Description
FIELD OF THE INVENTION

The invention generally relates to a mounting device for a flat screen display panel, and more specifically, an artistic display rack for shielding or showing a flat screen display, and the artistic display rack could be fitted into the whole interior decoration to make users feel more comfortable.

BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION

Generally, the flat screen display has being widely used for saving energy consumption and installation space. These days the flat screen displays, such as plasma televisions, thin film transistor (“TFT”) displays, a liquid crystal display (LCD) and the like, are progressively gaining popularity throughout the marketplace. However, the flat screen device alone is difficult to be mounted, hence the flat screen device ordinarily has to be coupled with a bracket to stand upright or to hang ceiling supports. Therefore, the display was totally exposed to air without any protection of shields, and the bare display was easily damaged and decreased lifetime when receiving an external force, humidity moisture, or electrostatic. Moreover, a small-sized ergonomic flat screen display is not suitably fitted into a room with wild angle design.

This recent proliferation has resulted in many different mounts and mounting techniques. There are several different ways to mount a flat panel display, including hanging ceiling supports, floor stands, and wall mounts. Current flat panel displays can be quite heavy, with the weight increasing as the display size increases. Many traditional mounts require an installer to affix the mount to a supporting surface, then subsequently position the heavy display and align the mounting hardware. This can be a difficult task to appreciate the weight involved in many of today's flat panel displays.

In view of the shortcomings of said known device, the inventor of the present invention studied hard and devised an improved artistic display rack.

DESCRIPTION OF THE PREFERRED EMBODIMENT

The foregoing and other objects, features and advantages of the present invention will be more readily understood upon consideration of the following detailed first and second preferred embodiment's description of the invention, taken in conjunction with the following drawing.

With reference to FIG. 1 and FIG. 2, respectively showing an exploded view and perspective view of the artistic display rack of the preferred embodiment according to the invention. As shown in the figures, the artistic display rack 1 that can cover or show a flat screen display comprises a base 2, an interior hung board 3, and an exterior protective lid 4.

Further, the base 2 includes a frame 21 including a left frame and a right frame, at least two square tubes 22, an axle sleeve 23, a plurality of first slide rail seats 24, a plurality of second slide rail seats 25, a plurality of steel rope wheels 27, a plurality of steel rope wheel retaining seats 26, a plurality of drive elements 28 such as steel ropes, chains, belts or ropes.

First slide rail seats 24 parallel to each other disposed on the bilateral of the frame 21 could match slide rails 43 of the exterior protective lid 4, enabling the base 2 to communicate with the exterior protective lid 4. Both of the square tubes 22 opposite to each other are positioned on the frame 21, and connect to second slide rail seats 25 at their each end, separating the frame 21 into an outer part and an inner part. The inner part of the frame 21 provides a platform where the second slide rail seats 25 communicate with and orientate the second slide rails 31 of the interior hung board 3. The frame 2 fixed to the wall by being screwed fixation or suspension with a plurality of holes 211 disposed on the frame 21. Steel balls 241 and 251 also disposed inside the first and the second rails seats 24 and 25 to facilitate the upward or downward movement more fluently.

The steel rope wheel retaining seats 26, which can direct either horizontally or longitudinally, is connected to the steel rope wheels 27 positioned on the frame 21.

In addition, the axle sleeves 23 mounted on the frame 21, comprises a set of drive structure 5 including at least one of the following elements: a plurality of drive elements constructed of an axis 51 (selectively by steel ropes, chains, belts or ropes), a plurality of axle bearings 52, a pump 54, and all kinds of fixing elements 53. The profile of the axle sleeves 23 and the set of drive structure 5 control the drive elements 28 communicating the interior hung board 3 with the exterior protective lid 4, to drive the movement of the exterior protective lid 4 and its inner part on the rail of the first and the second rails seats 24, 25, whether upwardly, downwardly or outwardly.

The interior hung board 3 could provide a fitting platform, which can have a flat screen display 7 such as plasma TV, or LCD put on it. There is a plurality of slide rails 31 relative to the second slide rail seats 25 positioned parallel with each other on the undersurface of the interior hung board 3.

The exterior protective lid 4 could cover, mate and match the base 2 to protect the base 2, the interior hung board 3 mounted on the base 2, and the flat screen display 7. Through a hinge apparatus 411 annexed to the feet seats 41, the feet seats 41 become foldable and compressible while moving or garnering

With reference to FIG. 4A, FIG. 4B and FIG. 4C, they respectively show a cross-sectional schematic perspective view of the drive structure and distribution of drive elements, and the operating schematic view of the artistic display rack of the first preferred embodiment according to the invention. The artistic display rack 1A is fixed to the wall through screwed fixation or suspension. A fitting painting 6 can be mounted on the outward surface of the exterior protective lid 4A. Therefore, as shown in FIG. 4B the artistic rack 1 could be fitted into the whole interior decoration to make end users feel more comfortable. The artistic display rack will eliminate the possibilities of damage to protect the flat screen display 7.

