion of the label under the flanges pro- The frame 4 is supplemented with a label or card holder 5 which is stamped out of sheet metal from-a blank 6 illustrated in Figure 5. 5;
bottom of the frame l as illustrated in Figure '1 in order to hold the depression or pocket centrally of the frame to receive the label or index card.
From the ears are struck up the lugs 13, let, lo and 16 WlllCll are bent to term short guidev channels and overhangingv flanges that; proect over the top and bottom and left hand side of the label or index card. At the right hand side of the label holdere 17 is struck up, but this is short and s not'bent to form a channel or overl'ianging flange. It is.
left this wayin order to allow the label '1';
