Abstract
The present invention relates to a hand-gripped clapping device comprising: a hand-gripped clapping device main body which has a palm-shaped main section and a handle section connected with the main section by a connecting segment. The main section has a receiving space for accommodating a light emitting element, a battery unit, a conductive resilient piece and a trigger connected together to form a conductive circuit. A pair of clapping boards pivots respectively on the upper and lower sides of the main section. A limiting piece is provided respectively at the rear side of each clapping board. When in use, user grips the handle and brandishes the clapping device so that the pair of clapping boards conducts opening-closing action just like the clapping of human being. By the way, the clapping action of the clapping boards also beat against the trigger which activates the light emitting elements provided on the main section. The fluorescent light emitted from the light emitting elements blinks in coordination with the pace of the clapping action. In this manner, entertainment effect bustling with sound and light can be further enhanced.

Claims(9)
1. A hand-gripped clapping device, comprising:
a hand-gripped clapping device main body having a main section and a handle connected at the rear side of said main section by a connecting segment, the main section having a receiving space for accommodating a light emitting element, a battery unit, a conductive resilient piece and a trigger connected together to form a conductive circuit,
a pair of clapping boards in shape conformity with said main section of the hand-gripped clapping device, the rear side edge of each clapping board pivoting respectively on the upper and lower sides of said main section such that the two clapping boards clip the main section of the hand-gripped clapping device main body, a limit piece being provided at the rear side of each clapping board for abutting against the projecting reinforcing ribs provided on the upper and the lower faces of the connecting segment of hand-gripped clapping device main body in the brandishing of the hand-gripped clapping device.
2. A hand-gripped clapping device as claimed in claim 1, wherein said main section of the hand-gripped clapping device main body, said connecting segment and said handle section are integrally formed by injection molding.
3. A hand-gripped clapping device as claimed in claim 1, wherein said main section of the hand-gripped clapping device main body is formed into palm shape.
4. A hand-gripped clapping device as claimed in claim 1, wherein each said clapping board is formed into palm shape.

A hand-gripped clapping device as claimed in claim 1, wherein said main section of the hand-gripped clapping device main body is formed into palm shape, and each clapping board is formed as a palm shape which is in shape conformity with said main section of the hand-gripped clapping device main body.

A hand-gripped clapping device as claimed in claim 1, wherein a plurality of reinforcing ribs are provided on the upper and lower faces respectively of said connecting segment, said limit piece just abutting against the projecting reinforcing ribs in the brandishing of the hand-gripped clapping device.
7. A hand-gripped clapping device as claimed in claim 6, wherein said plurality of reinforcing ribs are provided with their middle parts projecting outward.

A hand-gripped clapping device as claimed in claim 1, wherein a through hole is provided on said main section of the hand-gripped clapping device main body and a hook-shape engagement portion is provided respectively on the inner side of each clapping board, an elastic element which penetrates through said through hole being clasped onto said hook-shape engagement portions for the linking between the pair of clapping boards.

A hand-gripped clapping device as claimed in claim 1, wherein a through hole is formed on one of the pair of clapping boards and a cutoff piece is freely inserted into said through hole to cut off the ON state of the circuit formed among the light emitting element, the battery unit, the conductive resilient piece and the trigger.

    BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION

    The present invention relates to a hand-gripped clapping device, more particularly to a hand-gripped clapping device having a novel palm-shaped design which can conduct hand-clapping action cooperated with fluorescent light blinking in coordination with the pace of the clapping action. In this manner, entertainment effect in activities can be further enhanced by the new design of hand-gripped clapping device.

    2. Brief Description of the Prior Art

    Generally, clapping, whistling and air horn sounding are often used to make acoustic effect, or brandishing of lightstick and flag, letting-off firework are also used for the enhancement of entertainment effect bustling with sound and light in activities such as business promotion, literature and art, election campaign, sports contest or music concert performance activities, so as to raise pleasant atmosphere of the activities.

    Lightstick in early stage emits light in predetermined time duration by the mutual reaction between chemical substances contained within a flexible plastic tube. However, the lightsticks thus produced are often discarded everywhere by users after the falling out of light emission. In case of rupture of the plastic tube due to tramping, the exudation of the residual chemical substances out of the plastic tube becomes hazardous to dustbin man. Besides, the chemical substances are also hazardous to the environment.

