  • The grooming tools 102 are received in the container 104 for storage thereof. In an embodiment of the present invention, the container 104 may be configured as a cuboidal structure as shown in FIG. 1. Accordingly, the container 104 may have a rectangular top surface such as a top surface 120 and a rectangular bottom surface (not shown), and four peripheral walls (hereinafter referred to as “peripheral walls”). • It will be evident to a person skilled in the art that apart from the cuboidal shape, the container 104 may be configured to have other shapes also such as a spherical shape, a cylindrical shape, a polygonal shape, and the like.
  • Moreover, the container 104 includes a slit 124 configured on the container 104. In an embodiment of the present invention, the slit 124 may be configured on any one peripheral wall of the peripheral walls of the container 104. For example, as shown in FIG. 1, the slit 124 is configured on the peripheral wall 122 a. However, it will be apparent to a person skilled in the art that the slit 124 may be also configured on any one of the top surface 120 or the bottom surface of the container 104. The slit 124 enables the container 104 to receive the grooming tools 102 therewithin. More specifically, the grooming tools 102 may be received within the cavity of the container 104 through the slit 124. In an embodiment of the present invention, a plurality of slits, similar to the slit 124, may be configured on the container 104.
  • The container 104 further includes a fastening mechanism 126 configured on the slit 124. The fastening mechanism 126 is configured over the slit 124 such that the fastening mechanism 126 is capable of openably closing the slit 124 for enabling accessibility to the cavity of the container 104 through the slit 124. More particularly, the slit 124 attains an opened position and a closed position with the help of the fastening mechanism 126 for enabling access and restricting access, respectively, to the cavity. Accordingly, the slit 124, the fastening mechanism 126 and the cavity enable a person to securely store the grooming tools 102 within the container 104.
  • In an embodiment of the present invention, the fastening mechanism 126 may include a zipper mechanism. However, the fastening mechanism 126 may include any other suitable fastening arrangement, such a hook and a loop fastener arrangement made from Velcro material, for openably closing the slit 124.
  • The container 104 may further include a holding member 128 configured thereon. More specifically, the holding member 128 is configured on any one peripheral wall of the four peripheral walls. The holding member 128 enables a person to conveniently hold the container 104 for easy portability of the container 104. It will be apparent to a person skilled in the art that the holding member 128 may have a variety of configurations that enables a person to hold the container 104 by placing the holding member 128 circumscribing his/her shoulder portion, waist portion, and the like.
  • Moreover, the container 104 may further include a supporting member 130 configured thereon. More particularly, the supporting member 130 may be configured on a peripheral wall, such as the peripheral wall 122 b. The supporting member 130 enables a person for conveniently open and close the slit 124. More specifically, the person may hold the supporting member 130 while opening and closing the slit 124 using the fastening mechanism 126.
  • Further, without limiting the scope of the present invention, the container 104 may be a transparent container preferably composed of a plastic material. More specifically, the container 104 is composed of a clear vinyl plastic material that renders the container 104 transparent. However, it will be apparent to a person skilled in the art that the container 104 may be composed of any other materials known in the art such as a leather material, a rubber material, and so on. It should be obvious to a person skilled in the art that the configuration of the container 104 as set forth herein is for the purpose of illustration and description only and should not be considered a limitation of the grooming kit 100.
  • In use, the kit 100 having the grooming tools 102 contained within the container 104 may be carried by a person while visiting a beauty salon or a grooming technician for grooming operations such as manicure treatment, pedicure treatment and any artificial nail application. The grooming technician or a beauty salon technician may use the grooming tools 102 of the kit 100 for performing the grooming operations on the hands and feet of the person. The usage of the grooming tools 102 may be hygienic for the person as the grooming tools 102 are exclusively used on the person only. The exclusive usage of the grooming tools 102 reduces spreading of bacterial infections and irritation in hands and feet of the person.
  • In an exemplary embodiment of the present invention, the container 104 of the grooming kit 100 may be about 5 inches in width and about 7 inches in length. Moreover, the grooming tools 102 included in the grooming kit 100 may be of professional grade that are preferably used by beauty salon technicians and grooming technicians.
  • The grooming kit explained in conjunction with FIG. 1 may be advantageously used for performing grooming operations on hands and feet of a person in a sanitized manner. Moreover, the grooming kit may be carried by a person while visiting a beauty salon technician or a grooming technician for grooming his/her hands. Accordingly, a probability of spreading of bacterial infections and irritations in hands and feet of the user may be reduced since each person carries his/her personal grooming kit. Further, usage of personal grooming kits, such as the grooming kit 100, by people obviates a need for a beauty salon or the grooming technicians to maintain their own inventory of the various grooming tools. As a result, the expenditure for a salon owner or a grooming technician to maintain the inventory of the various grooming tools is reduced.
  • The foregoing descriptions of specific embodiments of the present invention have been presented for purposes of illustration and description. They are not intended to be exhaustive or to limit the present invention to the precise forms disclosed, and obviously many modifications and variations are possible in light of the above teaching. The embodiments were chosen and described in order to best explain the principles of the present invention and its practical application, and to thereby enable others skilled in the art to best utilize the present invention and various embodiments with various modifications as are suited to the particular use contemplated. It is understood that various omissions and substitutions of equivalents are contemplated as circumstances may suggest or render expedient, but such omissions and substitutions are intended to cover the application or implementation without departing from the spirit or scope of the claims of the present invention.
