This design is represented in the accompanying engraving.

The general configuration of the vase is cir- The base a is cylindricahwith the coves b c, astragal molding c, bead (I, and circular bottomf to the elliptical body of the vase, as shown. Around the body there are the moldings at h and k, the latter being wreathed with The upper part of the vase is coved at l, the surl'ace of which is ornamented with a wreath of leaves. The top is molded at m, as represented. Upon the surface of the vase are reeds n, rosettes 0, and flower ornaments p,

I claim as my invention- 1. The design ot'the shnpeand configuration of the elliptic-.11 body and molded base and top of the vase, as represented.

2. The design of the ornamental reeds, rosettes, and storlts in reliet'on the surface of the vase, substantially as represented.

3. The design of the scroll and leaflet handles, substantially as represented.
