Abstract
A sewage pump has a shaft with an upward rotor penetrating a dividing ring base at a top end of the combination housing to integrate with a centrifugal switch. Two opposite sides inside the dividing ring base respectively have supporting elements to make a start capacitor and a run capacitor been supported therebetween so that each element within the combination housing on the dividing ring base has optimum orientation and arrangement.
Description
- 1. Field of the Invention
- The present invention relates to a sewage pump, and more particularly to a sewage pump that has a shaft with an upward rotor penetrating a dividing ring base on a top end of a combination housing to integrate with a centrifugal switch and has two supporting elements respectively attached to two opposite sides inside the dividing ring base to support a start capacitor and a rung capacitor therebetween so that each element has optimum orientation and arrangement.
- 2. Description of Related Art
- A conventional sewage pump in accordance with the prior art, as shown in
FIG. 1 , its combination comprises apump housing 10 having rotor at center and a cylindrical stator surrounding around the rotor (not shown). One end of thepump housing 10 combines with a dividingring base 20 to assemble astart capacitor 30 and arun capacitor 40 thereon. Moreover, upper and lower ends are further combined with relative accessories to achieve the sewage pump combination to provide power for treating sewage. After, the conventional sewage pump has some drawbacks needed to be resolved such as thestart capacitor 30 is easily burned and has short lifespan because it is suspended in ON operation. - One main objective of the present invention is to provide a sewage pump that has a shaft with an upward rotor penetrating a dividing ring base at a top end of the combination housing to integrate with a centrifugal switch.
- Another main objective of the present invention is to provide a sewage pump that further has two supporting elements respectively attached to two opposite sides within the dividing ring base to support a start capacitor and a run capacitor therebetween so that each element in the sewage pump has optimum orientation and arrangement.
- To achieve the foregoing objectives, the sewage pump comprises a pump housing, a central rotor and a surrounding stator accommodated in the pump housing, a dividing ring base attached to one end of the pump housing to combine with a start capacitor and a run capacitor;
- improvements of the sewage pump comprise:
- the central rotor faces upward and has a shaft penetrating the dividing ring base to integrate with a centrifugal switch;
- two supporting elements are attached two sides of the dividing ring base respectively to support the start capacitor and the run capacitor so that each element in the sewage pump has optimum orientation and arrangement.
- Further benefits and advantages of the present invention will become apparent after a careful reading of the detailed description with appropriate reference to the accompanying drawings.

FIG. 5 is a schematic operational view showing that two supporting elements on the dividing ring base support a start capacitor and a run capacitor therebetween. - A sewage pump in accordance with the present invention comprises a shaft with an upward rotor penetrating a dividing ring base at a top end of the combination housing to integrate with a centrifugal switch. Two opposite sides inside the dividing ring base have two supporting elements respectively to make a start capacitor and a run capacitor been secured thereon between the two supporting elements so that each element within the dividing ring base has optimum orientation and arrangement.
- With reference to
FIGS. 2 and 3 , a preferred first embodiment of a sewage pump comprises apump housing 11, acentral rotor 12 and a surroundingstator 13 mounted inside the pump housing, a dividingring base 14 attached to one end of thepump housing 11, acentrifugal switch 3 with a start capacitor to operationally cut off the power supply, atop abutting plate 15 covering thecentrifugal switch 3, and twocovers 16 respectively attached to upper and lower ends of thepump housing 11 to achieve thesewage pump combination 1. - When the foregoing-mentioned elements are assembled (as shown in
FIGS. 2 to 4 ), thecentral rotor 12 and the surroundingstator 13 are accommodated inside thepump housing 11. One end of thepump housing 11 is to combine with a dividingring base 14. Therotor 12 has ashaft 121 penetrating a throughhole 141 within the dividing ring base 14 (as shown inFIG. 4 ) to cooperate with acentrifugal switch 3 sleeving and secured at a top of theshaft 121 by acushion 31 andthreads 32 to combine together (as shownFIG. 2 ). A top surface of thecentrifugal switch 3 is attached to a topabutting plate 15 rested on multiple dividingframes 142 on the dividingring base 14 and positioning by threads (as shown inFIG. 2 ). Two supportingelements 143 are formed on the dividingring base 14 respectively at two opposite sides on the same surface with thedividing frames 142. Twosleeving elements 144 are mounted on the two supportingelements 143 respectively. Each sleeving element is a loop to hold thestart capacitor 21 or therun capacitor 22 on the corresponding supportingelement 143 so that thecapacitors FIG. 5 ) to complete thesewage pump combination 1. Thereby, each element in thesewage pump combination 1 has optimum orientation and arrangement. - Although this invention has been described in its preferred form with a certain degree of particularity, it is understood that the present invention of the preferred form has been made only by way of example and that numerous changes in the details of construction and the combination and arrangement of parts any be resorted to without departing from the spirit and scope of the invention.
Claims (3)
1. A sewage pump comprising a pump housing, a central rotor and a surrounding stator accommodated in the pump housing, a dividing ring base attached to one end of the pump housing to combine with a start capacitor and a run capacitor;
improvement of the sewage pump comprises:
the central rotor faces upward and has a shaft penetrating the dividing ring base to integrate with a centrifugal switch.
2. The sewage pump as claimed in claim 1 , wherein
improvement of the sewage pump further comprises:
two supporting elements are attached two sides of the dividing ring base respectively to support the start capacitor and the run capacitor so that each element in the sewage pump has optimum orientation and arrangement.
3. The sewage pump as claimed in claim 2 , wherein each of the two supporting elements has a sleeving element being a loop to hold the start capacitor or the run capacitor.
