Be it known that I, Benjamin Lapidus, a citizen of the United States and resident of Brooklyn, in the county of Kings and State of New York, have invented a new, original, and ornamental Design for a License Plate or Similar Article, of which the following is a specification, reference being had to the accompanying drawing, forming part thereof, in which,
Fig. 1 is a front elevational view of a license plate frame embodying my new design.
Fig. 2 is a cross sectional view thereof taken substantially on the line 2-2 of Fig. 1.
Fig. 3 is a top plan view thereof, and
Fig. 4 is a rear elevational view thereof.
The design is characterized by two identical,
symmetrical U-shaped members between which are interposed two identical connectors. Said connectors comprise a central collar of larger external transverse contour than the external transverse contour of said U-shaped members, and end collars abutting the ends of said U- shaped members. The end collars have'an external transverse contour identical to the external transverse contour of said U-shaped memhers.
