SPECIFICATION forming part of Letters Patent No. 273,834, dated March 13, 1883.

To all whom it may concern:
Be it known that I, \VILLIAM l. (incomes, a citizen of the United States, residing at Seymour, in the county of Jackson, State of Indiana, have invented certain new and useful Improvements in Screw-Gases; and I do hereby declare the following to be a full, clear, and exact description of the invention, such as will enable others skilled in the art to which it appertains to make and use the same, reference being had to the accompanying drawings, and to letters or figures of reference marked thereon, which form a part of this specification.
Figure l is a sectional view of my newly-invented screw-case. Fig.2 is a bottom view of the same. Fig. 3 is an edge view of the case. Fig. 4 is a view of the pivotal circular tablet in the center of the bottom of the screw-case, which serves as an axis for the case to revolve Heretofore screw cases have been made which presented, when viewed in elevation, a cone-shaped pedestal some thirty inches high with compartments or drawers.
The leading feature of my invention and for which I claim a patent consists in a circular case not over six inches high, and not over thirty-six inches in diameter, and divided into sections orapartments, as shown in Fig. 1.
A is the lid or covering of the case. B is the hinged half-cover raised. 0 is the outside rim of the case. a, a, and a are the divisions for the different-sized screws.
