UNITED STATES PATENT OFFICE DESIGN FOR A FOLDING DISPENSING PACKAGE OR SIMILAR ARTICLE Leroy L. Salfisberg, South Orange, N. J assignor to Ivers-Lee Company, Newark, N. J a corporation of Delawarev To all whom it may conce n:
Be it known that I, Leroy L. Salfisberg, a citizen of the United States, and a resident of South Orange, in the county of Essex and State of New Jersey, have invented a new, original, and ornamental Design for a Folding Dispensing Package or Similar Article, of which the following is a specification, reference being had to the accompanying drawing forming part thereof.
Figure 1 is a perspective view of a folding dispensing package showing my new design, with the package unfolded for opening,
Figure 2 is a similar view showing the package folded and closed,
Figure 3 is a transverse vertical sectional View on the line 33 of Figure 2,
Figure 4 is a fragmentary elevational view on an enlarged scale of a portion of the inner envelope of the folding dispensing package or similar article showing the nature of the crimped border, and
Figure 5 is a fragmentary top plan view of the portion of the folding dispensing package or similar article shown in Figure 4.
The characteristic features of my design reside in the portions shown in full lines and the design is characterized by the plurality of parallel elongate rectangular transparent portions each symmetrically embossed on both of opposite sides and arranged within a generally rectangular translucent crimped border whose crimps or corrugations extend approximately perpendicularly to the respective margins of said rectangular transparent portion, there being a straight transparent portion along each longitudinal edge 7 of each crimped border, as shown.
The ornamental design for a folding dispensing package or similar article, as shown and described.
