; 3 Applicationlylay I This invention relates to new and useful improvements in a display device fordetermining the shade of finger nail polish.
.vMore specifically the invention proposes the construction of display devices for determining the shade of finger nail polish characterized by a device arranged in a manner to permit a set of V finger nail polish tips having nail polish of a particular color applied thereto to be mounted in position over the nails of 'onesfingers in amanner to determine whether or not -theshade of the polish is desirable before the polish is actually applied to the nails. 7
;,,Another object of'this invention resides in the construction of a display device orthe type described which is characterized ,by a form upon which ones hand maybe rested, said form having a recess for receiving and holding ones wrist for steadying ones hand, and also having finger recesses for receiving ones finger .tips. It is proposed that the finger nail tips displaying the diiierent shades be removab-ly mounted across said finger recesses.
Still further the invention rop ses the con struction of a form provided with a recess into] which the palm and fingersof ones hand may 7 be engaged and which is provided with a latch means; or holding the nail polish tips in :posi-' tion across the fingertip portions and the re- 0 palm cess in amanner to permit ones nails to .be engaged beneath the nailpolish tips when the and fingers are rested inthe recess. a
Still another object of the invention proposes the provision of a novel latch means forsecurely mounting the nail polish tips in position across the fingertip portion of the'reccsses in a manner which will permit the nail polish tips Still another object of the invention proposes connecting the nail polish tips, which form a set, together by means of a flexible strand in a manner to permittheir engagement with the latch means and removal therefrom as a unit.
Still another obiectof the invention proposes providing a number of sets" of nail polish tipswith each set being differently colored in aman: her to be selectively used with the 'form in" a manner to permit the proper shade of nail polish to be determined.
For further comprehension of I the invention, and of the objects and advantages thereof, 'ref- T erenoe' will be hadto the following description and accompanying drawings, and to the ap- 25, 1944, Serial N 537,314 16 Claims. (Gl.f35-59) v on line 0 Fi -li- .1 :1-