    In order to solve the above problem, a sleeve coated with fluorescent dye is used to cooperate with light emitting diode so as to achieve the effect of emitting fluorescent light, in which the light emitting diode is a UV fluorescent light source and the sleeve is coated with long-service-life fluorescent dye or glow-in-the-dark powder. The light with predetermined wave length emitted by the UV fluorescent light source stimulates the fluorescent dye coated on the sleeve so as to emit fluorescent light. The above solution can solve the problem of hazard to both personnel and environment caused by the residual chemical substances exudation out of the traditional lightstick in which the fluorescent light is generated by the mutual reaction between chemical substances. However, except the fundamental function of light emission, the above solution is in lack of additional functions to cope with the market demand. In addition to the fundamental light emitting effect, lightstick should have extraordinary design or special functions for the enhancement of competitiveness so as to avoid early drop-out on the market. Therefore, new design or improvement of lightstick has been under continuous developing in order to take the market share.

    Keeping an eye on the market demand, the inventor of this invention thus bring about this new design of hand-gripped clapping device according to the improvement made with respect to the conventional lightstick after continuous contemplation and design based on the experience and knowledge accumulated in the long term involvement of relevant field. Therefore, higher practical effectiveness of the hand-gripped clapping device can certainly be expected.
  • SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION

    The present invention relates to a hand-gripped clapping device which is used in activity such as business promotion, literature and art, and music concert performance to bustle with sound and light and to enhance the buildup of pleasant atmosphere, wherein the hand-gripped clapping device of this invention has a hand-gripped clapping device main body comprising a palm-shaped main section and a handle section integrally connected with the main section by a connecting segment, the main section having a receiving space for accommodating a light emitting element, a battery unit, a conductive resilient piece and a trigger connected together to form a conductive circuit, a pair of clapping boards pivoting respectively on the upper and lower sides of the main section, a limiting piece being provided respectively at the rear side of each clapping board such that the limiting pieces abut against the connecting segment to avoid the pair of clapping boards from rupturing due to excessive swinging in the brandishing of the hand-gripped clapping device. When in use, user grips the handle section and brandishes the hand-gripped clapping device so that the pair of clapping boards conducts opening-closing action just like hand-clapping of human being. By the way, the clapping action of the clapping boards also beat against the trigger which activates the light emitting element provided on the main section. The fluorescent light emitted from the light emitting elements blinks in coordination with the pace of the clapping action. In this manner, entertainment effect bustling with sound and light can be further enhanced.

  • DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE PREFERRED EMBODIMENTS

    The technical content, objects and effectiveness of the present invention will become more apparent by the detailed description of the following preferred embodiments of the present invention with reference to the accompanied drawings.

    Firstly referring to FIG. 1 showing the perspective view of the hand-gripped clapping device of the present invention, the hand-gripped clapping device is formed by a pair of clapping boards (2) pivoting respectively on the upper and lower sides of the clapping device main body (1). As shown in FIG. 2, the hand-gripped clapping device main body (1) mainly has a palm-shaped main section (11). A handle section (13) is integrally formed at the rear side of the main section (11) by injection molding and connected by a connecting segment (12). The main section (1) has a receiving space (111) where a light emitting element (14), a battery unit (15), a conductive resilient piece (16) and a trigger (17) connected together to form a conductive circuit are accommodated therein. When a cutoff piece (18) is freely inserted at the rear side of the battery unit (15), the ON state of the circuit formed among the light emitting element (14), the battery unit (15), the conductive resilient piece (16) and the trigger (17) can be cut off. The trigger (17) is pivotally connected in the receiving space (111), one end of the trigger (17) abutting against the battery unit (15) freely and the other end suspending in the air outside the receiving space (111). A through hole (112) for the penetration of an elastic element (21) connecting between the upper and the lower clapping boards (2) is provided on the main section (11). A plurality of reinforcing ribs (121) with their middle part projecting outward are provided on the upper and lower faces respectively of the connecting segment (12) for enhancing the strength so as to be endurable to the brandishing action. The handle section (13) is for the gripping by user so that user can brandish the main section (11) of the hand-gripped clapping device main body (1).

