Be it known that I, Lester T. Sawyer, a citizen of the United States of America, residing at Leominster, in the county of Worcester and Commonwealth of Massachusetts, have invented a new, original, and ornamental Design for a Hairpin or Similar Article, of which the following is a specification, reference being had to the accompanying drawing, forming a part thereof.

Fig. 1 is a front elevation of a hairpin embodying my new design;

Fig. 2 is a side elevation of the hairpin; and

Fig. 3 is a. rear elevation of the hairpin.

The dominant feature of my design resides in the combination of a pair of slightly convergent, .Cnrved outer teeth, each having a scalloped inner edge, with a plain curved intermediate tooth REFERENCES CITED The following references are of record in the file of this patent:
