IMPROVEMENT IN METALLIC RdOFS- Specification forming part of Letters Patent No. 182.193. dated September 12, 1876 application filed I August 15,1876.

To all whom it may concern:

Be it known that I, LAWRENGE J. HOLETON, of Niles, in the county of Trumbull and State of Ohio, have invented certain new and useful Improvements in Metallic Roofing; and I do hereby declare the following to be a full, clear, and exact description of the invention, such as will enable others skilled in the art to which it pertains to make and use it, reference being had to the accompanying drawings, which form part of this specification.

Y My invention relates to metallic roofing; and consists in the feature of securing the edges of the sections composing said roof, and the capping piece covering said edges, -by notching through said several parts and then bending down the so formed clips.

In the drawing, Figure 1 is an isometric view of a roof according to my invention. Fig. 2 is a view in cross-section, showing the manner in which the several parts are secured together. I
