PATENT OFFICE DESIGN FOR AN ELASTIC FABRIC Eugene Franklin Gaines, deceased, late of Bala,
Pa., by Jean S. Gaines, administratrix, Narberth, Pa.
To all whom it may concern:
Be it known that I, Jean S. Gaines, a citizen of the United States of America, residing at Narberth, in the county of Montgomery and State oi Pennsylvania, administratrix of the estate of Eugene Franklin Gaines, deceased, late a citizen of the United States of America and a resident of Baia, in the county of Montgomery and State of Pennsylvania, do hereby declare that ne invented anew, original, and ornamental Design for an Elastic Fabric, of which the following is a specication, reference being had to the accompanying drawing, forming part thereof.
Fig. I is a front View of an elastic fabric embodying the ornamental design or this invention, te which no tension is applied.
Fig. II is a View of the elastic fabric depicted in Fig. I, as it appears when subjected to approximately 100% stretch longitudinally of the fabric; and
Fig, III is a view of the fabric in Fig. I as it appears when subjected to substantial stretching transversely of the ia-bric.
The iigures disclose the elastic fabric enlarged approximately 11/2 times normal size s0l that they will be approximately full size upon reduction of the saine to the ultimate size as appears in the patent copy.
The reverse side of the fabric has substantially the same appearance as the front side shown in the several figures.
The ornamental design for an elastic fabric as shown and described.
