DESIGN FOR BOTTLES.

Specification forming part of Design No. 10,676, dated May 7, 1878; application filed April 12, 1878. [Term of patent 7' years] To all whom it may concem:

Be it known that I, CBARLES A. TATUM, of the city, County, and State of New York, have produced or invented a new and original Design for a Bottle, of which the following is a specification:

The nature of my design is illust'ated in the aeeompanyig drawing, Figure 1 being a side View of the bottle; Fig. 2, a. seotional plan View of the body, showing the conformation of the same; and Fig. 3, a transverse section.

The bottle has opposite flat sides a a and opposite rounded ends b, which join the flat sides abruptly at the points x. The bottle is of an ohlong shape, the flat sides a a being wider than the bottle is thick. The body of the bottle is rounded at the top, where it joins the neck; but each fiat portion a has :m arched top, e, which does not extend up to the neek.

I claim- The within-desoribed design forabottle, said design oomprising the opposite flat sides a, with arehed tops e, and the rounded ends b, 'joining the flat sides abruptly at m, and rounded at the top, where they join the neck, all substantially as described, and as shown in and by the aceompanying drawing.
