PATENT OFFICE DESIGN FOR A COMBINED PENCIL AND KNIFE To all whom it may concern:
Be it known that I, Jacob M. Weiss, a citizen of the United States and a resident of the Borough of Brooklyn, county of Kings, city and State of New York, have invented a new, original, and ornamental Design for a Combined Pencil and Knife, of which the following is a specification, reference being had to the accompanying drawing, forming a part thereof.
Fig. 1 is an enlarged front view of a combined pencil and knife showing my design.
Fig. 2 is an exploded side view of the knife and lead container and the lower portion of the pencil holder shown in Fig. 1.
Fig. 3 is an elevational view of the knife and lead container only, taken at right angles to the disclosure in Fig. 2.
The characteristic feature of my design resides in the combination disclosed in the specific design of the pencil and knife having a rounded off cap, a band of fiuting at the upper portion of the tapered end in combination with the specific design of the blade holder as shown.
The ornamental design for a combined pencil and knife, substantially as shown and described.
JACOB M. WEISS.
