DESIGN FOR A MITT.
SPECIFICATION formingpart of Design No. 14,580, dated January 29, 1884.
Application filed November 26, 1883. Term of patent 7 years.
To all whom it may concern:
Be it known that I, WARREN I. JENNINGS, a. resident of Brooklyn, in the county of Kings and State of New York, have invented and produced a new and original Design for Ladies Mitts, of which the following is a full description,'in connection with the accompanying photograph, which represents a face View of my new design for a mitt.
This invention relates to a new design for ladies mitts; and it consists in the arrangement of apertures that form figures for ornamenting the mitt, as hereinafter more fully described.
Atthe upper end the mitt A. has an ornamental band, which is composed of stripes a and intervening rows of hexagons b, as shown. Below this is another pair of stripes, c, and a row of hexagons, d, between them. Below this there are series of stripes e e. The central part as shown.
