DESIGN FOR GLASSWARE.
SPE(.Z'IFICMLTION` forming part of Design N o. 13,043, dated July 18, 1882. Application filed May 13, 1882. Term of patent 7 years.
To all whom it may concern:
Be it known that I, EDWARD T. BURGESS, of the village of Corning, in the county of Steuben and State ofNew York, have invented a new and original Design to be Gut into or upon Glassware for the purpose of ornamenting the same;.and I do hereby declare that the following is a full and clear description of' the same, reference being had to the annexed drawing, (Patent Oiice No. 6l,197,) which makes a part of this description and specifica tion.
This design is a combination of diamonds, hexagons, and stars formed by a series ot' parallel Initer cuts into the surface of the glassware, said figures being brought to' a point or left; with fiat surfaces, according to the depth of the out. The miter cuts or grooves are designated in the annexed drawing by lines A A, B B, and O O, cui: or running across the surzo face at the respective angles of 580, 00, and 900, so as to form saidgures, as shown.
