When the plunger is in this position, the passageway 2 is unrestricted except for that portion of the screw 18 that extends into the passageway.
The screw 18 is designed for permanently restricting the passageway to the desired ex- I tent. It is obviousthat if the operatorwishes,
the screw 18 may be moved -in to thepassageway 2 until it abuts the plunger 10 when the latter is in raised position. 7/ This would out 01f the flow of fluid through thepassagewa 2. The drawing illustrates a mere restrlcting of the passageway 2 when the plunger 10 is fully raised. 7 7 s V The device is extremely simple in construction and is designed to be automatically actuated when used in connection with the device set forth in the application referred to in the first part of the specification.
Although I have shown and described one embodiment of my invention, it is to be understood that the same is susceptible of various changes, and I reserve the 'rlght to employ such changes as may come within the 1 scope of the claims hereto annexed. .Iclaim: V V
A fluid control device comprising a body havinga passage for fluid, a plunger extending at right angles to the passage and designed to be moved into the passage for cutting down the flow of fluid therethrough, a
piston connected to the'plunger and actuated v Lby fluid for moving the plunger, and a' manually adjustable passageway-restricting down the size of the passage and adapted to serve as a stop for the movement of the plungver in one direction. I.