    The two clapping boards (2) are formed with palm shape and are in shape conformity with the main section (11) of the hand-gripped clapping device main body (1). The rear side edge of each palm shape clapping board (2) pivots on the main section (11) of the hand-gripped clapping device main body (1) such that the two clapping boards (2) clip the main section (11) of the hand-gripped clapping device main body (1). A limit piece (22) is provided at the rear side of each clapping board (2). As shown in FIGS. 3 and 4, when user brandishes the hand-gripped clapping device, the limiting piece (22) of each clapping board (2) abuts against the projecting reinforcing ribs (121) provided on the upper and the lower faces of the connecting segment (12) of hand-gripped clapping device main body (1) such that each clapping board (2) and the main section (11) of the hand-gripped clapping device main body (1) are prevented from breaking due to excessive swinging in the brandishing of the hand-gripped clapping device. Furthermore, a hook-shape engagement portion (23) is provided respectively on the inner side of each clapping board (2) for the clasping of an elastic element (21) between the two clapping board (2). Thus, the two clapping board (2) are further prevented from rupturing by the dragging force exerted on the elastic element (21) in the brandishing of the hand-gripped clapping device. A through hole (24) is provided on one of the clapping boards (2) for the penetration of the cutoff piece (18).

    According to this structure, as shown in FIGS. 3 and 4, when user grips the handle section (13) of the hand-gripped clapping device main body (1) and brandishes the hand-gripped clapping device in coordination with the pace of the activity, the hand-gripped clapping device main body (1) swings substantially with the connecting segment (12) as the pivot center. The clapping boards (2) pivoting on the main section (11) of the hand-gripped clapping device main body (1) is subjected to the action of the centrifugal force exerted by the swinging motion, and is limited by the abutment of the limiting pieces (22) of the clapping boards (2) against the reinforcing ribs (121) on the connecting segment (12) of the hand-gripped clapping device main body (1) as well as the elastic dragging force exerted by the elastic element (21), to repeatedly beat against the main section (11) of the hand-gripped clapping device main body (1). In addition to the sound exerted by the beating, one end of the trigger (17) is pressed by the repeated beating of the clapping boards (2) against the main section (11) of the hand-gripped clapping device main body (1) such that the trigger (17) is intermittently in ON state with the battery unit (15). Thus, the light emitting element (14) which is connected with the battery unit (15) blinks in different way as general lightstick to achieve entertainment effect.

    Furthermore, as shown in FIG. 2, a lead wire can be provided on each limiting piece (22) of the pair of clapping boards (2) and a lead wire is also provided at the reinforcing rib (121) contacted by each limiting piece (22). When the limiting piece (22) of each clapping board (2) abuts against respective reinforcing rib (121) on the connecting segment (12) of the hand-gripped clapping device main body (1), the contact of the lead wires makes the circuit of the light emitting element (14) within the receiving space (111) of the main section (11) into ON state such that the light emitting element (14) can emit light.

    Based on the foregoing structure and embodiment, the present invention has advantages listed as follow:

    (1). The present invention presents the hand-gripped clapping device with a palm-shape design that has apparent distinction with the conventional cylindrical shape of lightstick. Therefore, the hand-gripped clapping device of this invention has extraordinary design or special functions so as to form a special market segment which is quite different from the conventional lightstick. Hence, competitiveness is greatly enhanced.

    (2) when user grips the handle section and brandishes the hand-gripped clapping device of this invention, the palm-shape clapper main body having 3 members in pivoting relationship can present clapping action and issue clapping sound. In addition, the light emitting element provided on the hand-gripped clapping device main body blinks in coordination with the pace of the clapping action. In this manner, entertainment effect bustling with sound and light can be further enhanced.

    (3) A plurality of reinforcing ribs are provided on the upper and lower faces respectively of the connecting segment for increasing the strength so as to be endurable to the brandishing action. The hand-gripped clapping device of this invention has longer service life.

    (4) The limit piece provided at the rear side of each clapping board just abuts against the projecting reinforcing ribs provided on the upper and the lower faces of the connecting segment of hand-gripped clapping device main body such that each clapping boards and the main section of the hand-gripped clapping device main body are prevented from breaking due to excessive swinging in the brandishing of the hand-gripped clapping device. Therefore, the service life of the hand-gripped clapping device of this invention is further extended.
