Specification forming part of Design No. 1 1,462, dated October 2l, 1879, application filed Sepclnber 26, 1879.

[Term of patent 7 years] T0 all whom it may concern:

Bo it known that I, Swirs CONDE, of Oswego, in the county of Oswego, in the State of New York, have invented new and useful Improvements in Designs for Plain Knit Drawers, of which the following, taken in connection with the accompanying drawing, is a full, clear, and eXactdescription.

The accompanying drawing represents a pair of drawers knitted to present what is termed a plain face-f. e., free of ribs.

a and a denote plain, colored, and mottled stripes, respectively, the mottled stripes be- 1n g generally composed partly of the color of the plain stripes. These stripes are ar 1an ged perfectly straight and parallel to each other, and vertically in relation to the garment.

W hat I claim as my invention is- The design for plain knit drawers, consisting of straight, mottled, and plain stripes arranged alternately and parallel to each other, and vertically in relation to the garment, suhstantially as described and shown in the aceompanying illustration.
