Be it known that we, JAMES WV. MILLER and ISAAC M. MILLER, of Newark, county of Essex, State of New Jersey, have originated a useful Design for Ornament-ing Buttons, Studs, Lockets, Medallions, Charms, Pins, and Ear-Rings, of which the following is a full, clear, and exact description, reference being had to the accompanying photographic illustrations, making part of this specification.

X represents the letters of the alphabet, as shown by photographicillustrations, which are of a rustic pattern, ornamented by leaves, represented at x, and are what we desire to secure by Letters Patent.