Referred to FIG. 4B and FIG. 4C, on the each bilateral of the exterior protective lid 4A is mounted inwardly one feet seat having one first slide rails 42A on it, wherein the first slide rails 42A connects, matches and mates to the first slide rail seats 24A of the base. Based on the above-said assemble, the base, the interior board mounted on the base, and the flat screen display 7 will be covered and further protected, not easily broken when received an external force. When a user wants to watch TV, the interior hung board 3A with an installment of a flat screen display 7 will be pulled out downwardly by receiving a drive force employed by the drive structure 5. Meanwhile, the flat screen display 7 is pushed outside the artistic display rack 1A. This embodiment principally describes the downward and upward movement of the interior hung board 3A, with the exterior protective lid 4A immobilized. In other words, the shift of the interior hung board 3A represents a downward open-movement when the display mounted on it is going to be used, and also can exhibit an upward close-movement to reposition when the display mounted on and will be garnered, shown as FIG. 4B.

With reference with FIG. 4A, illustrates a specific mechanism of the above-mentioned action. The interior hung board 3A could complete the downward and upward movement with the exterior protective lid 4A immobilized, the steel ropes 28A, 28A (drive elements) do not connect to the feet seats of the exterior protective lid 4A, wherein drive element retaining seats 511 are fixed on the one end of the steel rope 28A and the other end of the steel rope 28A to orientate with the steel rope wheel 27A, further connecting to drilled heads 32A disposed on one side of the interior hung board 3A. The steel rope wheel 27A can be constantly immobilized in a horizontal or longitudinal direction. The steel rope wheel 28A is identical to steel rope 29A. The steel rope wheel 27A can also be constantly immobilized in a horizontal or longitudinal direction. When the mechanism starts to actuate, a pump 54 will direct an axis to rotate in a constant direction. For example, the axis 51 rotates rightward when the open-movement is proceeding, while the axis 51 rotates leftward when the close-movement is proceeding. Specifically, a drive element retaining seat 511 is attached to an axis 51 to facilitate its (511) leftward or rightward displacement along the axis 51, when the axis 51 starts to rotate leftward or rightward according to the direct of the pump 54. Afterwards, the drive element retaining seats 511 will further tighten or loosen the steel ropes 28A and 29A, pushing the interior hung board 3A outside the artistic display rack 1A (as shown in FIG. 4B) or pulling the interior hung board 3A back to its original position (as shown in FIG. 4C).

Simultaneously, the drive structure 5 is to lift the exterior protective lid 4B up. The shift of the interior hung board 3B and the exterior protective board 4B respectively represents a relative upwardly and downwardly open-movement (as shown in FIG. 5C), and a relative close-movement to reposition when garnered (as shown in FIG. 5B)

Referring to FIG. 5A, it illustrates a specific mechanism of the above-mentioned action. With the interior hung board 3B to complete the downward and upward movement of the exterior protective lid 4B lift up, the steel ropes 28B, 281B, 29B, 291B individually connected to the drilled heads 32B and 43B to mount on the interior hung board 3B and the exterior protective lid 4B. One end of the steel rope 28B is fixed on the drive element retaining seats 511, and the other end of the steel rope 281B is directed by the steel rope wheel 27B, connected to the drilled heads 32B mounted on one side of the interior hung board 3B. Also, one end of the steel rope 281B is fixed on the drive element retaining seats 511, and the other end of the steel rope 28B is directed by the steel rope wheel 27B, connecting to the drilled heads 32B mounted on one side of the interior hung board 3B. The steel rope wheel 27B can be constantly immobilized in a horizontal or longitudinal direction.

The steel rope 29B is operated as the same as the steel rope wheel 28B, one end of the other steel rope 29B is fixed on the drive element retaining seats 511, and the other end of the steel rope 29B is directed by the steel rope wheel 27B, connecting the drilled heads 43B disposed on the other side of the exterior protective board 4B. The steel rope wheel 27B can also be constantly immobilized in a horizontal or longitudinal direction. The steel rope 291B has the same function as the steel rope wheel 281B, one end of the other steel rope 291B is fixed on the drive element retaining seats 511, and the other end of the steel rope 291B is directed by the steel rope wheel 27B, connected to the drilled heads 43B disposed on the other side of the exterior protective board 4B. The steel rope wheel 27B can also be constantly immobilized in a horizontal or longitudinal direction.

When the mechanism starts to actuate, a pump 54 will direct an axis 51 to rotate in a constant direction. For example, the axis 51 rotates rightward when the open-movement is proceeding, while the axis 51 rotates leftward when the close-movement is proceeding. Specifically, a drive element retaining seat 511 such as mobile screws is attached to a axis 51 to facilitate its (511) displacing leftward or rightward along the axis 51, when the axis 51 starts to rotate leftward or rightward based on the direct of the pump 54. Afterwards, the drive element retaining seat 511 will further tighten or loosen the steel rope 28B, 281B, 29B, 291B, pushing the interior hung board 3B downward outside the artistic display rack 11B and pushing the exterior protective lid 4B upward outside the artistic display rack 1B (as shown in FIG. 5B), or pulling the interior hung board 3A back to its original position (as shown in FIG. 4C).
