HAIR PULLING TWEEZERS Filed Oct. 22, 1956 United States Patent 0 HAIR PULLING TWEEZERS Frederick L. Jerry, Detroit, Mich.
Application October 22, 1956, Serial No. 617,326
1 Claim. (Cl. 128-354) This invention relates to improvement in hair pulling tweezers, the prime object of the invention being to devise a pair of tweezers that would enable the user to remove hair that is hidden in bumps that present tweezers can not get at, or removing of slivers, glass or other particles that might get embedded in ones hand, arm, legs or other parts of the body.
For the attainment of these and other such objects as may appear or be pointed out I have shown an embodiment of my invention in the accompanying drawing, wherein:
Fig. 1 is a plan view of tweezers showing my invention attachment in broken lines.
"ice
Fig. 2 is a side section cut-away view of my invention attached to said tweezers.
Fig. 3 is a side view showing my invention attached to said tweezer.
The tweezers in Figures 1, 2 and 3 consist of two pinchers Al and BI. Pincher AI is provided with a slot 2 thus enabling button 3 to pass backward and forward. Button 3 is attached to plunger 4 which is provided with a needle 5. The plunger and needle assembly fits in cylinder 6 which is secured to the under side of pincher AI. When button 3 is pushed forward, the needle 5 protrudes past the lip of Al, as shown in Figure 3. This enables the user of the said tweezers to lift the embedded particle in a position so that it can be pulled out of the way by pulling back on the button 3.
I claim:
In a device of the class described the combination of a pair of tweezers having attached thereon a cylinder having a plunger, the said plunger being provided with a needle whereby when the plunger is pushed forward in said cylinder the said needle protrudes out past said cylinder.
